Hey my name is Brittany and i recently got engaged to my loving,caring, amazing, sweet boyfriend Matthew on March 29, 2008. We just had our baby girl named Julianna Paige on September 5th 2008. She is the best thing that has ever happend to me. Julianna is the sweetest little girl, she hardly ever crys and is really good sleeping at night. She is so cute and cuddly, i call her my little birdie!!

Thursday, 11 September

Today was Julianna's first weigh in since the hospital. She was 7lbs 10oz when she was born and was 7lbs 2 oz when she left the hospital. Her weigh in was great shes bak up and now weighs 7lbs 9oz! The doctor said that she is feeding really well and she also pooped while we were there and they said that it looked perfect..yay! The only thing is since im breast feeding she had a little yeast on her tounge so they gave me a perscription for Nystatin so that would clear up. She is getting better at sleeping through the night..last night i got 4 hours...yay haha. I stay up at night and have matt sleep upstairs (my choice) b/c i dont want him to fall asleep on the job b/c he works construction and is high up on scafolds. But when he comes home its all about her. He is so sweet and cares about her so much. Im so lucky to have him there i couldent do it w/o him. Oh yea on Thursday i had a tempature of 100.7 so i had to go to the doctor. But i was fine just a little anemic so they gave me iron pills to take. Also i found out i lost 20lbs...already! I was excited and happy. They say that breast feeding helps you loose weight an thats one of the reasons i am almost down to my normal size.

Thursday, 25 September

Today was Julianna's 2 week check-up and shes a little weed! She has gained so much weight she is now up to 8lbs 7 oz! The dictor was amazed that a breast feed baby gaine so much weight since birth! She just takes after her father and eats alot! She is doing well with sleeping through the night. She goes to bed around 10 or 11 wakes up around 4 am and eats then goes back to sleep till 9-930. Its nice but i know tonight she will be up b.c she slept all day long. Im also doing well haha. I can fit into my pants but i still cant button them up! The only pants that fit me do not fit my thighs at all so I still need to wear my pant expander thingy witch is fine b.c i am use to it. I finally went to the mall to day and got a couple of tops size small! Yay the last time i was a small was 9 months ago! Also the nice part about breast feeding is it helps you loose weight so my stomach is smaller yet my boobs are bigger then they have ever been lol!!

Wednesday, 8 October

Julianna has been growing so much since she was born and eats like a champ! She is now one month 3 days old and is getting more alert to things. For some reason noise soothes her. When i have the blowdryer on it makes her fall asleep and as soon as i turn it of she is up! Also watching T.V soothes her as well she just stares at it and watches the pictures. Now i dont do that all day! I read her books and put colorful toysin front of her she is begining to smile to witch is so cute! As for me i need to loose 10 more lbs then im down to my desired weight! Im trying hard but its taking a wile b/c im breastfeeding and i need the extra calories but im eating really healthy, no junk food.
