Birth Story
Well I went to the Doctor on Monday August 13th and found out that I was a big nothing for the 2nd week in a row as far as dilating so went home sad and feeling like it was going to never happen ......so on Wednesday morning @ 3:30 AM I woke up in pain .....which then made me think that this is time because I never had the pain wake me up before so I went to the bathroom and I was a little bloody but I have been since my doctor checked me on Monday as I was setting there I was having contraction come in my lower area which was way different from BH contraction I was having for weeks so I woke up Dustin and said I think it is time .......I called the hospital they called my doctor he told me to head in and the will see if it the real thing ...so we loaded are kids up and drop them off at Grammies and headed to the hospital by now it is 4:00 AM as we were driving I was timing them and they were coming every 3 mins for about 45 seconds to 1 min. we got there at 4:20 and I got changed hook up to monitors and the nurse checked me and I was 7 centimeters dilated it was coming so fast they called in the nurses to set up and called the doctor and told him to get here ASAP ...the nurses couldn't get my IV in as they were trying my water broke then the pain was bad about 2 contraction later I had to push about 1/2 hour later he was born @ 5:48 weighing 9lbs 12 1/2 oz and 22 inches long and he is just a perfect addition to my family and it was all worth it :) Farren Kennedy Arthur Rahn

Hey u! thats awesome about the quick delivery.. im really hopping for that this time.. it was 24 LONG hours with Brandon. Im 3 days overdue now and still dont feel anything. I have been having bad Braxton hicks contractions but thats bout it. Im hoping that i have him soon cuz i cant go anywhere with my swollen feet!! Hope u are doing well.. talk to u soon!

WOW! Congrats hun! Im so happy for u! How was the delivery? (like any other im sure hey lol) Wow 9 pounder! Im betting mine will be around there too. I wish he would decided to come already. Thank you for your comment! I cant throw their artwork away! I dont keep all (or most) of their paintings, but I do keep several throughout the year to show how they have progressed and just use them as the background page. It adds a nice touch to the album! So you have had tons of braxton hicks and have not dilated at all??? Does not normally happen to you? I have been having a ton as well and I am hoping I made some progress since last week. I will find out today. I think I will cry it every thing has stayed the same. I will let you know!!

Nothing changed?? Have you had many contractions? I have been flooded with them!! It just seems since last Tuesday my body doesn't want to do anything else but contract. Maybe I will get lucky and he will send me to the hosptial tomorrow. I hope I could be that lucky!!!

Brya**Thanks I am glad I could add a little humor in your life. I try to add some in mine every day. We are getting close. It could actually be any day now CRAZY!!! So if your guess is correct you only have 7 more days. My husband thinks maybe I should change mine. NOPE I am will keep it for the 12th. Who knows maybe I will be right. Have you made any progress yet??? I go back to the doctors next wednesday I KNOW THERE HAS BEEN SOME CHANGES DOWN YONDER!!!!!!!! Can't wait to hear them expressed vocally by the doc.
