Well, my little Savannah Banana is 8 months old! Wow!

My favorite part of the day is opening Savannah's door first thing in the morning and her face lights up and a smile sweeps her face and life just seems so simple and so wonderul.

Some days I look at her and I'm amazed at how big she is then I take a few steps back and realise how little she is. She is so much fun and the sweetest little girl I've ever met. Savannah is crawling like a champ now, pulling herself up, talking, screaming, feeding herself, very affectionate, independent and has one pearly white tooth.

She'll play on the floor with all her toys for 10 minutes then crawl over to be just to give me a little baby hug and then right back to her toys. She's the reason my heart beats.

I am such a crier since she has been in my life. I cry over commericals, old movies, a sweet saying, a sad story...anything sappy really. I was such a tough girl before or atleast I thought I was.

hummm thats odd... kayley is tall and slim too, my ped did not seem concerned about it.... she gained about 1 pound in the last month more or less. But i think if she is healthy and happy i would not worry- she is just smaller thats all, i hope its nothing to be concerned about

No, that doesn't make any sense. Have you asked the other 7 month moms to send you their babies weights and stuff just to do a comparison. She does seem small for 7 months. Nathan is 15.6 and 26 inches at 4 months. Some kids are just smaller kids but I think maybe at this point I would run her to another pediatrician just to see what they say. If anything just give yourself some peace of mind. I know it's hard but try not to worry. I know it's easy to make yourself sick worrying. She'll probably just be a little peanut. I'm not a doctor but she looks as healthy as can be.-Amy

She looks really good. When Nathan was sick and not gaining weight, he looked it. Skinny, saggy skin, and his face looked funny. She's chubby in all the right places:) If her doc isn't too worried you shouldn't be either. If anything, get a second opinion if it's upsetting you. But, she looks good to me.
