IT'S A GIRL!!!

Hey my name is Brittany and i recently got engaged to my loving,caring, amazing, sweet boyfriend Matthew on March 29, 2008. Matthew and I are expecting a baby girl on September 7th 2008 and she will be named Julianna Paige. We have an apartment together and it so nice to be on our own. I know that Matthew is going to be a good daddy because he is just so sweet and really cares more about others then him self<3 Her room theme is a light pink but its not even close to being finished and i hope its ready on time!

Wow time flys when you bussy! Today I am 27 weeks 2 days, and baby has been moving and kicking up a storm. Me and Matthew have been moving stuff into our new place witch is really exciting. We will not be able to totally move in for a little bit b/c we need to paint and I can't be around the fumes. So on Sunday I had gotten really sick at work. The cook made me french toast and little sausages (so good) and then 10 min later I had gotten a huge head ache then started throwing up. But all i had to do was stay standing and i felt alot better. It was so wierd b/c i havent gotten sick in SO long and it was like dissapointing to get that sick like I usto earlier on in the pregnancy. On thursday I have my glucose test and im really happy that Matthew is able to come. He is so supportive I just love him so much! People are starting to notice that I am pregnant now and its wierd b/c no one ever said anything to me before. When me and my mom were getting plates this lady @ the check out was like "so, do you know the sex" I was like "huh" Haha it cought me off gaurd b/c i was so use to people not noticing!

Monday, 23 June

Wow i haven't written in a bit but i am 29 wks 1 day... YAY almost 30 weeks! My Dr. Appt went really well. Julianna's heartbeat was 145bpm and Im going back this week b/c now i go every two weeks! I Hope my glucose levels are ok, that orange drink was SOO yummy, i asked for more and the nurses laughed at me cuz most women think its gross. I think it tastes like a orange freeze pop (minus the frozen part) and let me tell you I LOVE FREEZE POPS. My cravings include obv freeze pops (i have four every day), mashed potatos, and CAKE! Oh yea and i really like butterfingers, the little mini ones you can just pop in your mouth, there so handy and delicious! So every single day i have been going to our new place w/ matthew and fixing it up. It looks so good, on Wed the carpet comes in and then we start to move in!! Julianna's room is so cute so far! It's like a light pink and pokadot theme. When it's set up (hopfully this week) i wll post pictures. Just a couple of days ago i started to get that dark line that runs down your stomach (i for get what its called) and my belly button has fully poped out! I feel like shamoo now!

Well I had my Dr.s appt on thursday and my glucose levels are perfect so i was really happy to hear that! My Dr. also told me that i have been doing really well, like a model patient because all my levels and my blood pressure and hemoglobin are all perfect. Babys heartbeat was 145 bpm and shes deff been moving around alot now! She likes to stick her foot into my belly button and it kinda hurts alittle. Also i have trouble breathing witch is so uncomftrable. I make matt rub my tummy all the time b/c it just feels so good, its very relaxing for me plus he likes doing it. Its so cute when he talks to her, he lays his head down and starts talking baby talk to her haha its really cute! Are carpet comes in this Wed. and im really excited! I cant wait to get my home set up! Also matts mom came back from montana from a business trip and got the cutiest baby booties! There likght pink and made by this native american man who hand made them! There so cute and shes going to look so cute in them!

Wednesday, 9 July

So things have been going really good, me and matt are all moved in to our new place and its starting to feel like home. We worked so hard on it, it feels good to know that all that work payed off. My back aches have been getting so bad, some of the time I physically can not walk or stand im in so much pain, but i guess thats the price that i have to pay! Well Matt has gotten into the Union and is starting in 2 weeks @ his new job! It really exciting because there is a goo future for him now. He is going to have to go to school every 3 months for a week in Rochester, witch wont be bad but i hope he doesent have to go beginning of September (when Julianna's due). Thats what i am most worried about! My next Dr. appt is this Friday..just a routine one, i hope everything goes well and i havent gained like a zillion more pounds! I hate the fact that my bathroom scale is 5 lbs less then the Dr.s. But i always go by my home scale anyways..haha! ;o)

So me and Matthew just moved into our new place and it is so nice! I love it living on our own but now im like a super neat freek, i cean all the time our place is spotless! So i have to update my page now through blogs becuase we do not have internet acess at our new place yet and my work computer is wierd and wont let me update the actual page. Ok so far everything has been going well, but the other day i had to go to the Dr. because i was bleeding a little bit. He said that i was bleeding because of sex and i can not have anymore sex till after the babies born. I was a little upset but there are always other things that me and Matthew can do to...express our love haha. I know its for the best though and i do not want to do anything that could cause early labor, even though i am very tired of being pregnant! I am glad that the bleeding wasent anything more serious. So now i have been getting pains in my upper back as well as my usual lower back pains and let me tell you, it is REALLY not fun. I was in the car yesterday and all of the sudden the pain was unbarable. Matthew had to pull over and rub my upper back witch felt really good but the pain felt like it lasted forever! I am so self concious about my weight now becuase i feel like even the maternity tops just make me look fat, not pregnant. My legs are getting bigger to, now i can fit into maternity jeans! I also got some shorts with elastic waste-bands and they are so nice they fit me great.
