May 8th - I had a regular checkup yesterday. My husband was there for it as well. I am glad that he had an early day. By glucose was normal, I have not gained any weight either - yay! The babies heartbeat was 153. The doc reviewed the ultrasound that I had last month - my chances for DS and T23 are VERY small which was great to see. I am 2 days away from 17 weeks, my belly is getting round - and the baby is very low. It was even hard to find a heartbeat!! Sneaky Critter! The baby even kicked at the monitor as we were listening to him/her!!Less than 4 weeks until we have another ultrasound and I sure hope that we can find out if it is a boy or girl!!
April 16/08 - Hello again! Here we are - week 13.5 - days away from 14 weeks - and we are doing well. I can feel the top of the baby when I lay down. Trent can too - very exciting for him. The kids are just waiting for the next 6 weeks to go by to see what the little critter is. As am I!! I am feeling well, I am tolerating supper time much better - as long as what has been cooked does not smell - then I just eat cereal - the super of champions. I have only had one more bout with spotting and it cleared up in a couple days. I am getting less exhausted at the end of the day - slowly but surely things will return to normal - if only for a short time.
April 9/08 - I just wanted to share my good news! I went for my ultrasound yesterday - the little critter was 6.5cm long (2.5 inches for my friends south of the border) with a heart rate of 158. Critter was sleeping so nicely - but had some hiccups! So cute! I go to a place that sells a DVD of the ultrasound so my husband who could not make it was able to see everything. I am so happy to make it to 12 weeks - after having a M/C at 10 weeks last time - it was a hard road to travel. A person can never get over that feeling. I find that I pee all the time no matter what - and I found a whole shelf of no sugar added chocolates and gummie bears at the local Nutters store. they really taste wonderful!! I started off this pregnancy being diagnosed with Insulin reistance - and the doctors told me to go off my meds - but I did not listen - I did my research on the medication and I was not willing to stop. I was lucky that I managed to get a 3 month refill before we found out I was pregnant. I know - I should listen to the doc - but I had to listen to my heart. I wish everyone has a great day!!
March 31/08 - Here I am - 2 days into week 11 - Hooray! I am still so very tired - good thing I have a desk job and great kids - with a superb husband! Everbody is helping me with the chores around the house and cooking - it is so wonderful! It has been a whole week since I last spotted - which is so nice! I am happy to know that the little critter is doing well. I even went on a road trip for the first time since we found out I was pregnant - oh - thank you Red Lobster for the Cheese buscuits!
March 26/08 - Yay - I have made 10 and a half weeks! I have finally stopped spotting. Wow that is such a blessing - and such a relief! I have not spotted for 3 days - it kind of feels weird to have a new outlook on this pregnancy - I can start to feel confident instead of worried all the time. I am sure that my husband will be relieved as he is the one that suffered the most with my worries - Thank you hunny! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
March 23/08 - Happy Easter everyone! Well, here I am day 2 in week 10 - and I feel good. I am still spotting - but it seems that I am fine all day - but around 6 or 7 is when I notice it. I wish I knew what was going on. I am resting a lot in the evenings and during the day I have a desk job. Yesterday I was home resting most of the day and in the evening we went for a simple drive around town. When we came home, there it was. Like really - I cannot go for a drive around town?? I hope that this problem will go away soon. When I had my last ultrasound, she said that I was bleeding around the sac and as the baby grew, it would put pressure on it and stop. So - grow baby grow!
March 19/08 - I was sent for an ultrasound today as I have been spotting so much - nothing too heavy - but after one miscarriage - any spotting is too much! Well, the little critter is 2.5cm, we can see arms and legs and a heart rate of 170bpm. I now can rest easily for a bit longer! I am scheduled again for April 8th - woo hoo!
