Well not too much longer to go now..I'm 33 weeks at the moment. I had a growth scan yesterday and baby is already weighing 5lb!!! I'm hoping to be induced at 38 weeks providing my cervix is "favourable". Oh and we found out its a BOY! So excited, we already have our little girl so a baby boy is just lovely.

Tuesday, 9 September OMG! I swear we are always in the same boat! lol. My mother -in-law made me feel terrible for bottle feeding! She said it was unnatural! I was so upset that night I actually tried pumping again to see if I could get my milk back. Shawn was so mad! He said not to listen to her she just grew up in a "different time". He assured me that I was doing the right thing by bottle feeding. I think some women just can do it and some women just can't and I don't think there is anything wrong with bottle feeding...:)
I think the pooping is totally normal...unless it's like diarrhea. Then maybe you should call your midwife or doc. My son is a SUPER POOPER! LOL! He probably has 5-6 messy diapers a day...and sometimes more, but my doc assured me it's normal. Just to watch and make sure he is not losing weight or getting dehydrated.
My poor guy had his circumcision yesterday. IT WAS SOO SAD! I don't know how it is where you are but circs seem to be SO contraversial over here. Insurance won't cover them anymore. I guess I just grew up "knowing" that's just "what you do" but it was the saddest thing EVER! His doc also said he has acid reflux! HOW SAD IS THAT!? I have SEVERE acid reflux so I know how miserable it is. It's so scary to be a mom sometimes I swear!

Monday, 8 September Oh hun!!! I totally understand how you feel on the breastfeeding! I was breastfeeding and pumping and then when he was about 1.5 weeks old my engorgement became so bad I literally outgrew my XXXL sports bras OVER NIGHT ( I went from an XL to a XXXL when my milk came in) my ducts were clogged and I had milk clear up into my armpits and colar bone. NOTHING I did would release the milk. I tried EVERYTHING in the book and even some strange suggestions...and nothin...I could even pump my milk out!! It was SOOO painful and myboobs got SO big that my nipples were almost stretched flat so he could latch on at all..( he latched perfect right outta the womb) So he couldn't eat and would cry his heart out and I hurt so bad that I would cry and finally my hubby said he thinks I should stop. He said he hated seeing Tiernan and me miserable because it breaks his heart and it wasn't doing either of us any good. I cried and cried cuz just like you I felt like a failure. I started to bottle feed and everything just seems so much better. His doctor said that it's normal to feel like you failed but that my son got some really good colostrum and nourishment and to feel proud that I gave him that much. I always hear "if you just stick with it it gets better" but for me it just didn't work out that way I planned. The same thing had happened with Keiley and I was for SURE I would be able to do it this time around but alas I couldn't. So do you think you will keep trying or switch to bottle? ashes44 -

Sunday, 7 September Oh man! It's been a minute since I talked to you! With the new baby and the move 300 miles away it's been CRAZY! So how are you feeling these days? How is the new baby and how is your girl taking to him?
My daughter is getting some SERIOUS attitude! You would be amazed. But she is getting better. She is a big help when it comes to her little brother though. She loves him..:) She seems to be okay with me taking care of him but she doesn't like Shawn too. I think with me running a day care and her always being one of the oldest she is used to me having to split my time with little children. But she sure gets mad when Shawn doesn't give her all his attention. It's kinda cute...but frustrating at times! :) LOL! flowergirl0778 -
