2.8 hours ago I'm in bed with debilitating back pain - why else would i be online on such a gorgeous sunny afternoon. My midwife and doula are sending me to an osteopath who specializes in the structural changes of the pregnant body, and man oh man i can't wait to see one. my thinking is that if anything is bothering us at this point we better get on it because we still have three months of expanding. so don't be afraid to ask for professional advice. best of luck! 4.5 hours ago Hello, I was just reading your comment about your sore hips. I had really sore hips during my last pregnancy, I went for massages with someone that specializes in pregnancy massage. It really helped. He told me the best thing is to keep moving, like walking for exercise, etc. I gained a lot of weight last time, he said that doesn't help either. Pineapple is supposed to help with joint pain, so you could give that a try. I've also heard those memory foam mattress toppers help too. Hopefully something helps you out during these last few months, good luck! roro73 -

Saturday, 14 June Its totally not fair. I use to work, I had a nice desk job. I had to quit because this job requires him to be on call 24hrs... And finding a babysitter is impossible. Now that were expecting number 3 I don't think I'll ever get freedom... Or even a freaking hour to myself. Tell him he better let thos boys sleep in or he'll find out that you went to the spa at 7:30 in the morning and he gets to spend all day with the boys lol. mommy2beoct10 -
Thursday, 12 June I know....I use to sleep on my belly everynight. Its been such a change sleeping on my side. Every weekend when we go to the beach, I dig a hole and lay with my belly in it. Its so comfy. Anyways I hope your having a great day!! Take care *AJLS* -

Hey I read your comment on week 22 and I have also had some pretty bad hip pains, but mine are both sides. I do have bad hips though, I was hit by a car a few years ago and they have never been right since. They pop out of place and such normally and now being pregnant, it just makes it worse, I can barely walk sometimes without it hurting like crazy, I actually have cried a few times cause it hurts so bad. Sleeping is also a nightmare, I'm used to sleeping on my stomach which can't happen anymore and even now on your back after 20 weeks is supposed to be bad, so I'm stuck on my side which aggravates them pretty bad. I suggest a heating pad or even chiropractor, that may take some of the pain away. Good Luck and I hope you feel better! itsagirl4me -
Sunday, 8 June hi hun, i've been coming to this site since week 7 however when i read you comment about your hip and back i had to finally sign up. i recently had to take a trip to the emergency room because i was in so much back pain. i have a history of low back problems with pinched nerves but this time it was so bad ( i even lost my bladder the night i went) i know what your going through, if it gets so terribly bad that you just cant stand it anymore, insist your dr see about an MRI or a safe drug called flexeral. that is about the only thing getting me through this. i wish you the best of luck. babywells1215 -

Tuesday, 13 May Hey there, I saw that you were from Eugene, I had a friend that worked up there at the University in the IT department. I was there in December (am from Kansas City) and it was just gorgeous! You are so lucky to live in such a pretty place. shelm2 -
Tuesday, 13 May I went to one of those elective places and it cost about 100 dollars. It was very worth it though, I just couldn't wait until week 23 when my doctor plans on doing my us. I have no idea why they make you wait so long!!!! sichic714 -

Friday, 9 May Thank you!! You are so sweet. I hope you're able to get an ultrasound that day too! If not, I'm sure your Dr. will schedule you for one very soon. There is something fun about the anticipation of not knowing too. Hope all is well and thanks for your note. Continued happiness and blessings to you as well :) kmoiphy -
Friday, 9 May I totally understand what you are going through. This is my second pregnancy and I did not have this issue with my first. I have to have another c-section and so the first time I felt the heart palpations I thought this was bad news for me. I thought of all kinds of horrible things that would happen. I told my husband my heart feels like it cannot handle pressure. They have slowed down now but every once and awhile I will have a few in an hour and then not another for a week. My dr. said it was okay and normal. I hope this helps but your mind to ease. Good luck Courtney H.ItaliaBrit -
Monday, 28 April Lol.. They say first time moms don't usually notice a belly until their 5th month. With my daughter i didn't really notice til then. But they say when your on your second you can definitely notice a big change and tell when the baby is moving earlier then first timers. Definitely true. I don't know if this is your first but you'll get there girl i promise :D Good Luck to you and welcome to the site.Hugs
Courtney
