My name is Christy and I have been married to my husband Cameron for almost 2 years. We are so thrilled to be pregnant with our first baby and are due around the 30th of October, which just happens to be the same week as our wedding anniversary! We are so excited (and a little nervous too!) :)

June 9th/08: We went for our anatomy u/s today and the baby wanted to show off about everything but the sex!!! So we came home with no news. She did comment that she didn't see any "external plumbing" that was obvious, but she also said time and time again "I just can't get a good look". So we are a little dissapointed, but she said everything else looks good and healthy, so essentially that is all that matters....the heartbeat was 162 this time....156 the last 2 times before that. The little fart had the hiccups during the ultrasound, which was way too cute :)

Aug. 1st/08: I am so excited because daddy actually got to feel the baby move for the first time tonight!!! He seemed pretty excited :) He has decided that he would never feel the baby move, poor guy tried so many times and to no avail....but I know at night the baby usually moves in the same spot, so I asked him to put his hand there and be patient, sure enough I felt it move (but thought I wouldn't ask if he felt it, like I usually do...and he usually says no) and he was like "I think I totally felt that!" So exciting. He said it felt like a little elbow or something. Well we go for another u/s on Aug. 7th, so fingers crossed that we may acutally get a peek at what our little one is this time....can't wait :)

Aug. 8th/08: We had our u/s yesterday and although she said she was reluctant to say for sure the tech thought we were seeing a girl!!! We are so excited :) I ran right out and bought her the cutest little pink shirt and some little jeans with pink trim, so cute!!! My husband is so worried now, cuz there are so many cute things to buy for little girls, he thinks I will spend all of our money hehehe I am not yet confident enough to paint our little ones room, I would like to hear that it's a girl at least once more before I chance that, but excited nonetheless :) We have decided on Abby as her name. I still have Placenta Previa, so it looks like we will being seeing her a little early during a scheduled c-section, but I should know for sure when I see the dr. next week......either way so excited to finally have an idea as to what we are having :)

Aug. 23rd/08: So today is my birthday and I am so excited and looking forward to my birthday present!!! My hubby and my brother-in-law and his wife went together and suprised me with a 3D ultrasound of our little one!!! I am so excited and can't wait to see our little one later today. Hopefully after this we will know for sure that it is a little girl :) Should be pretty obvious with the 3D u/s anyway. I will post pics as soon as we get home!!!
