UPDATE:
I am so happy to be here with everyone! I feel so blessed right now. My husband, Ryan and I have been trying for well over 2 years. I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks in September of 2006. It was so hard to deal with. We became pregnant again this past October but I miscarried on October 15th (my husbands birthday). It happened very early so it made it a bit easier to deal with. My doctor started us on Chlomid in November and December but failed to call in my prescription before I left to go to Paris for 8 days for my work. I told my husband that I just wanted to stop trying for awhile. My heart was so heavy.....I see so many people and friends with their beautiful babies and I didn't seem to be able to have the same. Ryan and I met when we were 16 and have been together ever since. A total of 16 years....we had everything but the total package. God doesn't always give us what we want when we want it. I have learned this lesson over and over again. I guess you could say that I am a bit stubborn! I had to stop obsessing about getting pregnant and then it happened. Everyone told me this but How do you not think about it?
I went to bed a couple of weeks ago and really wanted some pickles and cheese. I knew this was very strange. I took a test the next morning and it was positive! I was over the MOON! We are waiting to tell our parents after the ultra sound on March 17th. I will be 8 weeks at that time. I pray that God will let me keep this baby and that it is healthy and happy! I am here if anyone wants to talk because I have seen it all. My doctor is a high risk doctor and he told me that my first miscarriage (that lasted for almost 4 months) was only the second that he has seen in his practice of 20 years.
Will update soon!
Bonnie
