Yeah! 20 weeks, half way there, this is my first baby and I am enjoying every minute of this miracle!!

Well it's Dec 10th, I have a Doctor Appt. today @ 11:15, I can't wait, it has been 6 weeks since my last apt. because I am in between doctor's right now, I get to meet my new one today, I hope he is better than the last one.

I am looking forward to hearing the heartbeat !!!!

12/11/07 - Well, my Doctor visit went very well, I love my new doctor, he is great!! I also learned I have an anterior attached placenta, that is why I have not felt any movements, I feel so much better! I am measuring normal everywhere else!!

Well, I am almost 26 weeks, My Husband and I finally got the nursery done, I love it, it looks a little drab in the pictures but I swear it is so much cuter in person. I have a doc appt on Tuesday the 8th. I don `t think it will be a very eventful one, just the usual. I am going to ask if there will be another ultrasound, I keep hearing about people that where told they were having one sex only to discover they were having the opposite, I could pay for another ultrasound but they start at around 150 dollars, which I am trying to save everything I can for maternity leave right now. I can `t complain too much about being pregnant except for the heartburn that is always with me now, I `m sure it is only going to get worse and this is the easy part so I am trying not to dwell too much on it. We bought a much needed new couch so my Husband and I have decided I will continue to work my second job until we can pay it off and then I can quite, I can `t wait. It is getting so hard to get out of bed in the morning and the exhaustion is setting in once again.

Wednesday, 9 Jan

Well, I had my 26 weeks Doctor appt yesterday, all is well I am measuring exactly 26 centimeters and Maddie had a heart rate of 140 BPM. I am a little sad to say I have gained 9 pounds in the last month, I am now totalling 35 pounds of weight gain already, AHHHHHHH!!!! I guess I new this was gonna happen, no woman in my family has ever had a baby without gaining at least 50 pounds, it sure as hell doesn `t make it any easier though, I guess I `ll just have to work my ass of after this pregnancy to get rid of the weight, literally. I go back in two weeks for my GD test, got the yucky drink yesterday, after that I start the bi-weekly appt. `s. My doctor informed me that I will not be getting another ultasound unless there is a problem, I think this sucks because I was really hoping that I would get one more confirmation of girl before I went crazy buying stuff. I just can `t spend the money to get a private one done, to many other things to worry about.

how is your mini pill working out? i stoped taking the seasonique. I have always had problems with b/c causing depression for some reason. Well after about 2 wks on this b/c i started feeling really depressed and couldnt stop crying for no reason. well now i am off it almost a wk and i'm doing SOO much better. I am on my period now though

I have to wiggle to seat too. But if I don't do it asap she gets too worked up and nothing will calm her until we start moving again. It kinda gets frustrating when you're by yourself.

Little Abby has at as well! my other 2 had it as well, Just wash with water. it takes a little bit for it to clear up. I think it bother us more then them. With my other 2 people would tell me to put brest milk on it, DONT do anything to it it will go away faster if you just keep it clean. xoxo

my baby has the acne also. my husbands sisters kids all had a face load of them and they went away around 6 months. i guess they are at their peak around 2-4 months. my daughter gabriela has them also and it sucks! i want to pick at them but know that will only make them worse and can possibly lead to infection. i try and wash her face with warm water 3 times a day like they say. i know how you feel but soon they will be gone.

Good thing I checked with the public health nurse...she said that the pill can lower your milk production anwhere from 20-40% wow. She did say the mini pill is safer, but higher risks for side effects. She suggested other methods of birth control. I da know.

We have swaddled him since day 1 so I know it works..... how much are you feeding her? He seems to always be hungry. I'm going to try the white noise and hot pad. Thank you

Thanks girl, I feel like I'm at my wits end with him. He is the same way. It's really hard because he was doing really good for like 4 days and then bam, back to up every two hours..... and he's always fussy/crying it seems like. I just cried with him last night, I feel like a bad mom because I can't make him happy, or I feel like I must be doing something wrong for him to not be on a schedule or at least not cry for a bit. It's really relieving to hear other moms are going throgh it too. I'm going to look for that book.... thank you for giving me peace of mind that I'm not the only one.

I really love it. It prob will sound weird but it really isn't any harder to me with the 3 versues the one. She is the most work obviously. the other two just play together quit well and watch their shows......dora..deigo..backyardigans you'll see that soon enough and memorize the shows! my hubby helps out a lot he does dinner and we both help with bath time..they are both in bed by 730-8 then we have the rest of the night. Lil mama goes to be by 10 or so and she is sleeping really well until 530-6 which is when we get up for work anyhow. Oh and I am so proud tatiyana my 1yr and 9mth year old is almost potty trainned! two nights without peeing in her pamper and she goes all day!! I am just so tickled my son was almost 3 but boys are hardeR.. WELL ENOUGH RAMBLEING HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

Thanks for the info. You think I would have thought to ask these questions when I was there, but assumed there would be no issues if he didn't mention it. He does know I am breast feeding, but I would have to bring it to his attention specifically for him to discuss "possible" side effects. He pisses me off that way. I had to bring lot's of things up to him throughout my pregnancy not the other way around. I see the public health nurses weekly at a breast feeding clinic I attend so I will discuss it with them tomorrow before taking it. I do go longer than 6 hrs; my daughter sleeps an 8 hour stretch at night now.

Glad to hear the book is working for you. I haven't picked it up yet, but I sure will. Shayla is finally feeding more reasonably! 30-40 mins every 2-3 hours. This seems like a breeze compared to what she was doing. She still has fussy days, but it isn't everyday so maybe the 6 week mark is the turning point. We'll see.

Aww Yea, Maddie has good days and bad.But it does seem like she cries off and on all day. No matter what I do! I am glad I am not the only one out there like this (not glad that someone else has to go through it though!) I was going to buy happiest baby on the block, I didnt know how well it was, so let me know if it actually works!
Look at all the hair your daughter has! She is gorgeous!!!

a few yrs i was on zoloft, then a few yrs lexapro, now celexa. celexa and lexapro are basically the same thing. no side effects at all. thats sooooooooooooooo weird that ur teeth chattered!!! lol! i never got that! good luck on it. its a great pill:)

I would not be too concerned about her weight shes not that big. My son was born at 9.9 and dropped to 9.1 and was at 11 lbs at his 4 week appt and he wasnt 4 weeks yet lol. He gained a pound and 9 oz in two weeks. Every baby is different. My son is feeding the same as your daughter every 3 hours sometimes less for as long as he wants.

I had my daughter on April 21st and she weighed 8lbs 6oz I had her weighed almost 2 weeks ago and she weighed 10 lbs and 4 oz. I am sure she is close to 11 now she eats all the time.
