hahaha well...I could never teach preschool so we are even!! I really enjoy my high schoolers for the most part...and i completely agree about not having to push myself through the day...I have been exhausted but no morning sickness really...

Yeah ya feel stink aye? I had amnio because the nt scans fluid measurement was 3mm - a lil on the big side made my chances for downs, edwards and patau from1/600 (based just on my age) to 1/86 thats high risk so they recomended amnio. Now I wait for the results to come back neg then we can get on with things.

I am a teacher :) I teach Family and Consumer Sciences to High School students...so I have have had a GREAT summer out...only 2 more weeks though and it's time to go back :(

Hi dear, you mean another baby? Today the answer would be 'no' but I'm sure I'm gonna change my mind. Today I got more tablets, yupiiiiii, hope to feel better this weekend. Could not keep anything down this morning, have just had some cereal and let's wait what is going to happen...everytime I eat I have this hope everything will be fine then...argh...I hate vomiting with all my heart
. I keep telling my hubby I will be smiling when giving birth, I'm tough when it comes to pain but pleeeeeeeeease do not ask me to feel sick, I completely lose my mind. I'll be praying for your doc, s/he needs to have more mercy on his/her heart. I bet it's a guy...that would explaing the lack of sympathy

I was so cracking up when I read your comment! You fainted when you saw the doctor, thats so funny. Im not usually the fainting type my hubby has never seen me faint before I think he thought I was dying Lol. I was really scared I thought the needle would just slip in but he had to really push it and it kept popping out of the amniotic sac, he would push it back in and rotate it, I just couldnt take it! Plus I was really tired cos my babys not sleeping very well at night and my blood pressure was low to begin with, argh yuck! I want a holiday. I worked with kids at kindergarten, I dont know what its like over there but here children with disabilities are integrated with all other children so you dont really teach a class, I worked alongside children. hmm... I think that makes sence??? I didnt tell you I am the only person to ever faint in the middle of an amnio at my hospital. I am SOO embarrased Im thinking about sending a card.

Hey I am a special ed teacher too (havent worked for a few years now though) and I always thought Id be ok with it too. Im sure our babys will be fine. Yeah will know pink or blue for sure when we get the results but because they only got half the amount of fluid they needed (because I fainted - Oops) it could take another 3 weeks.

Hi dear, sorry for my delay but have felt so bad that completely forgot about computer. I suppose we can do nothing but pray...sometimes I feel like praying to die to be honest...can anyone tell me why this happens to only some of us? Does it mean we're gonna have the most beautiful babies? I hope so! I've run out of tablets last Mon and realised I still need them otherwise my life gets soooo miserable, I'll get some more tomo. Hang on there my friend...and let's keep a positive mind that it's gonna be over soon. Take care of this precious baby. Bensmum

Hey.. i am 22 weeks pregnant and i have only gained 7lbs also..i guess im not "normal" either cause i am under the normal weight gain lol!! my dr. isint concerned with my low weight gain cause at my 20 week "big" scan where they measure all the bones and check the organs my baby BOY was developing properly.. and also my mom only gained 15lbs total with me and only 10 with my sister.. i wouldnt worry to much about weight gain as long as the baby is healthy

Hey good luck with your nt scan, try not to worry, just think its not going to change the outcome anyway. I just had amniocentisis this morning and asked the obstetrician to have a look at bubs bits he said you can never tell sex till at least 17 weeks.

mostly 18-20 weeks but some lucky moms find out at16 weeks if it is a boy it's easier to tell. All the girls on here that no earlier than 18 weeks seem to be boys

im sure your scan has to be done before 14 weeks they measure i think fluid behind babies neck and look for abnormalities this is usually accompanied by a blood test

Good to hear from you, I have been great, i find out on the 21st of August the sex of the baby....I have to book in for my down syndrome test and that really worries me...I dont know why the want me to have the blood test, im only 24

So,, court is postponed AGAIN!!!!!I got a message from the attorney's office that my attorney had to have emergency surgery and therefore it is postponed two weeks or so. Can you believe that? WHERE AND HOW am I going to get any money from him? My dad and I are going to their office tomorrow and see what we can do for wage detachment or whatever it is called? I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mad but at the same time, I hope that my attorney is ok...
I will email in a bit.
