I've never been a mommy before! I am loving the journey so far! No morning sickness, boobs are HUGE and heavy! I love pregnancy though! I know everything I'm feeling is for a reason!! I couldn't be happier! My husband and I tried for one month prior to conceiving! I have never been happier!

I found out that I am pregnant on February 10th. I, just on a whim, took a pregnancy test knowing it was still 4 days before I was supposed to miss my period. It turned out positive. My husband was on a hunting trip, so I went to my friend `s house for a second opinion because the line was faint (her husband was hunting with mine). She said, `You `re pregnant! Go get more tests! ` I went out and got 3 more boxes of tests. All turned out positive!! One of her little girls adores my husband and is always giving him things (papers she made at school for him, etc). So we wrapped up the pregnancy test in a little shoe box, put tissue paper in it, and tied a brown polka dotted blue ribbon around the test. Then we wrapped the shoebox in wrapping paper. We had her little girl give it to my husband. He thought it was a Valentine `s present from the little girl! He was shocked to open the box and see a positive pregnancy test instead!! :)Since then I have gone to the doctor and had blood work done and he said, `Your HCG levels are high, you `re definately pregnant! ` I am due October 24! I am so excited!!

My pre-k'ers have been on a "Mrs. Couch for Halloween next year I'm going to be a _______________." I finally told them yesterday that I would have my baby before Halloween gets here! Then they all started offering names for the baby. Here are a few they came up with: Emily Elizabeth, Lizzy, Princess, Susha (came from a VERY creative 5 yr. old), Smily Face, Cason, Jacob, Dalton, Pearl, etc. They were all going through so many names that I had them come up and tell me one at a time what they thought we should name the baby, then I had them draw what it would look like. They had a blast!! I'm laminating their pages and binding them to look back at with our child one of these days! :)
On another exciting note, I go for my dr's visit a week from today!! I can't wait to hear the heartbeat for the first time!!! I can't wait to see my husband's reaction! I'm going to be bawling like a baby!! Time seems like it's standing still though right now while I'm having to wait.
Sunday April 20
I am taking my pre-k'ers to the OKC Zoo on Thursday. Friday the pre-k/k is out of school for pre-k/k pre-enrollment. This promises to be a BUSY week! I'm already looking forward to next weekend; however it's not going to be a bad week though.
I have another dr. appt. on May 8. We'll schedule my ultrasound at that visit! I can't wait! I'm SO ready!

We found the heartbeat with the doppler!! The problem was that I was expecting it to be louder, and I wasn't using lubricant. We found it though! :) I almost cried!! I can hear it all the time now!!! :)

Friday is the BIG day!!! Hopefully our little pumpkin will be cooperating and let us find out if he/she is a boy or girl!! I can't wait!! There's no feeling like this in the world!! I'm SO excited!!

Oh my gosh my back hurts. Could it be because I'm now in a size E bra? Or because our little munchkin isn't getting any smaller? Or is it because my baby bump isn't a bump anymore it's a MOUNTAIN! I'm going tomorrow to Babies R' Us tomorrow to buy a C shaped body pillow! I'm hoping that will help! My hubby is going with me and we're going to register at Babies R' Us tomorrow also!! I'm SUPER excited!
Our little man likes kicking me in the va-jay-jay! I swear he uses it as a trampoline! It is the weirdest feeling! I love it though! I'm glad he's keeping himself entertained in there! :)

Our house is coming along! They're hoping to have the roof done by the end of this week (weather permitting). I can't wait for our house to be done so I can decorate the baby's room! I am SO excited that they're getting it done SO quickly!
Our precious prince loves playing in there! He's so FUN!! I'm feeling WONDERFUL! It's been a fun ride that's for sure! I am LOVING being pregnant!
My in-laws are coming for the 4th of July, so it's going to be a busy week getting ready for their visit! They live 4 1/2 hrs. away, so they're staying for a few days! YAY!

I had another OB appt. yesterday and now I'm down to 2 wk. visits! I'm measuring 32cm at almost 32 wks. My doctor scheduled an ultrasound for Sept. 11th. at 2pm. I'll be 34 wks! I can't believe it! I go for my ultrasound, then I have an OB appt. afterward! At the beginning of this pregnancy I weighed 170 lb. Today I weigh 183 lb. I've only gained 13 lb.!!!!! I'm SO excited! I plan on breastfeeding, so that combined with exercise it will be easy to lose that weight and more. I'm SOOOOOOOO happy!!!!!!! My dr. also made the statement, "It's always so nice to see you because you always have a smile on your face!" After my appointment he shook my husband's hand and gave me a side hug. He told me it had been a LONG day, and that he had been up since 2am delivering a baby and doing an emergency c-section. He looked exhausted! He's a real trooper! I'm glad he's my doctor!
I'm ABSOLUTELY LOVING live!!!!!!

I am sorry to tell you that getting strech marks is genetic and there is nothing that will make them go away. After my first, my belly resembered a tiger. I am embarrassed by them, too. Anyway, they will start to fade to a much calmer ivory, silver color. It takes a LONG time so you will have to be patient. The Palmers Coco Butter will help AFTER the baby is born, (and it really does help) but it doesn't do a darn thing while you are pregnant. Not if you are genetically pre-disposed to get stretch marks. I am even sorrier to tell you that once you get pregnant, again, those stretch marks will turn a light red and you will get a whole new set to mark the passage of your next baby. I honeslty think my belly is going to be one giant stretch mark. I am afraid my stomach will never see the light of day again.

Hi Carrie. I used the Palmers Cocoa Butter faithfully when pregnant with my daughter and still got stretch marks. However, with this pregnancy, I have been using Bio-Oil and haven't seen any new stretch marks so hopefully it is working. I also like the fact that it's an oil so it keeps my tummy smoother feeling all day long. Hope this helps :)

Hi you how are things? Just got back from midwife and got my blood results back. All fantastic, and she was very impressed that my iron levels are still very high!! Baby is still breech and she says she will gie me to 36 weeks, otherwise i may have to have a c section!!! Really dont mind having a c section but dont want to stay in hospital afterwards. How are things going for yourself? xx

Just a little update: who knew getting an appointment would be so difficult. These people have been giving us the run around. My Tricare Prime isn't approved until Oct. 1 which means i have to see a civilian doctor till then, but one doctor I called said they wouldn't do it because it didn't make sense if I was just going to transfer over to a military doctor. Wow- how rude!! But I finally have an appointment September 9. ****Hope you all have a good labor day weekend****

Oh thanks! We were married off Clearwater Beach in FL this past January!...One will defiantly be easier to raise I think. I'd probably go crazy if my kids were close in age. I don't know how some people do it! Keep me posted too. Let me know how the move goes too! How exciting!

no worries! i knew it sounded familiar when you mentioned it... i've used cocoa butter since about 14 weeks and still no stretchmarks - poor circulation and poor skin elasticity runs rampant in my family so i wanted to try and avoid having them too badly...

i would sy your about the same as me, i think wev'e got lovely bumps, im very proud of mine, but it also hurts my feelings when people also say im small, its weird because i was massive with my first girl, but am alot smaller with this lil princess, im starting to wonder if they got the sex wrong, am going to look into getting a private scan just to make sure, we should stick together and just ignore these people and enjoy what time is left. x x

Yeah, sometimes you may plan on one thing and another may happen too. Ya never know! Four is quite a few. I always wanted a brother or sister, but I think my friends were always annoyed by theirs when they were younger. I do remember hearing them yell at them to leave them alone when they were on the phone with me and stuff. I know they are happy they have them now though. I don't ever remember seeing my friends parents struggle, but I think as kids, we never really payed attention to that kind of stuff.

My friends keep telling me just wait, because I'll probably want another in a few years. My husband and I have both agreed this is it though. I guess we'll see too!

I wake up often too during the night. Many times I have trouble falling back asleep so it makes work the next day quite a struggle. I also get the backaches.

I am an only child. I always wished I had a sibling though as I got older. My friends all wished they we me because to them, I got everything and they loved to come over for peace and quiet. I am really close to my parents and have always been, because of it only being me though. We only plan to have the one child together, but my husband has a daughter from a previous marriage. By the time this baby is born she'll be 12 so there will be a pretty big age difference. Technically, our kid won't be an only child, but she'll sort of live her life as one.

That is quite a nightmare that you had!!! I'd dread dealing with all that.

I think you look GREAT! I'm not as big looking as you, so no, I don't think you look too small. But then again, I'm (non-pregnant) a 42DDD, so we have a common issue! I looked in the mirror yesterday and laughed. Called my Mom and said, 'Never in my life did I ever think that my boobs would look relatively small!' We had a chuckle over that one!!!
