On the 19th i started to have contractions about 5 minutes apart really early in the morning. They continued throughout the day and kept getting stronger. So at around 8 or so my mom and Candy drove me down to the hospital. I only had about 2 contractions that i felt on the way down. When i got there they admitted me and they hooked me up to a machine to monitor the contractions and heartbeat. After they checked my results they checked to see if i was dilated i was only a cm and a half so they said that my contractions were not strong enough to dilate me any more and they sent me home... (contractions were still 5 min. apart) so on the way home i was having extremely painful ones and at home they were even worse i was SCREAMING downstairs on the couch and they were coming about 2-3 min. apart. My mom was putting my sis to bed and she said she couldn't take it any more we HAD to go to the hospital. So i called Brandon and said it was time and we were on our way. When we got there they hooked me up to the machine again and checked my dilation and i was 3 cm, they took me into the labor room and at some point i got the epidural. After that i wasn't feeling anything but high, lol. I also got some sleep. But after i woke up the next day i started feeling tons of pressure in my butt. Brandon was sleeping i don't know where my mom was but i started to BAWL my eyes out. It hurt soooo bad but only there i was still numb. We called the nurse and after awhile of feeling the contractions there they gave my more of the epidural... i still felt it. Then they gave me more. Still felt it. So they asked if i wanted more but i was so numb everywhere else i said i didn't want it cause it wasn't helping they insisted on more and my mom flipped out. then they checked my dilation and just said forget it we're gonna push. I was in a lot of pain and so relieved to hear that cause at that point thats what my body wanted to do. I don't know how long i was pushing for but it seemed like FOREVER... but when they said it was going to be only 3 more pushes i pushed like hell. 8 pushes later At 1:30pm on March 20 Tristan Noah Holmes was born!! 7 pounds 21" I didn't watch the head come out but i saw his body and it was the most amazing thing ever! Once he came out and they layed him on my stomach, I started to cry, my mom and brandon were crying. my mom was jumping up and down it was just the most awsome thing in the whole world. My mom said some of the nurses were even crying. Everyone was really proud of me considering i did it feeling everything because the epidural wore off. It was truly one of the most rewarding experiances of my life.

.:0n March 21st...:
Tristan went in for his circumcision which was explained to me as a "routine procedure that takes 15-20 minutes." Well after they didn't bring him in my room like they were supposed to afterward i started to get worried. The docter who did it came in and explained that something went wrong... (he didn't say this but he basically cut the head of the penis off.) I was a complete mess... im not going into detail but he was admitted to a different hospital for a penile amputation and had to get surgery to re attach it. He was there for 9 days... those were a looong and expensive 9 days including gas, food, having to stay there overnight with him. Too, i JUST gave birth i was supposed to be takin care of myself not runnin around worrying... but we made it. The worst is over and everyone is getting back to normal finally. Tristan is healthy we just have to take EXTRA care of that area.
