January 31st

Hi, everyone. What an amazing journey this has been so far! I am 18 weeks pregnant and enjoying it immensely. I have had a very healthy pregnancy with really no complaints to speak of....at least not until last week. I had been under alot stress and was pushing it a bit too hard. I was so scared when I started bleeding. Thankfully, after an exhausting trip to the ER and an unexpected ultrasound, we were told that both of us were just fine. I have since been making sure that I don't overdue it. My wonderful husband and two children have been helping me out so much and showering me with love. I am so blessed and can't wait to meet my other little blessing in person!

February 3th

19 weeks today! This pregnancy is going so fast. The baby is moving alot now and kicks much harder. It's so fun feeling her/him throughout the day. I'm feeling good although once in awhile, I'm getting some hip or pelvic aches. Nothing too bad though and it's not constant. My biggest struggle is making sure I down the huge amount of water I should be drinking everyday, but it's worth it. :D

Thanks for response. I don't know what I would do without this forum:)

Thanks for the great advice. You're pretty inspiring. I'm 5'6 and aparently my baby is 9lbs as of last week. If I don't have her by Tuesday, I'll be induced (without pitocin, I don't want it). Yeah. After I said I didn't want Pitocin, my doctor like blew me off and said it doesn't really affect Csection rates that much and blah blah blah, but I shut her down. They don't listen for anything.

Thanks for the compliment on my nursery page!!

thanks for the comment, i've decided not to have him there, it will be too hard for me and he doesn't deserve to experience it after all he's done

cinnammonngirl - Tuesday, 17 June
Thanks for your advice! I think I'll bring the one I have and get a lightweight cotton one. Then, I'll have them both depending on what the weather's like. Usually it's scorching hot here this time of year, but our weather has been really weird, and it's cool and rainy all this week...so, you never know. Good luck to you! :o)

Thank you for your response in reference to home/water birth. I am excited to be at the point in making such a decision. I am truly leaning towards being at home and comfortable in my own surroundings. Still working out the kinks and looking for a midwife to assist. I pray all goes well with your baby and Congratulations.

Oh, I hope she stays nice and anterior for you! After a posterior birth, we deserve a better one! :) Wow, 10 pounds. Bless your heart! My son was 7 lb. 5 oz. and I thought HE was hard to push out! :)

When did you get a positive on your test? I got mine on 10/27. Thanks for your help!

Hey thanks so much for your comments on my page about my MIL. I got all teary eyed reading the nice things people said...it's nice to know there are other people who understand. And thanks for the compliments on the name...I want to tell my MIL that there are other people who think it's a exquistely beautiful name! Good luck with your baby and your in laws too!!

Rachel918 - Tuesday, 3 June
Thanks!!! I think I just need to come up with a nice way to say what I need to say to her... I love her so I dont want to upset her but I know she will be!!!! She calls alexa her baby already, so you are right i am scared of how she is going to be when the baby is actually born. Its her first grandchild and I am the youngest in my family, but still I need to be able to run my own life the way I want to!!!!! How are you doing??

happymomma2be - Saturday, 31 May
Awww...thank you! I was a bit surprised, as you can imagine!

Oh, as far as my MIL...seems she was having a bad day due to one of her kids...maybe that's why she wasn't so responsive about the outfits. But I think she's gonna be wrong about the outfits being too big! Haha! Now I am worried they will be too small! What a crazy world!

You don't have much longer either! Soon will be all swapping baby stories instead of preggo stories!! It's just around the corner! :)

mumtobe4july08 - Thursday, 22 May
have you had a previous home birth? this is my first so although i am nervous, i am also very excited.

happymomma2be - Tuesday, 20 May
Thank you! It's nice to know I am not losing my mind. Seems the general consensus is 2-3 days after birth, so maybe I am getting ahead of myself! Thank you again! :)

yari - Thursday, 15 May
yikes!! lol, my friend is about 5'4" her first son was also 10 lbs and she gave birth vaginally and the baby broke her tailbone!! 8 pounds is what I figured I would be having, but to have it confirmed and where it needs to happen to not have a c section agghhh, no worries just mindful if I get bigger hehe.

Grace - Thursday, 8 May
no, I haven't tried it, I'm in the process of trying some new things right now, hopefully I will find something that helps, something natural as God made it.
Blessings and thanks.

greenrose - Thursday, 17 April
I totally know what you mean. Well, I get hungry, but NOTHING sounds good and then I get grumpier because I don't eat and then feel crappy. It comes and goes, but the not-wanting-to-eat feeling is around more than I'd like. :S

happymomma2be - Thursday, 17 April
Uggh...yes, I feel awful. I have been actually vomiting and other it seems, too (almost every two nights). It may be my vitamins and my hormones. I don't know, but eating is unappealing right now. I only gained 1/2 a pound at my last doctor's visit, and the nurse wasn't really happy. Hang in there...maybe we'll get back to our old selves soon!
