Hey, my name is Cassy. I got married right out of high school on March 23, 2002 to Sam. On January 15, 2005 we had our first baby. His name is Grant Matthew Cook.

We just found out on the 19th of January that we are pregnant again, we are so happy!! I am due on
October 4, 2008. It seems like forever away but I know it will go fast!! We decided that we are going to find out what we are having with this one, we didn't with our son. So we are really excited about that!!

Valentines Day I will be 7 weeks. So far the everything is going pretty good, a couple of scares at first but had them checked out and the dr. thinks everything will be fine. I go in tomorrow for a check up. I am a little sick to my stomach but not actually getting sick just feel it. Well that is all for now I will keep everyone updated on how things are going!!

Well I went into the Dr.'s and he said he wanted to wait until my March 3 appointment to do an ultrasound. I will be a little over 9 weeks then and they will be able to see the baby's heart beat on the doppler better hopefully without a false reading like last time. So I am kinda looking forward to that only 2 weeks away!! Other than that everything is going just fine.

Well I went to the doctors on Monday, March 3. He said everything seems to be going as it should!! I have an ultra sound scheduled for Tuesday March 11. So I will know more about how the baby is doing when I go for that. He couldn't hear the heart beat but said that this is to be expected since I was only 9 weeks and two days. So that is why I am going for the ultrasound!! I will let everyone know how it goes!!

Well I went in for my ultra sound today and it was all good!! The heart beat was 161 and that is good!! They moved my due date back to September 26!! So that makes me 11 weeks and 4 days not 10 weeks and 3 days!! So that was exciting to know. I will have and ultra sound to find out what I am having somewhere between the second week and the fourth week of May! I can not wait!!! Well that is all for now!! I will keep everyone posted!!

March 19

Well I know they say that I am to early to feel the baby moving but I am telling you that I really felt it move on Monday, then again on Tuesday and today it hasn't stopped. So I am starting to wonder if maybe I am not further along then they think. my first u/s said October 4 my second one said September 26, I guess we will just have to wait and see until the next u/s. I am going to talk to my doctor about it I go in on April 2. Well just thought I would let everyone know how I am doing, please leave a comment and let me know how you are doing!!

April 2

Well I went in for my check up today and everything was good :)! The heart beat was 141 bpm. I go back in on the 30th of this month for my next check up and then we get to make an appointment to hopefully find out the sex of the baby!!! Well that is about it everything has been going pretty good and uneventful!!!!

Well I went into the doctors Monday due to some cramping and a little bleeding. They checked the heart beat and it was 151 bpm so that was really good!! They told me that it was just from my ligaments stretching for the reason I was bleeding. It seems so weird and I am sure some of you are saying well dont you know what that feels like cause I already have a little one, but this pregnancy is way different!! I have never had the pain I have with this one!! This baby sits so low and I am in pain almost every time I move from a position I have been in for more than 5 min. I almost feel like my body is falling apart!! But anyways yesterday (tuesday) I had to go in for a u/a and it all came back good but they called me and told me I have to go in for my rogam ( I'm sure I didn't spell that right) shot because of my crapping, see I have A- blood type and I have to get a shot to make sure that my body doesn't attack that baby since my blood type is negative, if you have positive blood type you don't have to have this shot. So today I will go in for my shot. Then next Tuesday I go in for my regular ob check up and actually get to see my dr. and not someone else!!!! But when I was in there on Monday Dr. Marcus ordered an ultrasound so I go in on May 6 for that, and we are hoping that the baby cooperates and lets us see if it is a boy or a girl!! Well I think that is all for now I will keep you updated with anything else that happens!!

Well I went into the doctors yesterday for my month ob check up. Everything seems to be going really good. The heart beat was 138 so it is back down again. When I was talking to Sam's mom yesterday she said well maybe the heart beat is so different b/c there is 2 in there, lol, she thought is was funny. I think this baby is just trying to confuse us,lol!! I had my 3 part blood test done yesterday also. See my views on this test have changed, when I was pregnant with Grant I thought what is the point in getting the test done cause it didn't matter what it showed I would keep my baby even if it did have something wrong with it, so why worry about it. Well this time I talked to Sam and we both have a different mind set now, we think we would like to know cause then if there is something wrong we want to be able to research it and find out as much as possible on whatever would be wrong and not to mention finding doctors that specialize in the area we would need. We are not expecting to have to do any of this but I would like to be prepared that is all. At the lab they said it would take several days to get the blood test back so I am guessing probably a week or so. I know that God will not give me more than I can handle!!! Well we go in on Tuesday to find out what we are having, and it could not get here fast enough, I will make sure to let you all know when I find out as long as the baby cooperates with us!! Well I went to the doctors today and I am having a boy!!!! We are so excited!! everything was good on the ultrasound and his heart beat was 148. My blood test came back and everything was good!! Just wanted to let everyone know what I am having!!!
