Tuesday, 22 July HA! I know~! Those 3D scans look so crazy!I am sure she's going to be a lot cuter, have you picked out a name yet?
We're naming ours Julia.
That really sucks about the school and work, goes to show you , even those school system really doesn't care about kids, if they did, they would give their mom's time off! Ugh! I am so pissed about this! Yea, $170. Food and gas maybe. That's it. No rent, no utilities, nada. Thank god I am married, I wonder what a single mom would do.
Anyhoot.. nothing we can do about it I guess...
How's your pregnancy going? Aren't your legs killing you by the end of the day?? erin b -
Monday, 21 July That's what I thought. I don't want to actually start to lose weight. I just want to eat healthy and keep the baby weight gain to a minimum. My fiance is furious! He keeps telling me that it's not safe. I'm just trying to get him to understand that I'm not trying to get skinny - just don't want to be big as a house at the end of the pregnancy! Thanks for the input! marsup -
Wednesday, 16 July ps, you guys are a really cute couple! Your going to make one cute baby!! marsup -
Wednesday, 16 July No we don't have a human resource department, we don't have any departments! Just 5 employees and one boss. I called NYS disability. Got all the info, and boy does it suck! It only pays 50% of your weekly pay, AND still it only pays up to $170!! That is total crap! When I go back to work, I am starting off slow with just one day and that's more than $170. One day! It makes me sick.
SOrry to vent on you... I just can't get over it!
I better start saving my pennies> :(
good luck with your baby and thank you for your comment :D Numommy23 -

Wednesday, 25 June OMG!!! I can't believe you were that swollen!! what a description though! I was lmao-I loved the canned hams idea, I can totally relate!!! My swelling has gone down some, and the heat wave has been relieved...How scary for you to have pitted edema though at 17 weeks. I had it with both of my last pregnancies, but I was at 30-35 weeks. We had another super hot bout a month ago, and my wedding ring wouldn't come off, so that was when I bought my "pregnancy ring'...it is awesome! It is a silver band with like a 2 1/2 carat cz!!! Good luck today with your big u/s! Thank you also for your idea with the iron and more fluid. I forgot that if I intake more fluid my water retention goes down. Thank you! Take Care! Tuesday, 24 June That sounds like a good idea. But I agree with you. I think it is a very personal and emotional time and I don't want it to be witnessed by an audience. I know they are my family and keep pushing me but I don't feel comfortable. I have the same Dr. as my sister did and he let five people come in during hers..I still hope your idea works.. ;) that would be the best way out. donwoljakal -
Monday, 23 June Hi.Im in the same position as far as the weight goes.I was first weighed at 14weeks and had put on 16lbs,so since then ive put on another 14 in 6weeks!!.It just seems so unfair.Im still have days when i feel sick,i used to love vegetables but really have no desire to eat them, which worries me because of their vitamins.I also like you eat tons of melon, mango and watery fruits. Not keen on meat or fish, but try to eat one portion a day, without hopefully gagging!. My legs and feet have recently in the last 2 weeks started to swell too.My wedding ring used to be loose but now is wedged on tight.Have to put soap on it to get it off!.Ive noticed today my face seems puffy, such an atractive look!?..Im having the big scan on Wednesday, have you had yours? Do you know or want to know the sex? I want to find out but hubby doesnt. preggers@32 -
Monday, 23 June Good luck on Wednesday!! My big ultrasound is tomorrow but we're not finding the sex out. I just want to know the baby is okay.. We also decided to not register until August but we've already started looking at stuff. We went into BuyBuy Baby this weekend. Holy crap!! It was overwhelming!!! preggers@32 -
Monday, 23 June If you want to know, then you should find out. We're very torn and thats why we don't want to know. Of course, we're curious but we want to be surprised more.
This 'not feeling the baby move' yet is really frustrating me. I'm still feeling what I believe to be the uterus stretching so I'm hoping that is a sign that the pregnancy is going okay ala the baby being okay. I just don't want to be a crazy, worry wart for the next 5 months! Can it just be November already??? lyndsay2619 -
Friday, 20 June Thanks, for the info. I'm glad I'm not alone in this. And yes I feel super sensitive to any comments people make about how I look, especially because I was already big. I am wearing some maternity clothes right now but not all...still able to get away with some of my clothes for now, but not for long I'm sure. And I must say after seeing just one picture of me from yesterday on a canoe trip I took with some co-workers, I would say that I'm showing a bit. I think I just went overboard with the way my grandmother threw out the comment, as if I'm not supposed to gain any weight because I'm already too big in her mind...lesson learned: disregard family comments ha-ha. Thanks again for the support! mamatess -
Friday, 20 June YAY! That's awesome!I was 18-20 pre-preg, and ordered a 2XL pant from Motherhood - too big. (That made me feel good! ha ha!) I'll try O.N. on my next paycheck... jennabean -
Friday, 20 June Thanks, it's so good to hear other people are having the same things happen to them. I have got up this morning and my stomach has suddenly gone massive!! It ached so much yesterday I think that was my womb expanding!! Well it sure has expanded! I know look very pregnant!! Everything is so scary, think you spend the whole 9 months worrying!! It is all worth it though. Hope you are well, stay in touch. xx donwoljakal -
Thursday, 19 June Thanks for your message, its comforting to know that im not alone! Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy. Lets hope our weight slows down a bit because at this rate im sure ill need a forklift to get me to the hospital to give birth !?.. mamatess -
Thursday, 19 June Thanks a lot! Does XXL mean 20-22? phillygirl2 -
Wednesday, 18 June You said oh shit when you saw the plus, I cried for 2 hours in my office and then again when i got home and told my hubby. I feel the same way you do, i am excited about the baby but not the pregnancy and all the changes and all the risks. I am luckily not to the piont of him wanting to play in traffic but he has been a little nerve wrecking but so sweet at the same time. I am sorry that your feet look liked canned hams. will your hubby rub them for you or something, I'm sure he will but does that help? I can't wait to get past this period so that i can feel a little normal again if possible
