Hi, my name is Tina and my husband and I are expecting our first child. I am so glad I came across this site. I am going to enjoy this journey that we are about to take.

Week 7

We went to our first doctor's appointment on Feb. 28th, 2008. Everything went great, we got to see the baby's heartbeat and get a picture of him or her at 7 weeks 2 days.

Week 12

We went to our second doctor's appointment on April 3rd, 2008. The doctor hooked up the doppler to me, so we could hear the baby's heartbeat, but the little one was moving all over the place, so he did a ultrasound and we got a really good picture of our baby posing for us and the heartbeat was going strong at 150.

Week 16

We went to our third doctor's appointment on May 1st, 2008. It was just a regular routine check up. We did actually hear the baby's heartbeat today, which was GREAT. The doctor said that our baby loves to move around. We go back in 4 weeks to do the ultrasound and hopefully find out what we are having.

Week 20

We went to our fourth doctor's appointment today May 29th, 2008. I was supposed to get my ultrasound done today, but the doc said that someone had scratched it out, so now we have to wait 2 more weeks, which sucks! We thought we would know today, but hopefully in two weeks they will have our appointment straight. The heartbeat was 140 today and he or she was moving all over the place.

Week 22

We went to our fifth doctor's appointment today June 12th, 2008. Today was our ultrasound and it showed that we are having a boy! Everything looked really good. His heartbeat was 138. We are naming our little boy Rylan Michael. Rylan kept putting his fist in front of his face and then he was counting his fingers already. I am so glad we were able to find out what the baby was, now I cannot wait to meet Rylan. :)

Week 26

We went to our sixth doctor's appointment today July 10th, 2008. It was a quick visit. We got to hear Rylan's heartbeat and we also met with one of the other doctors, his name was Dr.Stallard and he was great, beside him being a Florida Gator's fan. Doctor said that Rylan was in a good position with his head down for now. So, I guess all of that moment that I thought was his feet has been is head and arms. I guess my son likes to headbang or raise the roof or something! Hopefully he likes to dance. :) I go back a week from Monday for my gestational diabetes test.

Week 28

I had my sugar test done today July 21st and I failed it, which SUCKS, because now I have to take the 3 hour test and hopefully pass that one. I did get to hear Rylan's heartbeat today, which was beating strong at 150 and doc said everything was measuring great. I go back in a week for another sugar test and 2 weeks for my next ob appointment.

Week 29

I had my 3 hour sugar test done today July 30th. They had to take blood 4 different times and I am so glad that is over with. Hopefully I pass this test, so I don't have to worry about any low carb diets or shots. I go back for my regular ob appointment next week. I cannot wait to hear my baby boy's heartbeat. :)

Week 30

We went to our ob appointment today and got to hear Rylan's heartbeat, it was 138 today and my stomach was measuring at 32, which doc said that was normal. :) I got a call from the doctor's office on Tuesday letting me know that I passed my 3 hour sugar test.....thank God....one less thing to worry about. I go back in two weeks, which is two days before my first baby shower. Time is starting to go by too quick.

Week 32

We went to our ob appointment today, August 21st. Not too much to this visit. Rylan's heartbeat was between 140 and 150. Doctor said that he was measuring ahead of time, but he did not say by how much. I go back in two weeks and then maybe every week after that appointment. We are getting excited that time is approaching pretty fast.

Week 34

I went to my doctor's appointment today, September 4th and Rylan is measuring 38 weeks doc said, so now we have to go back Monday for a ultrasound to see if he is really measuring that far ahead. Rylan might come well before his due date. His heartbeat was at 144 today. I cannot wait to see my baby boy Monday.

Week 35

I went to my ultrasound appointment today, September 8th and the doctor said that he is weighing about 6 lbs 11 ounces and he still has 5 weeks until due date. I wouldn't mind if he wanted to come alittle early. :) I don't go back until week 37, hopefully I can make it that long. :)

Week 37

I went to my doctor's appointment today, September 25th and Rylan was measuring 37 weeks today. Doctor said it was because he is making his way down. Rylan's heartbeat was 140 today. Doctor tested me today for Strep B.

Week 38

I went to my doctor's appointment today, September 29th and Rylan was measuring 38 weeks today. My Strep B test came back negative, so one less thing to worry about. Doctor checked to see if I was dilated and he said not hardly, so I guess like a finger tip, oh well, they will check again at my 39 week appointment. I had some cramps last night, I don't know if it was some contractions or gas.....lol. :)

Week 39

I went to my doctor's appointment today, October 6th and Rylan was measuring 39 weeks and his heartbeat was about 130. Doctor said I was between 1 and 2 cm dilated and I think he might have had sweep my membranes and darn if that did not hurt. I go back on Monday for my 40 week exam and hopefully they will let me know when we will evict Rylan if he does not want to come out. Sleeping is starting to get really tough, but every night that goes by is another peaceful night. Time is getting closer, so I guess we will see. Oh yeah, and Wednesday I lost my mucus plug. :)
