well im 22 and have a lovely husband called Paul who i have been with for 5 years and we got married in October last year so there is a good chance that this one might arrive on our anniversary lol. we have a beautiful little boy called Jake whos 3 and we are expecting another little boy who we are going to call Ryan Stephen francis Brookes. The midwifes have said that hes gonna be a big baby which i kind of expect because Jake was 62cm long and weighed 8"10. We live in Newton Manchester England and have lived here all our lives and Jake is going to start nursery in September so i can have a bit of a rest before Ryan is born. I have been having contractions too, and didn't realize it. Discovered that yesterday, and got 2 shots of something to stop it. Are you still having contractions? Mine haven't stopped, just spread out a bit...

Oh I really didnt know about the hot water bottle. So what do you do with that put it between your legs? Yeah I have ran out of ideas too. Just putting up with the pain is all I can do I know we don't have a lot of time left but it does seem like forever. Good luck

Hey Brooke I have did the pillow in between in leg thing it worked for awhile and then it didn't so I havent tried it in a couple of weeks now so I might go back and try again, at least I will be able to get a couple nights sleep thanks for the reminder and good luck

hey hey! Well.... Lee Evans was absolutley amazing! He was fantastic - i literally cannot describe how good he was but im sure you know what i mean!
He was on for 3 hours and was trying out new material on us before he gets on with his tour this year - he was fab!!
He sang a song at the end, AND he did the bohemian rhapsody which had me in STICHES. Ive seen him do it on the DVD and it is hilarious!
He was such a wkd sport - he came back on and spoke to the audience for a little bit too and came down and was shaking ppls hands and then threw his towel into the audience. God i had such a fabulous night - im buzzing today! haha :-)

I am having the same pain in my hips and thighs. It got so bad that it was almost impossible for me to lay on my sides. And if I even tried to lay on my back then I would start contrating or I couldnt breathe. LOL They now even hurt when I walk or even just sitting down. So what are you doing to help yours? My doctor said hot bath's and I've done it not working. Heating pad done it not working. Nothing seems to be any advise

Thank you, I needed to hear that. He's a really good guy and I guess I am kind of shocked at how he's reacting. I expected him to be really excited but instead I feel like I'm doing this alone. I'm sure you're right and I just hope he comes around. Thanks again.

God, i know what you mean about the midwife, im on my 2nd pregnancy, saw the midwife at 20wks, have appt on 14/08, have had 2 scans and THATS IT!!! and they go nuts if you want an unassisted pregnancy but thats virtually what we are having! problem is, people train to be midwife and work private/abroad cos they get treated better

Hey, when i went to the midwife a few weeks ago she measured my uterus and said it ws pretty much under my boobs, and she said that was good so im taking her word for it!! He kicks me a lot at night now, more than during the day. i figure it because im active during the day and it relaxes him. I think your fine, dont worry x
