Hi all~ my past blogs have been moved to the blog section. All my new posts will be there as well. TTC now and letting nature take it's course, will not think about being pregnant or technically "trying" just trying to be as normal and sane as possible. Good luck to you....

Thursday, 17 April listen, there is no harm in educating yourself on both sides of the vax issue. my son is 6mo. and we have decided to postpone vax. there is a good chance he will get some later. but my belief is that the system is just too delicate at his age...neurosystem, immune system. MOST ailments are quite treatable...some are not. but those are soo rare. i would love to go more into detail...but that would take so long. read that book. i have read a couple of books on the subject. if nothing else, see about spreading out the vax. instead of 4 or 5 at one time, just do 1. we are waiting until our son is 2 and then give him the serious ones, ie: polio....maybe. janekow -
Wednesday, 9 April Hello, I'm just checking in with you to say hello. I hope you're doing well! preggiebelly -
Saturday, 5 April thank you for the message. They did give me just a pill to take. I'm supposed to take it 3 times a day for 3 days. I started it yesterday afternoon and I believe that most everything has already passed. I'm so glad that the worst seems to be behind now. I'm looking forward to resting all weekend with my husband and starting to live life again on Monday. It'll be nice to have some things keeping me busy.
You mentioned that you're moody. I found myself being a little short yesterday but I believe it's a combination of the quick hormone changes and the pain medication that my doctor put me on. I hope you start feeling better. Don't give up on having more babies. It seems a lot of women were successful in conceiving shortly after m/c and are doing well.
Thanks again~ Jamie preggiebelly -
Friday, 4 April Thank you so much for the message. I was given some medicine today... not sure if it's the same thing but sounds similar. It's making me very sick. I took it about 45 minutes ago and I feel terrible. I would love to lay down and sleep some but I'm too scared. I'm hoping to be able to rid the baby on my own so that a D&C isn't' necessary. Because I'm ten weeks along, I'm so afraid of all the bleeding that I'll have to experience. If the medication doesn't work over the weekend- I have the surgery scheduled on Tuesday.
Keep in touch. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. I completely understand, unfortunately- so if you should ever need to talk, please send me a message. Being on here gives me something to do... I'll be checking messages frequently. jamie -
Thursday, 3 April He said it was probably microscopic(doctor), the other concern with not being able to see it was the possibility that it was ectopic. He said today on that you can miscarry from the tube, isnt that strange? I never would have thought that considering I already had one tube removed from an ectopic that nearly killed me. My levels dropped from 275 on friday, all the way down to 40 on monday, so it went really fast. I know youve got to be so sick of needles by now. janekow -
Wednesday, 2 April Hey you! It's sound like you're hanging in there. I'm so sorry you're having to go through what you are. It really sucks listening to the Dr.'s who have no confirmed answer for you and what your body is going through and especially emotionally, they really don't understand how hard and frustrating it is. I'm wondering why they would schedule a D&C for you if they don't see the pregnancy in your uterus. The only reason why I ask that is because, I was given the option on my last/3rd ectopic pregnancy but one of the ER Dr.'s I saw recommended not to, just to prevent scar tissue in my uterus-which may hurt any future pregnancies from attaching to the uterine cavity. I know that's the last thing on your mind-getting preggers again any time soon, but please do consider the future consequences. Please keep me updated as to how your are doing. Just so you know, it usually takes 2-3 weeks maybe a month for HCG levels to go below 5. It really is a long process-NO FUN!
I'm hanging in there. My body is exhausted. I got sick with the flu in January when I was on metho ( I couldn't take any meds or drink wine either) so it took me a month to get better. I got an ear infection which I'm just now getting over. And I'm starting to feel ok. Aunt flow came to visit, the first time since the pregnancy/metho shots. Woodpi doo. My 27th b-day is coming up so I scheduled a massage and facial for myself, took 2 days off work and will be throwing myself a b-day BBQ. Other than that, I have an appointment to see an infertility Dr. on 4/18 and I'm not looking forward to it.
Anyhow, take care and thanks for checking up on me. =) jamie -
Wednesday, 2 April I am dealing with the same excact thing. I went for an u/ and nothing, twice. My levels were slow rising so I knew somthing was wrong. I started bleeding last night really heave and it has continued today. Like a really heavy period. Its so wierd how you go one day being tired and naseous to nothing. Only yesterday I felt SUPER pregnant and today I wake up feeling like my usual self, only on my period. I was a little sad earlier, but now im sad, and angry. I know this is out of my controll but I hate that it had to happen. I am so mad!! Gigglez08 -
Tuesday, 1 Apr I'm sorry for your loss, and i know it sucks to hear, but the 'sad/mad' eventually goes away.Let me know if you want to talk chips -
Sunday, 30 Mar we lost our baby last week at 21 weeks.......the pain is awfull............we are so sorry for your loss!............all I can think of is having another one.........dh says we should wait for the results of the postmortom and bloods in three months.....the midwife said we can start trying as soon as we feel it is right!
god bless misz-cashis-oct08 -
Thursday, 27 Mar when i had my miscarriages my dr.s told me to wait at least 2 months or 2 normal menstrual cycles. hope this helped and good luck! <3 gladek -
Tuesday, 25 Mar The doctor tells you when your body will be physically ready, but only you know when you will be emotionally ready.
I miscarried at 13 weeks in December (too far along for medical management, I had to have a D&C) and know it is hard.
Remember, you don't need to decide right now how long you will wait.
Give yourself some time to think about it. I decided to try again right away, but did not ovulate until last month. Well, here I am pregnant again! So there is hope for pregnancy after M/C. It is nervewracking, but you have to stay positive. I'm sending positive thoughts your way! 19sarah87 -

Friday, 21 Mar Thank you for the encourging words, it's nice to know someone's listening to me whine and vent. Hm, you're taking pills? I never had pills, I had injections, so your experience might be a little different than mine, keep an eye on yourself. Take care of yourself! Have a great weekend and I'll be thinking about you. janekow -
Thursday, 20 Mar Hi again,
When you take metho, it varies. The first hcg draw on the 3 or 4th day, if the hcg is way too high, they'll give you another injection. Sometimes the Dr's have to wait a week before they give you another metho shot to see if you need it or not. Unfortunately, taking metho shots is just a waiting game and it might take up to 1 1/2 month to 2 months to recover.
For me, the 3 different rounds were for 3 different pregnancies. The first pregnancy, I took 2 rounds of metho in a 2 week period because my hcg levels weren't going down quick enough. The 2nd pregnancy I lost my left tube because metho didn't work. The last 3rd pregnany I took one round of metho and it worked so I'm still recovering. I still haven't had my period since my most recent metho shots. I'm sorry you have to go through this. It does suck. It takes time to heal. Hang in there and I wishing you positive thoughts with XO. janekow -
Thursday, 20 Mar I'm sorry to hear you are going through this. I've had 3 metho rounds for 3 different pregnancies in the last year. First round, I bled the next day then for another 2 weeks after that. The third round I bled for 3 1/2 weeks before my hcg went to 0. I had no other complications besides that. Please take care and hang in there. Take a couple days off to re-coup! beachedmom -
Thursday, 20 Mar Hi~I'm so sorry to hear your going through this. It's so sad and very emotional. My situation sounds a bit different than yours...I took a preg test while bleeding, that was after I had my period, What i didn't know was that I was already approx 5 weeks preg. I was given the shot to stop the growth of the pregnancy which was in my tube. After the shot I just kept bleeding for a several more weeks, mild cramping, but I also had headaches and some nausea. Sorry if that doesnt help you, and again I'm so sorry for your loss. *hugs to you* take care gladek -
Wednesday, 19 Mar So you had a 'blighted ovum'? I was diagnosed with one last december, but several weeks later. I was unable to go the pill route, I had a D&C.
As long as the choice you make (medical management, d&C, etc) is YOUR choice, it will be right for you.
And I am proof that this can turn out okay...I got pregnant two months after my micarriage! Karima -
Tuesday, 11 Mar My babys age from LMP was supposed to be 5 wks 3 or 4 days, and when they found him he measured at 6 weeks exactly :) don't worry everything will be okay, he's probably just hiding:) hollyleaf -
