Today we found out that we are having a girl, we are going to call her Poppy Jane. The name means so much to us and words can never explain how much we want her in our lives & love her with all our hearts.

I have a cerclauge in place & i have also been given a date for that to be removed (05.10.08) 36 weeks, after that Poppy Jane can arrive anytime, so i thought i'd find out what Madam Zaritska had to say.......

After a labor lasting approximately 2 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and will be 20-1/2 inches long. This child will have green eyes and be completely bald.

But there is more. Although you may feel tired, your pregnancy will be over before you are truly ready to let go of having this precious baby you have all to yourself. I sense that you will look back and long for these days. I suggest doing something now to preserve some memories of this time. Many women enjoy making a belly cast. Perhaps you would be interested, too.

So first day of week 13, I am so excited to be here even with all we still need to go through. I have an NT scan on monday, am working at an exhibition for my company Tues, Wed, & Thurs then on the following Tuesday I have a cerclage fitted. Hopefully once the ceclage is fitted i can stop being such a worry wart. I still havn't told many people about baby. Want to tell everyone. That will come soon i'm sure.*************

Well to day is my daughters birthday she's 17 & i feel old!!!! Today is also my 1st midwife app. Hopefully she has a boppler i am so eager to hear/know anything about my baby. I had a m/c last may at 16 weeks so am so anxious & pre natal care here leaves a lot to be desired!!!!

We are doing good He is getting so big so fast, i don't want to blink. Poppy will come, I didn't go into labor either but i did dialate right off when they took the stitch out i was at a two, then they started the poticin but my bp was up.

Thank you i no i have calm down an put it in gods hands now it was just a lil worry some cause the way the Dr. reacted so it make me worry but i have heard some very positive advise an keeping in mind that god is more powerful then any Dr. so i just keep praying an knowing that everything is good she has a strong heart beat an is usually very active well that last few days it seems a lil harder for her cause less room but i feel she is fine but thank u alots.

Thats good that she helps you out,albeit for bribery hahaha.
I am expecting it to be a lot of work but I dont see how how nappies really can be biodegradable so I'm going to give cloth a go.
When will this be over and I be a Mum?!?!? hahaha.

Just thought I'd let you know I had the most amazing day ever today!! Went for scan and everything is great, although she is in a posterior position, my consultant is happy to let me go to term and try for a natural birth!

Plus, whilst I was in the waiting area at hospital, I got a call about the house to let me know that day of handover is this thursday!!! I'm so excited!! Also she said we should be able to get the keys and move in on Monday!! I can't wait!! Finally everything seems to be coming together! So maybe my gorgeous house will be all ready for my new little family afterall!

Feeling so excited but a little nervous too! Can't really believe it's finally all happening!!

This means I've got some serious house shopping to do! lol!

Yup I'm resting. I'm here on the bed with my trusty laptop and Jon & Kate plus eight on the tv. I actually had a nap while watching Bringing Home Baby. I realize I'm ready to be home on bed rest, my body feels so much better. Thankfully I'll be on bed rest from next week for 3 weeks. I think I'll let the doctor extend it till week 28. We'll see. I'm going for a check up on Friday and can't wait!

i forgot to mention. as of my last ultrasound... (1 week n a half ago) the "bubbles" the baby had by his brain are almost completely gone

he had two originally. one disappeared. the other was almost gone.

doc said not to worry things look great!

I am hoping I have my baby a little early. I don't want to go over my due date. I am doing well, just a uncomforable with this big belly in the way! I am getting anxious. I want to meet this little person inside me! Take care of yourself and little Poppy :)

Doing good I am always more tired on the weekends, the kids have soccer most of the day on Saturday and then we had a big family function for my parents anniversary, today we have been cleaning the house sorting things for good will and packing up the 4th bedroom we turned into an office this summer so we can now turn it into a nursery. I'm ready for Monday when my husband goes to work and I can sneek in a nap. Hehehe! So what is Madame Zaritska's reading that I saw on your web site? How are you doing? You are so close to the end!!

Excellent, brave girl. She will come when she is reeady, thats the part that scares me. I'm cleaning like a crazy woman and want this place sterile before i bring her home. I hope she doesnt spoil me plans ha ha ha. I'm resting and cleaning, I do a bit and then sit down for a bit. You know how things dont get done if you ask someone else to do them (men).
I would love to get a cleaner to come through and do it all but i think i will get a cleaner once she is born so i dont have to do that much. My friend wants to help me and get something big and i thought a nappy service since i'm using cloth but a cleaner would be better

we're ok, I had a scare last night. I got a bit of pink/orange discharge when i wiped and instantly went to bed. It cleared up right away. i stayed off my feet all day today and i'm going to do the same tomorrow just to be certain that i don't push myself. i can't wait to reach 28 weeks so i can feel a little more secure.

Glad it went well! You're a free woman now! We are doing well. I have a growth scan on Tuesday and then hopefully the stitches will come out the following week. Hope your wait for Poppy isn't toooo long! XO
