Hi all,

I'm sort of new to this. This site has been recommended to me by a friend so I thought I would join.

We are due on 30th May and so far the pregnancy seems to be going well, despite a bleed last week. This is my first (and my partners) and we are loving the experience.

Can't wait to meet the little one now. We know we are having a little boy and his name is Owen Lawrence (after my partners Grandad and mine as we were both really close to our Grandads).

My partner is in the Royal Navy and I was made redundant not so long ago so enjoying time at home now before little Owen arrives. His nursery is all done now, lovingly finished by his Daddy because I got tired.

Hay I'm wondering if you're at the hospital having your baby after reading your post. With Luck anything like mine, probally not tho lol. I just wanted to say that if your contractions are feeling varied , not just one big hardening, then they are at least false labor, not braxton hicks. Full-on contractions during real labor have a wave of intesity, they usually start at the top or the back, and tighten around the sides to the front, and the menstrual cramping likely means there is pressure being out on you cervix, so I bet you're dilating!!! I am so sorry to hear about your awful experience sweetie, I can't begin to imagine how you felt at that moment, I hope everything works out for you. Have you had any kind of therapy about your situation, I know that doesn't take away what happened, but it may help. I hope your baby boy brings you much joy and happiness :-)

im sorry to hear your feeling so down. i know how that could be, id find myself totally bummed at times, all the stress and chaos in my life, but i ve learned how to move around my problems and i just think about my lil boy. he'll be here soon enough and will be in my arms. Just think about your baby we dont have much time left, soon enough youll be a mommy ; )
