oh good for you! That will be fun..yes I agree definitely take your bag just incase. Today I'm going a little crazy. I had soo my trouble trying to sleep last night cuz I'm sore and I have this rash thing on my stomach now that is sooo itchy it's driving me crazy. I HOPE it goes away soon! Trying to get ahold of my doc's just to ask her about it..no luck as of yet though. Hopefully, your doing better then me today.

You guys don't have baby showers there? wow...they would be very helpful to all you preggo girls...I know I'm looking forward to mine if anyone decides to throw me one soon..lol. We still have them here even if we don't know the sex we just buy gender neutral clothes and other things so it's still good. Does your painkillers work right away when you take them before you get out of bed? I haven't washed any baby clothes yet but i'm just waiting until we move to do that stuff. You definitely need to get your hospital bag together soon just in case..you don't want to forget anything if something decides to happen before your ready..lol. I had a great time with my family..it was very much needed. Plus, my sister showed me some of her maternity pics of her last son and read me her pregnancy journal when I was down there so that was nice besides we had a nice long chat about our feelings about pregnancy and men which made me feel better. It was kinda weird cuz our stories were pretty much the same. Anyways, I hope your doing good today and feeling better! take care.:)

Oooooh sorry to hear about the pre-eclempsia. A couple weeks ago there was talks of inducing me early or else scheduling a c-section cuz my doctor thought I had a really big baby, but after an ultrasound they discovered the baby is right on target and "it'll be a breeze pushing it out" so she says. Here in BC they only let you go 1 week overdue so at least I know for sure that by July 28th I'll have a baby, but no there's no chance of being induced early or anything. I'm so jealous that you're getting induced at 38 weeks - that would be next week for me!

Oh I hear ya 100% on the SPD ... It's awful! I'm soooo ready for the baby it's unreal. I swear every time something feels different I get all excited that I'm going into labour soon lol. I really hope she comes at least a little bit early. My mom is on vacation next week so I'm kinda crossing my fingers for that, otherwise she's coming to visit in August when the baby will be a couple weeks old. I'm finding that the closer I get, the bigger I get, the more miserable I get lol. I've got a bit of a sense of humour about it, thank goodness, but I've never wanted anything as badly as I want to get this baby out into the world. Last night I was having Braxton Hicks contractions to beat the band - on the verge of pain with some back cramping to boot - and I was SCREAMING at my belly that unless they were gonna start hurting, I wasn't interested and they could just eff off lol. Ryan was looking at me like I was from Mars.

ugh, grinding?? ouch is all I can say! Poor you..hopefully the medication will work wonders for you. It would certainly be mean if they decided to change their minds about inducing you at 38 weeks when that time came..i would probably get mad but then again it is also probably better to let nature take it's course or try to first. I tried to go to the cheaper stores around here for baby things but I never find anything that I like so I just resort to buying new things. We have a lot of clothes for the baby so far the only major things that I still need to get is the crib,changing table and all that expensive stuff..lol. We are waiting to buy that until after we move so there will be less to move on that day and I don't want it getting scratched!! That would make me mad...lol. Plus, I still never had a baby shower so I'm waiting until after that to buy the rest of the stuff that I never got. I've been buying a lot though..ahh...shopping problem..lol. :)

I know it's completely insane .... 3 more weeks and I have my baby! Ahhhh! The reality is starting to set in - I'm already having a hell of a time sleeping, trying to get comfy and everything, and now we're gonna add a screaming, pooping baby to the insomnia! Gasp!

It's so weird about the food thing eh? I mean, everyone else in my week seems to be complaining that food is turning their stomachs and they have absolutely no desire to eat ... meanwhile here I am with a ravenous appetite, can't get enough food, still craving everything in sight! And it's not even like the baby's dropped or anything ... so weird! How's everything going with you now?

oh, that sounds quite painful! Can you feel it moving around or is it just all the pain that you feel from it? That's not too good..ouch. I can't wait till your scan..it's soo nice to know that you don't have too wait too much longer for baby.
I'm loving the movement..it's so nice but yes I will most likely be sore from it later..lol. I hope you have a good day I'm going to go out and get some fresh air!! ttyl :)

Wow..well they did say that you were 3/5 engaged..that is crazy...that would mean to me that you were a lot furthur on then your due date! Umm.....what does the SPD stand for exactly? I'm still not up with all the pregnancy lingo..lol
It's too bad that you couldn't have your scan today though. It's so crazy how we are both measuring 6 weeks ahead with our belly measurements! By the time you go for your actually scan on the 10th you may not have too much longer to wait for your baby!! Soo exciting..ahh..I can't wait till you go for that now..lol. You don't have to ashamed because you were crying either...hello pregnancy hormones are not that controllable..lol...plus you don't know for sure to be too upset about you not being furthur ahead then you thought..I really think you are quite a bit ahead then you are. Do you actually remember your last period and when it was? It's great that you can just be monitored at home about your pre-eclampsia ..that must be a relief to you. i'm quite happy today cuz my baby is a lot more active and I can actually feel something that feels like a body part I just can't tell for sure what it is..haha...but that makes me feel soo much better!! Anyways..I'm going to go hope everything continues to go great for you :)
