I'm writing this at the end of my 20th week. I've been through a surreal experience over the last five months but reality has taken over. I am finally starting relax and not worry about my experience with a Subchorionic Hematoma. I'm no longer bleeding, I'm back to work and the baby is fine. My two boys are thrilled that they are going to be big brothers. My five year old tells everyone that we're "getting" a baby this summer. They both talk to my belly everyday. My husband is starting to relax too. It amazes me how each pregnancy can be so different!

The shower went really well. We gots tons of stuff for baby. I feel like we have most of everything we need. When I got to work yesterday, they took me to lunch and had a mini-shower for me there. It was all very nice. How is the swelling?

Hello, I am also a Canadian Mommy (to be) and am also 40. We have the same due date of Aug. 18th. I am having a scheduled c-sect on Aug. 6.
I was wondering how much weight you have gained. I am feeling pretty good but starting to get big now. I think I have gained about 14 lbs total. This is our first baby (tried for a long time and went through Artificial Insem. and fertility drugs) and am curious how I compare to others. Hope your pregnancy is going good.
