LIESL BAILEE IS HERE!!! Born February 7 at 2:56pm

I am having a girl! She is due in just a few weeks. It has been a rough ride and I am just so thankful that she will be coming soon.

January 12, 2008: Update: I went to the Dr's yesterday and I am 1.5 cm dialated and 25% effaced! Hopefully it will be soon, but not before next week, I want her to be full term obviously.

January 18, 2008: Still 1.5 cm dialated and now 50% effaced! Hopefully we are getting close

January 28, 2008: Oh my goodness! I thought I was in labor last night but alas here I am still very preggo and I think my daughter is trying to climb her way back up in my belly. I have feet in my ribs again, go figure. I am 2 cm dialated and 50% effaced as of Friday. The good news is they tell me she will fit through my pelvis just fine and that she is about 7lbs as of now. We shall see.

January 30, 2008: I'm sorry why am I still pregnant? I swear I have had false labor at least three times already if not more. I had false labor for like 12 hours the other day, I even got to four minutes apart after starting at 12, then all of the sudden NOTHING. Then, last night my body suddenly starts contracting every 3 minutes and it hurts quite a bit and then after an hour, oh its nothing. My daughter is silly, I swear she is enjoying throwing Mommy in circles. I know she will come when she is good and ready, but not knowing is pretty scary.

February 1, 2008: Still at 2cm and 50 % effaced....argh we talked a bit about induction but my Dr won't even consider it until I go to at least 40 and half weeks which is fine by me, I want natural birth. Keeping my fingers crossed!

February 6, 2008: Well where to begin? I spent 5 1/2 glorious hours in L&D triage Monday night staring at the ceiling, trying not to pass out from hunger and trying to maintain my sanity and they monitored me to see if I was truly in labor. We thought that this was it, nope sorry still preggo! hehe Anyway I figure my daughter knows more about what she is doing than I do and she will come when she is good and ready. I am dialated to a 3 and still 50%. I have been losing more and more of my mucous plug and let me sum that up in one word...EW seriously its like I have a sinus infection in my nether region. Anyway enough complaining, I should be enjoying my last few days or hours of alone time, but I am at work. Tomorrow is my last day and then I get to sit around and be fat and pregnant!
