Hey ladies! My name is Brandie Nichole! I am a mommy of 3 kid's. Nicholas Benoit my oldest 5. Tatiyana Alyssa 2 (my step daughter) and OUR baby Hailey Nichole born 4/28/08. I love my life and my family! I would not trade it for anything. I was married to my wonderful husband JC on June 3rd 2006. We have been married a little over 2 years. I work full time at a job I really love and full time when i get home! LOL My husband also works full time. I love to have fun with my kid's and have date nights with my husband when possible! I feel very blessed for all that I/we have. I like to surround my self with upbeat kind people! I have learned a lot from this site and have met some of the most incredible kind hearted people that I hope to keep in contact with throughout my journey! I may have told you this b4, but I'm from Tampa and am so freakin jealous! It's still cold and rainy here, but I 'll be home in Sept so the GP's can see the baby... Will only be there 4 a week, and Sept feels sooo far away right now!

i am 24 and got my tubes tied when i just had my baby almost 9 weeks ago! i think three is enough for me! i mean i did kinda get sad for the fact that i can't have anymore children but i think it is just b/c i can't! but good luck with the desicion!

I don't think it makes you a bad mom. Some woman on the post freaked out when I asked the other SAHM's how they handled it. I was afraid of the same thing. But my husband works nights. So I get the days with him and Addi. And I have lots of family close by I can go and visit if I need adult conversation! And I understand what you mean about the money too. We share our money as well, but I feel bad when I use that to get him something, but he does the same for me so it just works! I am thinking about trying again next May. I have a strange urge to get pregnant right away. I dunno why, I just do. I am fighting it tho. I know I need to wait a little while.

Thank you! I am doing great. And LOVING bein a SAHM. It is a full time job, and my husband is working his ass off so we can do it. But I wouldn't have it any other way! I love being home with home with her. I can't wait to have another one!

Haha, definitely hard headed BOYS and I am the only female in the house! What am I going to do in their teenage years?! LOL I'm wanting to have one more in 5yrs or so but at the moment hubby doesn't want anymore. I don't see why because I do most of the work. Haha, but hopefully it'll be a girl because I WILL get my 3rd child! LOL

I need to figure out a way to explain it to him, how I feel. But the only words I can come up with are unappreciated, slave and being taken advantage of. Which is exactly what you said! Sounds like it helped a lot once you told your hubby how you were feeling. I would just like to be acknowledged. A thanks here or there would be great! I don't even get a "that was good! thanks for dinner." Not something I can really just say oh well too. Everyday I ask him how work was and he says "ok" or "busy" or "slow" and I never get asked how my day was. I guess I need to sit down and think of a way to bring this up to him without it turning in to an argument. This is gunna be tough! LOL

AWw!! Thanks a bunch! And same to you! You seem like an amazing person! Wish I could meet people like you around here. I'm sure they're around I just can't seem to find them! We just moved to a new city back in the beginning of April and we don't know ANYONE here.

When I was working full time my hubby helped out but not as much as he had agreed to when I had decided to go out and get a job. I stayed at home with my first son for 18 months. But now that I'm staying home with both kids, he doesn't do anything. He even leaves dishes on the table. I did all the dishes the other day so that when we were done eating he could just wash his plate and leave it out to dry. I asked him to and all he did was rinse it off and he said that's all I'm doing. I worked all day. What the hell does he think I do all day?! Oh well. He helps with the kids somewhat but I don't know. I'm not a slave and that's how I feel. No one helps with any of the cleaning around here. I have to do it all myself. Haha... Now I'm writing a novel!

I sure hope that I lose it all. Or at least most of it!!! Wish I didn't get stretchmarks. Or even just a few. I got a TON of them! And they're ALL over too! Oh well! Nothing I can do about it so I won't let it bother me.

Yeah, I had lost 40lbs right off the bat with my first one but then came the birth control and right along with that was 20lbs. So this time I don't know what I want to do for birth control. I'm thinking Mirena. What did you decide to do? But yeah, I'd say I have a good 40-60lbs to lose. I would happy with 40lbs but totally ecstatic if I lose 60! LOL But somewhere around there would be my ideal weight. That's the only thing I hate about having kids is the weight gain and changing body. My hips will never be the same! Oh yeah, can't forget the stretchmarks. Absolutely disgusting! LOL Oh well, it's all worth it.

I know what you mean. I gained 80lbs with my first pregnancy and although I've lost the 22lbs I gained this time, I still have 60lbs to lose from the first one. And the picture with the hands, it just kinda happened. I had the camera and my older son came over and grabbed Cayden's hand and I just took a picture real fast before I missed it.
