FEB 2- Maya is 4 days old and I think the poor girl has her days and nights mixed up!! She sleeps all day and then wakes up at midnight and stays up until 6am!! I didn't think a newborn could be up for such a long period of time. She wants to be held too. She will let you put her down for 10 mins or so but then starts to whine!! Geez when does that routine thing start to happen

FEB 7- The hospital called yesterday and said I had to bring Maya back foranother PKU test b/c the sample they took was not good. I hope there is nothing wrong and they just need to redo it and not that the need to re test b/c they think there is a problem! Gosh..the worryng is starting already. She is such a good baby, she hardly ever fusses and she is starting to sleep longer through the night. I just give her her bath and keep her up in the evening a bit longer so she has her "awake" time then!!

MARCH 26- Long time, but been very busy! Maya is almost two months old and I can;t believe how fast time goes by! She is an awesome baby..She hardly ever cries and she is already going 6 hours through the night!! God really blessed me! Now I have to work on getting my drivers licence b/c I feel so trapped in the house all day and night, but I do enjoy being here with her!!!!

MARCH 31- Maya had her immunization shots today and boy did she scream her little heart out.. It actually broke my heart to see them poke her b/c she is so little!! She is up to 10lbs now!! She was born at 6lbs 110z... and she is changing more and more everyday! I love her little smiles she gives me now on a daily basis..it make all we go through worth it!!

APRIL 6- I am so angry today!! UGH MEN. My husband decided to go out last night with his friends which I am totally ok with. But then the man decided not to come last night and just hang out with his buddies all night. So I spent the night worrying about where he was, since he would not answer his cell phone. Sometimes I am so sick and tired of relationships. I can't believe he did that. He claims he was very drunk and passed out on his friends couch. Who does that when they're married??? Without calling.. I dunno..then I find out he blew 200$ playing poker.....Then he has the nerve to tell me this morning that he doesn't feel well...and he can't watch the baby(I had plans). I am ready to EXPLODE..No way sir...I made his ass get up and clean the damn house...UGH

APRIL 9- yes I have relaxed from my last post!! Maya is doin so well. She is very very hungry all the time, she must be going through a growth spurt! But it is so much fun to play with her now. She seems so much more interactive. she will laugh and coo and try to talk back to me when I speak to her. It truly amazes me how much she has grown so fast. I love every minute with her!

APRIL 22- My lawd! That child is soo funny now..And she is addicted to TV already. whenever it is on she actually strains her head to watch it! She loves American Idol ( HAHA) Anyways, Maya is loving her walks we take everyday. The fresh air seems to make her sleep so soundly. I feel bad now b/c I have to start retiring some of her outfits as she is growing out of the 0-3m size. So sad!!! And every morning when we wake up I am guarenteed this big beautiful smile from her...It makes the day start out just right!
