Well it has been a weird amazing journey. My DH and I started TTC in August of 2007 to no avail and that same month diagnoise dwith stage 0 cervical cancer. Good news very treatable with Leep proceedure and some other small proceedures and in January I had a one of my many follow-up paps to my proceedure to make sure my margins were clear. I found out on Jan 17th that I had a clean pap, margins were fantastic and I was given the all clear by my doctor. Well on February the 11th I tested positive and everyone is so excited! We truely believe that it is a 'God thing' and a Blessed everyday!

Monday, 12 May I haven't felt my baby move yet either. don't worry about that at all you really don't start feeling your baby move until 18-20 weeks..some people feel it a little early if they are really tiny but most people confuse feeling their baby with gas...last time i felt my baby move at exactly 20 weeks. I have had several ultrasounds (healthy baby but where i work i have an ultrasound machine) and baby is very active...so they are moving we just cant feel them yet! congrats and best of luck! caseybev -
Wednesday, 7 May Thanks for responding. My doctor played it off really nonchalantly and just breezed past the word incompetent cervix so I didn't think anything of it until I got home and googled it. Don't google incompetent cervix b/c it's just page after page of horror stories about 2nd trimester miscarriage and months of bed rest and premies. I'm not one to call my doctor (I guess I'd rather be a dummy and stew in my own worries) but I decided to and she again reassured me that I don't have an incompetent cervix, they just want to watch me closely. Someone else responded and said that their doctor said it really only matters how much cervix was removed during the leep and if you've had multiple leeps. I think we'll both be totally fine but yes, please keep me updated and I will do the same.

Saturday, 8 Mar Hello there,
Thanx 4 responding to my blog, its great 2 chat 2 someone in the same situation as me. I had cin 111 severe dyskaryosis, which resulted in me undergoing a cone biopsy. However I was treated with Lletz in 2002 for the same problem, but alas it returned in 2007 much worse than it was in 2002.
This time round the problem had reached the stage before cancer, I was told that if I had left it for even 2yrs I would have had cervical cancer. I have 2 see my consultant in may when ill be over 12 weeks pregnant to check the result of the cone biopsy, I pray it worked!!!
my only concern for now is that my cerix is weak, I fear losing the baby because of this.
I have to see a docter in April who will follow my pregnancy, so I shall ask her many questions. I have been referred not only because of my cervical problems but also because of my back problems, what was said to you regarding your cervix? shall you need a stitch in it to strengthen it for later pregnancy? or have they said you have plenty of cervix left to safely carry a baby? sweettj75 -
