When he checked to see if I was dialated he could feel her head. I don't really understand how he could if I wasn't dialated, but that's what he said. I've started to be able to pick out which little body part is poking me. She likes to stick her butt out! I've noticed that I've been able to breathe a little better the last couple of days. I hope that means she's dropped a little! I'm getting so excited for my shower! 13 people, that's a pretty good turn out! That's funny they didn't get anything off the registry. People like to buy what they think is cute for babies! It's kinda funny, I asked my sister how you know you're labor and she just looked at me and said, "Oh, you'll know!" So, I guess it's a very unmistakable feeling. I think it's the not knowing when it's going to happen that makes me crazy! No, my doctor hasn't said anything about inducing me. I almost wish he would, then I would know when she'll be here! Did you get all your pre-registration paper work done for the hospital? We just got the paperwork yesterday, so I guess I better get on it!

I'll have to go check out Mervyns and see what they have! Yeah, I've had my bag ready for about 2 weeks now. Maybe I'm a little over prepared, I don't know! I've got some comfy clothes for me, an outfit and blanket for Katelyn, the camera, its charger, and hygiene type stuff. My appointment was today and I'm so upset. I'm not dialated at all! NOTHING! The good news is she is head down. I'm just SO ready for her to be here that the thought of waiting any longer is just killing me! I'm starting to get nervous about going into labor. Everyone says that when you're in labor, you'll know, but I'm worried I won't. Do you worry about that at all?

Mine's not having a theme, at least not one that I know about! What stores in the mall did you find the clothes at? Not that Katelyn needs anymore clothes, she already got them until she's two. Yeah, I'm addicted to the shoes too. Danny got after me because he said I was going to give her a shoe fetish! :) I just can't help myself! So do you have your hospital bag all ready to go? I'm starting to get really impatient about going into labor. I'm just ready for it to happen already!

Yeah, the getting up in the middle of the night thing is getting a little old! McCall sounds like so much fun! Danny is heading up to Cascade tomorrow for work and I wanted to go with him, but I have too much homework! :( I know, it's so crazy to think they could be here anytime! It's an exciting thought! I can't wait to finally see what she looks like! We go to the doctor on Tuesday and he is going to check me then. I better be doing something because I'm ready for this little girl to be here! I'm getting so excited for my baby shower! It's really bad, but I looked at my registery on-line and it tells you what people have bought off of it. So, I already know some of the things I'm getting! :) I think it makes me that much more excited for it though! Mine is inside, I don't think I would make it if it's outsire. We're doing it at 2:00, so outdoors would kill me! What about yours? Are you doing any type of theme for it?

Yeah, I think I'll have to have Katelyn here to know what I need. Since I've never had a baby before I feel like I have no idea what she's going to need! How was the bridal shower? I know what you mean about being tired and your body hurting. I feel like I can barely get off the couch without help from Danny. I stopped wearing shoes that have to be tied a while ago, all of mine are slip-on. So I think Katelyn has been using my bladder as a trampoline! It has gotten so bad with going to the bathroom ALL THE TIME! Have you been having a hard time breathing? I'm having to worst time with it! I'm so ready to have her, only a little while longer!

That's too funny that our showers are on the same day, I'm only having one though. Everyone keeps asking me what I need for the baby and I honestly don't know what to tell me. I feel like I have almost everything for her. I was talking to my mom and she told me that all of her kids came early and then I was talking to my sister and she went into labor 3 weeks early, so I think Katelyn is going to come early. I;ve been told that it tends to by hereditary. The heat really isn't that bad. I stay in the air conditioning for the most part during the day and Danny and I don't go on our walk till after 7, so I guess I just avoid the hot parts of the day. What about you? Running around in a bakery has got to be hot right now. I'm so jealous you only have that many days of work left! I'm going to be working basically up until I have her. It's weird to think that they could come at any time, kind of a scarey thought! :)

It sounds like you had a good 4th. I can't wait till I can go boating and do something besides just watch! I have people at work touch my belly and that doesn't really bother me because I know them. I just hear about random people touching pregnant women's bellies, I don't know how I would react to that one! It's starting to get really exciting, only a few weeks to go. Katelyn's room is pretty much done except for the crib. We still haven't gotten the thing to go get a new one! At my sister bridal shower, they had asked her fiance questions and then quized her on them. It was funny to see how well she really knew him! Other than that, I can't think of any games. My baby shower is in about 3 weeks, on the 26th. I'm starting to get excited for it. My mom and sister went out and got all the decorations, I can't wait. I'm a little worried that it's only 4 weeks from my due date though. I have a feeling she is going to come early! When is your baby shower?

Yeah, my birthday was in May. It was a quiet one since I couldn't do a whole lot! So, no you're not going crazy. Everyone says that even if they are sleeping, you don't. I've heard that you're always waking up just to make sure they're still breathing. We went to the doctor on Tuesday and everything was good. He decided not to do another ultrasound (big let down), because he said I was measuring just fine and she sounds like she's just fine. I still think she's going to be a smaller baby, but that's okay. Did you guys end up doing anything fun on the 4th? We went out to a BBQ with some friends and did fireworks over there. It was so funny because Katelyn was jumping on the loud ones. Danny put his hand on my tummy and he could feel her moving all over, she didn't like them very much! So, I hear pregnant women complain about strangers touching their belly, have you had anyone do that? I haven't had a single stranger do that (which really is okay with me).

We have a bassinet for her when she first comes home. The way our house is set up, our bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from hers, so it's too far for when she's first home. I want her right there beside me. So, I guess it's not that big of a deal of we don't have the new crib yet, but it would be nice to have her room completely done. That's neat that your dad is making you a cradle. Yeah, even if you don't use it, it's a neat thing to have. All together, we've have 5 ultrasounds, the first two were just trying to figure out how far along I was. The third one was because we couldn't get her heartbeat with the doppler thing. The fourth was the routine/gender one. And then the fifth one was because I was spotting, so just making sure she was okay. The one tomorrow, we have to make sure she's growing okay. It'll be interesting to see if she's gotten any fatter! Just think though, in no time at all, we'll be able to see they ALL the time! Yeah, they are looking pretty squished in there, not a whole lot of room left. Do you feel like Gracie is getting stronger? Katelyn's kicks have been packing a lot more punch lately, some of them even hurt! How was the drive to Sugar City? I don't think I could sit that long. We went to Emmett to visit my sister on Saturday and that drive was almost too long for me! I've been wanting fresh fruit. Watermelon is my absolute favorite! YUM! It might have something to do with the heat too! It was SO hot this weekend, yuck! Have you been having any crazy dreams? I have been having the weirdest dreams lately.

I couldn't imagine having to be on my feet all day, I think I would die. But you're right, no matter what you do something hurts! It is really crazy to think about another person being in your house and your lives. It's hard to think that it isn't going to be just me and Danny anymore. It's exciting though! I can't wait. I'm so ready for her to get here! I think I'll end up pumping more than actual breastfeeding. I want Danny to be able to feed her and have that conection (plus he can get up at night with a bottle). Plus, breastfeeding is free! :) Yeah, I have colostrum that will come out every now and again. I've heard some women say they are actually leaking before they have their babies, but it's nothing like that yet. Are you going to breastfeed? I think about what she looks like ALL the time. I love looking at the ultrasound picture we have of her face. I just wonder who's nose she'll have or who's eyes. It's almost enough to make ya go crazy not knowing! Yes, I get heartburn all the time, except it's not in my chest, it's more in my throat. It hurts so much, I can't stand it. What about you? Oh, guess what I found out yesterday? Katelyn's crib has a recall on it! So we now have to wait for the company to send us something so we can go down and get her a whole new one! I just hope they get it to us by the time we have her. Of course I would rather have her safe, but still! Have you noticed your joints getting looser? My are popping all the time! It's kind of gross!

Yeah, I'm really excited to get to see her again. I just hope she's gaining weight okay. I'm not too worried though, Danny and I were both smaller babies so it wouldn't surprise me if she's little too. Poor Katelyn isn't going to have any cousins close to her in age. That's neat that Gracie will have two cousins close to her, I always loved that. Nobody besides Danny and I have felt her kick. She wont kick for anyone else, it's the oddest thing. I was so funny, the other night Danny was watching my stomach and she started moving like crazy. It was the first time he'd really seem her moving like that. You should have seen his expression, it was priceless! We need to get a video camera so I can record it, it cracks me up every time she does it! Yeah, my mom is so excited. I can't imagine what it must be like for her to know that her baby is having a baby. I guess I'll know someday, but it must be crazy! I forget that I'm pregnant for split seconds... and then I move or she kicks me and I remember really quick! Are you getting to the point where you are just uncomfortable? I feel like no matter what I do, some part of me aches. I never thought getting out of bed would be such a task!

Oh, we're not going to Colorado again. I was saying I used up my leave from work when we went a couple weeks back. Nope, from here on out, I'm staying home. I don't want to go into labour anywhere far away from my doctor. Yeah, we go into the doctor next week and they should be doing another ultrasound. At the last one they said she was little, so they just want to make sure she's gaining enough weight. I can't wait to see her, I love looking at the pictures I have now. It's so amazing! Wow, 15 miles! I can barely go up a flight of stairs without being out of breath! I love kayaking! I'm jealous, it sounds like you had so much fun! Katelyn will be the first grand-daughter on my side. We have 3 nephews on my side and 3 neices on Danny's side, so she's the tie breaker! My mom is so excited it's not even funny! Is Gracie the first grandchild for your or Kyle's parents? Does Gracie respond when Kyle talks to her? It seems like Katelyn loves Danny's voice. When he talks to her she starts kicking and moving, it's so funny! It's crazy because I feel like I can already tell her personality a little bit. We'll have to see if I'm right when she gets here!

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one who's sex life is suffering. I was feeling like such a bad wife! Yeah, I think for the 4th we'll end up going down to Ann Morrison to watch fireworks, but other than that nothing. I wonder if the noise from the fireworks with make Katelyn jump. That would be kinda funny! We normally have to hectic holidays, we're always traveling. That's why I'm so happy to be pregnant, I have an excuse! We're doing cherry furniture too. We figured it made sense to have to match the rest of the house. You know, I haven't had any real cravings. I seem to like fresh fruit, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm still waiting to want pickles and iceceam! :) What about you, anything crazy? The doctor hasn't gotten after me lately, I've been gaining weight, so I guess he's happy. Lately I haven't felt much like eating though, so he might start getting after me again. When do you get to do your next ultrasound? I love actually being able to see her, it's so neat! I'll have to take my vacation time before I leave. I think I used most of it to go to Colorado though. That's so nice that you get 2 weeks before your due date. Ill still be in school until a week before my due date. Hope she doesn't come too early!

My little brother had to miss our wedding because he was deployed and now my other brother will miss seeing Katelyn because he'll be stationed somewhere. It's sad, but it's life! I'm so sorry about Kyle's grandma, that's really hard. We had to order her dresser from Walmart because we couldn't find anything that matched, would fit where it needed to, and didn't cost a ton! Her crib and changing table are from babies r us, but they didn't have the match dresser, so hopefully this one will be okay! Yeah, we have registered. We did that a couple weeks ago and I keep adding things to it. Have you guys registered? It's really hard having him gone. He's out in the field, so when I do get to talk to him it's really short and you can't hear anything because there are tanks in the background. Getting 5 minutes to talk to him is better than nothing though. We are doing absolutely nothing for 4th of July and I couldn't be happier. Normally that's when we go visit family, but not this year. We get a 4 day weekend for it and I'm so happy to just be at home. We'll finally be able to get some stuff done around the house. Sex life... hmmmm. Well, it's not what it used to be! :) It's completely me though, I just don't want a whole lot to do with it (not exactly feeling real sexy right now). No matter how we're doing it, it's kind of uncomfortable for me. And Danny is so worried about hurting me or Katelyn. I'm looking forward to it going back to a more normal (hopefully). He's been pretty good about it though. How about you?

My dad works for the Bureau of Land Management, he took a lot of temporary jobs when he was fresh out of college so we moved a lot. It really makes you appreciate having a place to call home. Is your brother active duty? My little brother just switched from reserve to active. He leaves in about 3 weeks. It makes me nervous because I know the active army is deployed a lot more. Yeah, there is no way I could sleep on the ground right now. When we were at my mother-in-laws house, the bed there just about killed me! :) Are you going for 4th of July? You'll have to take some pictures of her room. That's awesome you got it done. We're still waiting on Katelyn's dresser to be delivered. Besides the dresser, there are just a couple of little things I still have to do, but she could come home now and it would be fine. I go and sit in Katelyn's room too! I love being in there, it's so peaceful. Danny being gone for these 2 weeks are for training with the army, before when he was gone it was for work. He's promised me that this is the last trip this year. I just hate it when he's gone, the house is so quiet. Do you get round ligament pain? I was up all night last night because it hurt so much. Not fun!

Yeah, it was never boring... or quiet! :) It still never is. My youngest brother is only 6! My husband only has 1 brother, so meeting my family was a little bit of a shock! We only want to have 2, maybe 3. I think if the next one is a girl again we would try a third time for a boy. Yeah, after being pregnant, I'm really hoping the next one is a boy so I only do this twice! :) I always miss Danny when he's gone. It doesn't help that I can't keep my emotions under control either. He was gone 3 weeks ago and I would just sit there and cry, but then again comercials make me cry. We look at it as he goes and does his training now so that he can be home when Katelyn arrives. I'd much have him around then! That's awesome that you guys are going camping. How fun! Are you sleeping on the ground or do you have an air mattress for you? Just thinking about sleeping on anything but my bed right now makes my back hurt! I call Boise home because it's the place I've lived the longest and I love it here. I moved all over when I was younger. We lived in Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, and Florida. I think Boise was like the 15th place I've lived. I wouldn't change it though, it makes me appreciate having a place I want to stay for awhile. Have you been in Idaho your whole life?

The Meridian's Moms club gets together for play dates depending on the ages of your kids. They go to the zoo, the park, and all sorts of places. They also have moms night out, you go to a movie or scrapbook or whatever it is that they have planned. Here's their website, momsclubofmeridian.org. It sounds like it would be a lot of fun and it gives you a chance to get out of the house! It's really hard to believe we've only got 12 weeks left, and who knows, maybe less time then that if they decide to make their apperance early! My older sister is doing my shower for me. We're not doing it until the end of July, so I should be nice and huge by then! I actually have 9 kids in my family. I'm number 2, 5 boys and 4 girls! What about you? I never played sports for the high school. we moved here after volleyball started, so I couldn't play. I love playing whenever I get the chance though! Good job on no cavities! We went to the dentist a few weeks ago and I didn't have any cavities, but my gums were so sore after. Another one of those hidden joys of being pregnant! I guess we have to enjoy it though, it will be over before we know it!

Yeah, we did have fun, but it's always nice to be back home. I went to the doctor today and was asking him about other things I can do besides an epidural and there aren't a whole lot of options. I have a feeling I'll end up getting one. Yeah, I didn't even look at the scale when they weighed me. It just depresses me. I know I'm behind what I should be with weight gain, but it's still hard. I figure as long as I'm getting exercise and eating okay, there isn't much I can do about it. How do you sign up for football? I mentioned something to my husband and I could tell he liked the idea. He hasn't played since high school. That would be too cute with little cheerleader outfits! Hey, have you heard about Meridian Moms Club? Someone told me about it and it's a club for stay at home moms in the area. It sounds kinda fun. If decide to stay at home, I think I'm going to join so I still have some social interaction! I know, time is going by SO fast. I can't believe there are less than 3 months before they get here! I'm so ready!

No, we haven't signed up for lamaze yet. My husband has to leave this Friday for two weeks to go do training for the Army, so we'll have to wait till he gets home. I'm not against getting an epideral, but I not sold on getting one. A needle going into my spine freaks me out a little, I just don't like the thought of it. I figure that millions of women have gone through child birth without an epideral, so it can't be that horrible. The family went crazy seeing my belly. It was the cutest thing because my 6 year old niece kept coming and hugging my belly and say, "Oh, my cousin." It was the cutest thing! I didn't do too bad with the rest stop thing... a lot more than normal, but not too bad. So your husband plays football? I should get my husband into that... he would love it.

That's so cute, you guys are high school sweet hearts! Where did your husband go on his mission? I think Katelyn gets hiccups every now and again, it just makes me laugh. So have you guys signed up for lamaze classes? Or are you planning on taking it? We're leaving for Colorado tomorrow... I think I'm going to count how many times we have to make a rest stop for me! :) I'll probably set a new record!

I remember decorating cakes around graduation time! YIKES! It was always so crazy! Then you go right into wedding season. It was really funny... one of the guys my husband works with is getting married in August and asked if I would make their wedding cake. I just started laughing because I'm either going to have this huge belly or a brand new baby! I don't see that working out well either way. :) I wish my husband's parents lived closer, holidays are so hard because we have to try to make everyone happy. I think this year everyone should come to us! I lived in Meridian in high school, but went to Eagle High. What about you? My husband and I met when I moved to Colorado to go to school with some friends. I ended up hating Colorado but found a great guy, so I married him and brought him home with me. He lived two doors down from some friends, so it worked out well. Where did you and your husband meet? I don't really get cramps in my hamstrings, but I get round ligament pain like nothing else. My husband thought I was going into labor last weekend because I was hurting so much. Every now and again I'll get really weird cramps in my feet! Oh the joys of pregnancy! :)

What do you do in the bakery? I used to work at a bakery as a cake decorator... I loved it! Yeah, it would start to get a little hard to be running around a bakery about now! It sounds like her room will be so cute! We're doing Katelyn's in purple and pink butterflies. The walls are going to be a light puprle with pink and white accents. I'm not sure what the bed set it called, my mom found it for me actually. It's really cute though. I'm getting excited to get her room going. It is weird to think about staying home. If I could have it my way, I would work only a couple days a week. We'll just have to wait and see though. It's really nice having my family close. They live like 5 miles from us, so it's pretty easy to visit. My husband's family is from Colorado. We're actually going to be visiting them next week. I'm a little nervous because they haven't seen me since I got pregnant, so it should be interesting. Are your families from around here?

It wasn't because of the miscarriages. I started spotting and had to go in on Monday to make sure everything was okay. He couldn't see anything wrong, so he told me that I need to slow down. I tend to be a very go-go person, so I have to relax a little. I work in an office, so it's nice that I don't have to run around a whole lot at work. What do you do at work? I don't know if I'm going back to work. I'm torn because I love my job and the people I work with, but I don't like the thought of leaving Katelyn. My mom would be willing to watch her, so atleast she wouldn't be at a daycare with strangers. I just don't know yet! You're staying at home after, aren't you? Oh, I wanted to do Waynes coating in the room, but I think the room is too small. I don't think you would really even see it. We haven't started yet, but I think this weekend we're going to start clearing out the room. I can't believe it's already time to start her room! How are you decorating Gracie's room? What color did you paint?

Yeah, we are always doing stuff in the yard. Over the weekend we re-did one of the flower beds in the yard. I pretty much had to sit there and watch because I couldn't lift the bricks. My husband did a good job! :) I try to get plenty of exercise... we like to go on long walks and swim. I was just told by the doctor yesterday that I have to stop doing so much, so that rules out any intense working out! I would love to take a pregnancy yoga class, but all of them that I've found have been full. What about you? Where do you guys go camping?
