Hi! Jacob Edward Gomez was born November 29, 2007 @ 2:03 pm, 22" 7lbs 8oz! My little one remained in my belly for 41 weeks and 3 days!! I got Induced to have a normal delivery but I got a fever of about 103 and his heart beat change.. so I got an emergency c-section.. My baby remained in intensive care for 6 days after birth because he wasn't responding... he didnt cry and he wasn't breathing... He made it though!!! I didn't get to hold my baby for 3 days after his birth.. wasn't even allowed to go see him because I still had the fever!! My husband Eddie took a whole bunch of pictures every days and brought them up to my room. I was discharged from the Hospital Dec. 2 and my baby was discharged Dec. 4!! So on top of the fact that I didnt even hold him at birth... I couldn't bring him home with me! I was so depressed.. But Im just so glad and thankful That he's doing great and he came out of intesive care really really healthy at 7lbs 12oz... and now Dec. 12 he's 8lbs!! 2 Weeks old! I love my baby!!
