Well not too much longer to go now..I'm 33 weeks at the moment. I had a growth scan yesterday and baby is already weighing 5lb!!! I'm hoping to be induced at 38 weeks providing my cervix is "favourable". Oh and we found out its a BOY! So excited, we already have our little girl so a baby boy is just lovely.

Friday, 4 July Holy crap! I just looked at your 2 newest polls pics from 31+4 days and 31+5 days and you look like you dropped so much! lizzie287 -
Thursday, 3 July Hey girl, thanks so much for your comments to my blog. I honestly didn't expect anyone would read it, so the support I've gotten is really making me feel better about having to talk to Ryan tonight about everything. I still feel a little silly, just because I know him and really, I know that there's probably nothing going on and he's just having trouble getting comfy on the couch or something, but to know that everyone else seems to have the same opinion about the ex as I do is comforting.
I saw your post about the baby not moving. When I was 32 weeks I had the exact same problem, only I hadn't felt the baby move AT ALL in 24 hours. I had a mini panic attack and went screaming into the maternity ward. Turns out the baby had just turned in toward my spine and the kicks were just going toward my back and there isn't much back there to sense them. She was moving around like a champ, her heartbeat was really strong and she was happy as can be in there. I wouldn't worry too much, but to be safe it really doesn't hurt to call your hospital and go in for an assessment to ease your mind. That's what they're there for and they really don't mind seein ya. CanadianNat -
Thursday, 3 July haha, so is mine. I find it has a super active phase for like 3 or 4 days and then like a chilled out relaxed stage for like 2 or 3 days. It's funny how they have routine's already. I'm pretty good today...only thing that is bothering me is the heat but I can't do much about that. I woke up this morning to an ungodly smell in my kitchen and I looked under my cupboard to find that the bag of potatoes that I had just got were full of digusting moldiness and other yucky stuff that I won't mention cuz seriously I don't wanna make you throw up...lol. I was almost throwing up as I was cleaning my cupboard out and it actually stained the wood that was underneath it so the smell is still kinda stuck there...ugh...it just is beyond gross. Do you know anything that will help peel that stink out of the wood? Other than that unfortunate event how are you doing today? CanadianNat -
Thursday, 3 July ah, I hate when they don't move around for awhile! Mine is like that today too..very quiet and lazy I guess..lol. I can still feel it's movements every now and then though when I lay my hand on my belly for a bit. They have their good days and bad days to I suppose..must be a tired baby today!! CanadianNat -
Wednesday, 2 July Yes, actually it seems a lot better..(knock on wood) I don't wanna jinx myself..lol. My skin seems to be pretty dry now though from using that cream so I've been putting Aveeno on too to see if it'll help with the dryness. I hope it will stay away and not come back now..how are you today? CanadianNat -
Wednesday, 2 July Oh, gosh I have no idea! I'm hoping at my next appointment on the 8th that my doctor will have it on her file cuz I honestly do not remember what that on call doctor had told me about it...don't remember the name for sure cuz he was soo fast it just went in one ear and out the other. He gave me the steroid cream for it though and today it seems less itchy and way easier to deal with but it could also be cuz I was soo busy today and I wasn't concentrating on it. 7 weeks is a long time to deal with that...you must have been drove mad! PaydensMom -
Tuesday, 1 July ok, I see. I knew Payden had turned head down early so I figured she would too, I just didn't know how early. Thanks for letting me know!! PaydensMom -
Tuesday, 1 July So when you say engaged, you mean the baby is head down and almost ready to come out? I know, that's probably a silly question, but I just want to make sure I understand right. CanadianNat -
Tuesday, 1 July Yes, so I went to the hospital today to get that rash thing checked out. I was sitting there waiting for the on call doctor for a good long time but in the meantime I got to listen to my babies heartbeat and actually see what the heart rate was at so that was awesome. Honestly I can't quite remember the name that the doctor used for what i had but i think he said PERP's? I dunno for sure though..he just gave me a steroid cream for it and I have to put in on twice a day. He never even described to me what it was actually so I have no idea ..I just hope it goes away and soon. You had this at 21 weeks? How long did yours last for? I know with PUPP's it's suppose to last at the minimum of 6 weeks...that is soo awful...I really hope mine doesn't last that long. I'm thinking of going out and buying some cammomile lotion too just so I can put it on in between my two sessions with the steroid cream cuz it's still pretty itchy even when I have this on now... number2intheoven -
Tuesday, 1 July Good luck!!!! You may need a scooter to get around soon though lol...you're all belly though, but you're carrying sooo low. PaydensMom -
Monday, 30 June It could be the baby's head, I didn't think about that. But I didn't think she would be turned down right now. Who knows. If you don't mind, let me know what your midwife says. PaydensMom -
Monday, 30 June Hey, I'm having the same pains you are. I've been wordering if it was normal, because I don't remember having them with my first pregnancy. I'm thinking it might be because I'm carrying low this time and high the first time. I go back to the doctor Wednesday, so I'm going to ask. CanadianNat -
Monday, 30 June oh good for you! That will be fun..yes I agree definitely take your bag just incase. Today I'm going a little crazy. I had soo my trouble trying to sleep last night cuz I'm sore and I have this rash thing on my stomach now that is sooo itchy it's driving me crazy. I HOPE it goes away soon! Trying to get ahold of my doc's just to ask her about it..no luck as of yet though. Hopefully, your doing better then me today. CanadianNat -
Monday, 30 June You guys don't have baby showers there? wow...they would be very helpful to all you preggo girls...I know I'm looking forward to mine if anyone decides to throw me one soon..lol. We still have them here even if we don't know the sex we just buy gender neutral clothes and other things so it's still good. Does your painkillers work right away when you take them before you get out of bed? I haven't washed any baby clothes yet but i'm just waiting until we move to do that stuff. You definitely need to get your hospital bag together soon just in case..you don't want to forget anything if something decides to happen before your ready..lol. I had a great time with my family..it was very much needed. Plus, my sister showed me some of her maternity pics of her last son and read me her pregnancy journal when I was down there so that was nice besides we had a nice long chat about our feelings about pregnancy and men which made me feel better. It was kinda weird cuz our stories were pretty much the same. Anyways, I hope your doing good today and feeling better! take care.:) melissaemma -
Sunday, 29 June thanks for your comment on my latest belly pic. i feel ready to pop - 5 days til my due date but no signs she will be on time whatsoever...am trying to be patient thoughxx lizzie287 -
Sunday, 29 June Oooooh sorry to hear about the pre-eclempsia. A couple weeks ago there was talks of inducing me early or else scheduling a c-section cuz my doctor thought I had a really big baby, but after an ultrasound they discovered the baby is right on target and "it'll be a breeze pushing it out" so she says. Here in BC they only let you go 1 week overdue so at least I know for sure that by July 28th I'll have a baby, but no there's no chance of being induced early or anything. I'm so jealous that you're getting induced at 38 weeks - that would be next week for me!
