WOW 6 weeks I had my first son in Toronto and had a pediatrician pick out weeks before he was born and called him the day I had him and he came the next day to the I called the Doctor the day he was born and took him to the doctors office the following week. |I couldn't imagine waiting 6 weeks.

Thanks, I watched a youtube video and couldn't even finish it, so that was no good, but a LOT of babies have had it done so maybe I can handle it. "sigh" we'll see, it might not be very available here anyway which might end up being our decision maker. I was for sure about it until I saw this video and now I am really unsure!

Wow- Manitoba- is it super cold there? I'm in Ontario, some days mild, some freezing- not much snow. Hope your daughter feels better soon, I hate seeing my little boy sick- I just want him better asap!! Happy Birthday to your daughter, and thanks for saying Hi! Perhaps we'll chat again sometime:)

Thank you for sending this!Our original vet finally called today to apologize.I had faxed a letter on Friday explaining how upset I was.I won't go back but I am hopeful that they might think about things a little more carefully next time.

Thank you everyone for your opinions. Maybe it's because all of our friends and family know them personally that they think it's perfectly acceptable to sue but I agree it's wrong. The doctor did nothing wrong. She had a normal pregnancy, went into labor at 39 weeks and 4 days and only labored for a little over 7 hours before Libby was born. The cord wasn't around her neck and they really aren't sure why she didn't breath on her own right away. Thanks again, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't the only one that though this lawsuit was wrong.

at the very beginning I was sure it was a boy, then slowly converted girl, then had two dreams that it was a girl so was positive, I went to a baby shower yesterday and a women looked at me and said "boy", I still think it's a girl but she made me less confident. Steve thinks it's a boy, I can't wait to find out, I'm tired of saying "it" or "baby" instead of "he" or "she".
