Thursday, 10 July lol no prob! mumsy -
Wednesday, 9 July I haven't had sex yet (c-section two weeks ago) because I still have a fair amount of bleeding...like an average period. I had a c-section with my last pregnancy too and I remember having sex after two weeks. As far as orgasms go, I'm pretty sure it's fine...I haven't burst into flames yet anyway! I think it is just to reduce the chance of infection, like you said. I think it is like a lot of the things with the whole pregnancy world, if you feel it is right and you are ready, you probably are. Good luck...I'm sure your hubby we be appreciative lol. Sunday, 22 June Not too much. I have gained about 50 pounds, but I was really underweight to begin with. This just has started. I mean, my ankles swell every once in awhile but that is about it. I am having a big baby though. So, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I have a Dr. appointment Wed, so I will let you know what they say because I am definetly going to ask them... tylersmom -
Saturday, 21 June The hospital has panties for you if you want, they are very ugly. they are like a net, but just enough material to hold in pads, they are so comfortable I asked to take a couple pair home, they are very loose too so they won't bother your insicion. lunagator -
Saturday, 21 June Thanks- I think I am just overreacting- oh, boy my child is in for it with me! Thank you for you response :) 907 -
Friday, 20 June OH no really! I hadn't heard that. That is scary. I just don't know which is worse though, have a net fall on your baby or have a cat suffocate them! missyh -
Friday, 20 June Hi! I just read your post and we are having our babies on the same day. Can you believe only 11 days left?! I do feel bad for the others that don't really know when they are to be expecting their little blessings. It sucks to have to have a c-section, but at least we can sort of plan things a little better. ttys! buddysmom -
Monday, 16 June Me and my sister in law are due 6 days apart! I thought we were close! She is due july 8th and I am due on the 14th. I can't wait to see how far apart we end up. Good luck to you! mrssection8 -
Friday, 13 June Thanks... they said my (small) sample at the hospital checked out OK, so I'm hoping it was just a freak thing. julluv-08 -

Monday, 9 June Chicken pox is only contagious 'before' the rash occurs. If your neice had a rash, you were probably fine. tally618 -
Monday, 9 June Regarding chicken pox, tell your doctor you have been exposed. Just because you have had them, your baby has not and this can cause complications, usually earlier in the pregnancy, but your doctor needs to be made aware. mdbabyno1 -
Sunday, 8 June Why don't you ask your doctor what their normal proceedure is of recovery time. My hospital is great! After the baby is born, you have an hour to bond with the baby without nurses/doctors or other family members bothering you(given everything is normal). My bf and I are really looking forward to that time right after delivery to get to know our little girl, breastfeed, and just relax. I think it will be a very special time. After that, other family members can come in the room to visit. tylersmom -
Saturday, 7 June I had a c-section with my first, it was unexpected so some of my family were in the waiting room and when I was wheeled back to my room my mom was there, which was fine with me, I wanted to nurse right away and have some skin to skin time with my son. I didn't like knowing that I had a waiting room full of people waiting to come in, I felt rushed. I'm having a planned section this time at 9:00am and I'm telling people that if they want to come it has to be late afternoon/early evening or the next day. Your going to want to rest too, surgury is a little tiring so you might even want to limit the number of people that come, that's what I'm doing this time around, I would rather have people come see us when we get home. I want to use the hospital time for rest and to start to bond with my baby. Hope I could help, good luck. julluv-08 -
Friday, 6 June thanks for your help! My first pregnancy I always measured normal so I never wondered! She said it was normal so I figured I was good but I figured I would ask! Thanks so much! congrats on your pregnancy! lindylou39 -
Thursday, 5 June You're welcome! You must have PIH or pre-eclampsia; I did too - no fun. I hope everything goes well. Make sure you you have lots of help for the household stuff when you get home. It's not a fun recovery and you need to take care of yourself and your baby. Make sure your hubby brings a pillow for you to wear between your stomach and the seatbelt for your ride home from the hospital. BTW the first sneeze is pure torture... klm -
Wednesday, 4 June yep..id get a pack of the overnight pads. so much fun .lol. i know the hospital gave me enuf for my stay there and i think they may have given me some to take home too. i just remember that i did not bleed as long as some friends who had a vaginal delivery. AND....it doesnt hurt to go pee or number 2 afterwards like with a vaginal delivery. gotta love that. lindylou39 -
Wednesday, 4 June Hi Brandilla - The bleeding you'll get after your c-section is not from the birth (which is the first type of bleeding from a natural birth), but the lochia that follows ALL births. It is blood that is shed after the placenta is detached and as your uterus starts to shrink. It last between a week or two and is like a period, complete with cramps (especially while you're nursing). By the way, I just noticed we're due the same day - good luck! klm -
Wednesday, 4 June i had a c section with my first -6 years ago and i had some heavy bleeding the first few days and then after that it was just like a normal period and i was done bleeding completely in about a week! it wasnt bad at all. sbrittc2000 -
Monday, 2 June Hey girl, I use the Baby ALL detergent and find that it works really well. My son had eczema and it did not bother him at all. Hope this helps. Congrats on your little one!
