Well, our little Savannah Banana is 4 months old. Each morning when I pick her up I can't believe how much she has changed since she was born. We have had alot of help from our moms and couldn't be more grateful. The first month was the hardest but each day it's getting alittle easier and more rewarding.

Now, we are getting more sleep and the new things Savannah does on a daily basis are my reason for being. She has discovered her little fingers and toes, she smiles and giggles and loves her reflection in the mirror but most of all she loves to be held. Alex and I were so excited that Savannah pooped last night since she has been having a little trouble. I never thought Alex and I would be discussing baby poo on a Saturday night. Savannah is such a silly girl. She toots alot and cracks up every time. She looks and acts just like her dad.

Since having Savannah in my life, I am learning to pick my battles. Sometimes I still try to fight them all. I now have the remarkable ability to make a song out of anything I see. Also, I can now eat left handed and do anything with one arm.

I'm so blessed to have a sweet, healthy baby girl. We are all growing together and learning to appreciate the true blessings in life. I can say for the first time that I absolutely love my life.

Here's my space ...

No, I don't understand that. Does she eat also? Or just bottle/breast? Does she look healthy? Has she been sick?
Are you petite?
So many things to consider. Bless your heart. I pray everything goes well for her. (and you) I would keep on top of her Dr.

Good question lol! My kids all started eating "regular food" around 4 months so it might be different than what you feed your baby. I usually cook very healthy foods-Tofu, lean ground turkey and chicken, chicken breasts, veggies, lots of fruits etc but we also bbq frequently. Basically we started using more beef and giving her tiny little pieces of seasoned ground beef, the high fat kind, when I would make anything creamy Id use actual cream instead of milk, pasta with lots of butter and cheese, anything with cheese. Stuff like that...And Id offer yogurt to her a lot. That was a favorite of hers back then. Let me kow how it goes but yours could be like mine-Just prone to be on the tiny side!

Read your question post....My daughter has always been very skinny. When she was 1 her dr put her on a high fat diet and told me to encourage her to eat frequently high calorie foods. Well nothing ever changed and now she 5.5 years old and only weighs 31 lbs lol Shes perfectly healthy, just a tiny lil thing! Her brothers 2.5 years old and weights 28 lbs!

Hi there Glad you asked, because upstate NY and NY city are not anything alike, totally different places. Many people who dont live here assume all of NY is big city sky scapers etc etc and upstate isnt the same. NY city is city atmosphere and upstate is rural, county, small cities & towns, completely different atmostphere and for those living in NY state it is how we are able to differenciate which part we live in. :)

Thanks for the comment to my question. I slowly gave it up one feeding at a time. My bb's are now kinda sore, but I was wondering about what happens to your body because I am having some pregnancy symptoms and am getting negative tests. Have you started your period again yet? This is probably tmi but, I have been having cramping since before I really actually started weaning and more fatique, moodiness, recently quite a bit of discharge, and sometimes at night pee a lot. I finally made a doctors appointment for friday to get a blood test and see what they think. Do you think I may be getting my period? Thanks for your help!
