bcalove82 - Friday, 27 January Okay! Thanks! He is a mechanic that is responsible to all the diagnostics and testing for all of the potential problems. He makes sure the mechanic mechanics are doing everything by the book (everything has too be done in a very exact order with nothing left unchecked ) and he rechecks and signs off that the plane if safe. He is also responsible for leading the "tear downs" when they dismantle the planes for storage and makes sure that everything thhat can be resold or used is bagged and sealed and all the throw aways are documented, etc. So pretty much a boss mechanic.
bcalove82 - Friday, 27 January Soory, I couldn't figure out how to reply on the blog. He is an AMT and in Canada he is called an "Aeronautical Engineer" when he has been sent there for a job or two with the company . He likes that better than AMT,Aeronautical Maintainance Technician.
