Thank you so much and prayers back your way too. Did they ever mention degeneration of the brain tissue causing the hydrocephalus. I swear they just give you a guess on this stuff. We go today and I am a nervous wreck.

Wow, keep me informed on what happens. I wish you the very best. Do you know what his ventricles started out measuring? Sounds like hydrocephalus if his head is getting larger. That means the shunt should work :). Our only fear is our little one has a brain that is not forming so fluid is filling in the spots. We find out tomorrow but we are staying positive and praying. I hope all goes well for you.

at the 19 week ultrasound his left was 10.4mm and right was 9mm. At his 24 week ultrasound his left was 10.4mm and his right was 11mm, by week 29 his left was 10mm and right was 10mm and by week 34ish... his left and right were both at 8mm.
