Scott, Quinton and I at Disney World Sept '06

Hi Eveyone...I'm back and pregnant again! May 11th
I am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and sooo nervous. I just had a m/c Feb 28th 07 at 9weeks. That's been soo hard on all of us. My son really wants to be a big brother & my bf badly wants to be a father. This time around I want to try and take it easy and not worry as much...but it's so hard not to after what happened. We are extremly excited and i cant wait to be able to tell my son. I had a little spotting last week, but i think it was normal it only lasted 2 days and was really light. My first doctor's appt was on Wed (8th) & I now have my first u/s scheduled for May 25th..only 2 weeks away yeah!
9 weeks 1 day today! June 5th
Well I can now say I have most definetly experienced morning sickness...or rather all day all night sickness LOL. I had my first u/s at 7.5 weeks and I got too see my lil bean and it's heartbeat, I was sooo happy it made me cry! I just wish they would let your partner in to see in the early u/s...damn rules! I had spotted a few times and the last being the day prior to my u/s, sinceeverything looked fine according to the tech I wasn't too worried andit hasn't happened again. I went for my follow up appt with my doc yesterday and it turns out they found a 2 cm (i think he meant 2mm???)hemmorhage (as he put it) & that was the cause of my bleeding. Ok so my doc has an extremely thick accent and I could barely understand what he was saying other than the fact that it could cause me to either lose the baby or it could heal and be fine. Like what kind of response is that??? He didn't tell me to be careful about anything, & he wrote mea requisition for an u/s and hands it to me as i walk out and says here this is for if you bleed again I want you to get this done right away. Gee thanks, thatmakes me feelvery reassured. So if anyone has heard of anything like this please tell me about it, as I am lost right now. That's all I have for now ladies. :)
Oh and it was a 2cm tear....that just seemed so big!
It's a girl!

Jan 16th, 2008
Well I finally got a chance to sit down and update my page. I went in the hospital Jan 10th at 7am to be checked by the doctor. We weren't sure if I was going to be induced that day or not, it was all depending on my blood pressure and protein in my urine (toxiemia). I tested high for both of them again, so the doc said he was going to induce me. I was GBS positive so I had my first dose of medication at 9am and then was given the gel at 11:30am. The gel didn't really start much but a little cramping so they broke my water at 1pm. After that the contractions really kicked in. Dialating was a long process for me just like it was with my first. I finally got my epidural at 7:30pm.....gotta love it! I was 9cm by 11pm, and it seemed as though I was going to stay at that forever! Finally around 1:05am I told the nurse to get the doctor because I needed to push! They told me I had to wait because he wanted to check up on his other patients first. So he finally got there at 1:25am, which I was so mad about because I was trying my hardest not to push even though my body said other wise. Sure enough he said I was fully dialated and let me start pushing. At that point my contractions had slowed to 4-5 mins apart. It was so weird to be making jokes and conversation between pushing, well what else were we going to do with that much time between pushing, lol. it was less then 8 contractions before I pushed her out. Alexia Madison Johnson was born at 1:59am Jan 11th, 08 weighing 6 pds 12 1/2 ounces and was 19". It was a long day, but the reward was sooo worth it. She was so beautiful all I and daddy could do was cry. Now I have my little boy and girl and life is complete.
