My water broke just before 7am on March 7th. So my husband and i went to the hospital and they put me on patocin (thats probably misspelled) to start the contractions. I really dont remember when the contractions really started to hit, but they first gave me a shot in my IV, cause the lady to do the epridural was busy in a c-section. That shot made me really tired and loopy. When i got my epridural, at first there was blood blocking the line so it was not working, so they had to redo it. I was finally able to start pushing at 12:30am on the 8th. I pushed for almost 3hrs when the dr said i had a choice i could either try a vacuum or have a c-section. I chose to try the vacuum and she came right out at 3:25am.
