About My Pregnancy

I have a beautiful 8 year girl. Also, I miscarried at the end of August 2007 at 11 weeks 4 days. I found out I was pregnant when I was 4 days late, I took a home test and it was instant....was funny I told my boyfriend how weird it was because I thought we were for sure Prego and it says not! My boyfriend laughed at me because I read the test wrong it was a definite positive LOL.

This pregnancy was planned. We were trying again after we m/s...didn’t expect it to happen so quick...I had a month and half off from being prego LOL.... My first reaction was “Not pregnant...sad....”, “oh yes 2 lines means positive...YEAH!” My boyfriend and daughter were with me when we found out. Our parents were excited but nervous at the same time when we told them. My first symptoms was swore boobs and extreme sleepiness.

My original due date was August 10^th, 2008 but since has been changed to August 17^th, 2008. We have picked out names already. If it is a girl we have picked Bianca, if a boy we have picked Alexandre.

So far I have gained 2 pounds (at 14 weeks pregnant). I lost 9 lbs in January, gained 11 lbs in February. So as of February I was up 2 lbs. I do have stretch marks but they are from my previous pregnancy. I have felt little bubbles here and there since about 15 weeks.

So i made it to 9 weeks. Since we lost our baby in September at 11 weeks 5 days....i dont think i will feel safe until i pass that day by atleast a few weeks. I have been prety crampy lately but everything i read says it is normal...it is almost like a stomach ache. My nausea has left but my boobs are still sore and i started to have discharge (TMI). Im hoping everything is ok as i have real strange dreams about losing this baby. I want it sooooo bad. Today i have been having some sharp pains down below. WEIRD. I have a dr appointment today and hoping all is good. Will see? Anyone else have same type of symptoms??????

UPDATE January 10,2008

YES< YES< YES all is good. I had my U/S at 2:30 today and saw my little baby...the heart beat was strong... i think...the technician didnt tell me what it was but i saw it popping in and out of chest...kinda like a cartoon. AHHHH well atleast i can rest a little easier knowing that all is fine at this point,. I know that things can still go wrong but im happy for the moment.

DREAMS

Man my dreams have been so vivid and real...i can still remeber all of them. The other day i dreamt of my man cheating on me at a party we were both at and it was sooo real...i woke up and was soooooo bothered by it all day....i know he isnt cheatig on me but it was so weird and to make it stranger i saw the girl that was in the dream at work...i work at a college and she is a student here...how weird is that...and then last night i dreamt that i was right about the same length pregnant (10 wks) and i was at grocery store and went into labour. The babys head was out of me and they put me on the conveyer belt that the groceries go on and the cashier delivered my baby. The baby came out african american (im white and so is dad) throughout the dream the baby lightened to white. My dream was centered around the fact that i ahdnt had a baby shower or bought anything so i had nothing for the baby. It was sooooo weird but the baby was so cute and i can actuallyu still feel what it felt like to hold her and breastfeed. You think any of these dreams mean anything?

UPDATE January 30,2008

Man this pain willnot go away...day 3...When i sneeze it seriuosly feels like something inside my left side of abdomen is going to tear....OUCH! Heres hoping its just growing pain or torn ligament or something non life threatning to the babes....

UPDATE February 1,2008

Had my u/s today....phewf all is well. It was so funny the baby was upside down most of the time hiding from us so we couldnt get a good picture. The after the babes flipped a few times we got some pictures. 2 hands, 2 legs, all the toes LOL. Near the end we started laughing so much..the baby was talking to us...you can see the jaw going up and down soooo funny. Feeling alot less stressed out things. The technician couldnt see anything where my pains have been but she said i should mention to my doctor at the next appointment. Im just happy to know that my baby is okay.

UPDATE February 26th,2008

Man its been awile since i updated. So i am either 15 weeks 2 days or 16 weeks 2 days lol. At my last dr appointment he said that the ultrasound showed e being a week behind what we originally thought. So instead of my August 10th due date i would be due August 17th???? He said he would call me and let me know LOL! As for my feelings they are all over...i feel sooooo extremely fat but just in the belly LOL....ive grown alot but i still worry everyday that something is wrong.....every pain, cramp, upset stomach i think something is worng.....Im working on it LOL....My goal is that when i get my next u/s whenever that is....if all is good i am refusing to think of anything bad and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy!!!! My bf is starting to reallly come to the realization of having a baby...dont gert me wrong he has beeen soooo excited but now that he sees me belly growing he gets all gidddy....so cute! I so want to start shopping...tell me the sex lol! I eat everything and enjoy alll....i have so far gained technically 2 lbs. At my appointment on January 7th, i lost 9 lbs...On my next one February 20th...i gained 11 lbs...so i am up 2 lbs....not bad....hoping it doesnt get too crazy....with my daughter i gained 65 lbs arg. So i am down to 3 or 4 smokes a day and i love it and hate it at the same time...My quit date is this friday...ooo wish me luck! Well thats it for now as i am work and i guess i should work...Keep you all posted. I am going to add some belly pictures later as i have grown so much since my last one!

UPDATE March 11th,2008

So...i am officially a worry wart. Even though i am 17 weeks i still think that something is wrong in there. I havent heard the heartbeat since my 12 week u/s as my dr doesnt have a doppler and i have to wait until my ob appointment. I do feel the baby once in awhile but then i worry that it is just gas LOL! My belly is bigger but for some reason i swear that my uterus hasnt moved at all since like 12-14 weeks...maybe im not feeling it right or maybe i am ligit with my worries. My boobs are not as soar.....my nipples are sensitive to the cold though! I get the odd stomach ache...normal backaches and have an increase in discharge...i was told allll of this is normal.... What do i do to not worry as much. A doppler would take too long to order but i can get a fetal stethescope quiclky...i dont want to get just yet as they say 20 weeks you can hear it with that....Im thinking of getting one on the weekend...ill be 18 weeks then maybe i might get lucky???? Anyways need to vent my worries....I hate this feeling sooo much...Will i ever feel safe? Could there be something wrong with my baby and me not know this long????grrrrr.
