On the 20th,I'm going out to celebrate my first year anniversary with my husband. It's very weird to feel married. I think it will be a blast! Also I start my prenatal classes next week as well. I'm kind of nervous about that. Then couple of weeks look pretty busy with the doctors and stuff. I have an ultrasound on the 22nd so see the baby's full anatomy. Then the next week, I have another ultrasound that I booked privately to find out the baby's gender and to get pictures and video. The I have another check up on the 29th with my doctor. So life has been busy.

Thanks to everyone for there support and loving heart with all there advice.I appreciate it! This is my first child and I have a ton of questions all the time! I never had a lot of younger kids around to learn from. Thanks again!

Friday May 2

Well a lot has gone on since my last write up. I saw the Doctor, she was great. A little blunt but she really knew what she was talking about. I also had my ultrasound and they would not tell me what the gender of the baby was or let me get some pictures. I was disappointed!

So I'm going to a store called BabyMoon and they do pictures and DvD's and I'll get to know the gender. I have my appointment on the 28th of May. So I'll know then. I won my husband over on the names I picked out if it was a boy or a girl. We agreed that the first name was going to be english and the middle names chinese because of both our heritage.

Monday, 17 Mar

Well I find out with my first check up with my new Obgyn. On April 9th. I hope things go well. I have never had a female doctor before. I hope she `s a good one.

Thursday, 20 Mar

I `m getting my first ultrasound on April 14th. I `m so excited. Can `t wait for the pictures. I hope everything is going great and healthy. I `ll keep everyone updated as we go :>

Well good luck! That's a long drive for 4 days. I'm headed to Vancouver about the same time - going to visit my family. I'm super excited!

crystalmooon - Thursday, 24 July
That is a yucky drive!! Make sure you stretch your legs and rotate your ankles and stuff to keep the blood flowing. Are you guys going to try to drive the 15 hours straight or are you going to stop along the way?

Ahhh, be careful with your long road trip! Have you asked your doctor if that is ok? My doc told me that if I have to be in the car longer than an hour I need to get out and walk around for 15 minutes out of ever hour and should not travel over three due to the dangers of blood clotting. But that may be just my doc. Good luck and take care of yourself!

it's just because it's not uour baby. when it's your own things will be so much different. I always feel strange around other people's cause i'm scared i'll do the wrong thing but with my own i also know i'm gonna do a million things wrong but she's mine and it's ok. Don't stress your gonna be a grreat mom and tell ur hubby to relax.

Hi, read your blog on your 4 hour try out. What a good experience for you both even though it was hard on you. Yes, this is what happens to most couples. My husband and I did the same thing and I will tell you from experience, give eachother a lot of room and love. You both are going to be frustrated, tierd, elated and every emotion under the sun. We learned to be extra kind and loving.....and yes, there is more than one way to handle a baby. Your husbands way will be diffrent than yours and that is okay-visa versa. I wish I had to experience what you did. Now you guys knwo that it can be so frustrating.
But.....there is something diffrent and that is your baby will respond much more diffrently than the other. You also will know things about your baby than the other. Your baby responses will trigger reactions that you will know how to handle. It is very cool- the baby will cry and you and your husband will know what to do- esp you because of the mother instinct which is far stronger than your husbands. Take care sweetie- you are doing a great job.

I understand totally...I get it for Mother's Day along with some other stuff in the line. It is a treat! I can say it last longer than the drug store bronzers even after one application. I am white, white so any color lasts on me.

L'Oreal Sublime: It's the best and you can buy it anywhere

sharra - Tuesday, 15 July
Origins at Macy's or Nordstroms. The have one for the face and body. Both good, they don't turn you orange. Pricy though, but worth it.

yeah i have the same thing i think i pee a little but it's not pee. it's normal but not a fun part of pregnancy!!!

mama33 - Saturday, 5 July
I have been very gloppy (sorry) since about week 20. I started wearing panty liners, about 2 times a day. But don't wear Always, they don't breathe all that well and you could get an infection. The other kinds don't stick as well but it's better than getting sick. The smell is not too sexy either, just ask my DH. He hasn't been for a visit down there in quite some time. *sigh* such sacrifices we make for motherhood!! LOL

sarah05 - Saturday, 5 July
fab, many thanks xx

wilsonwilson - Friday, 4 July
Hi, I too find I have a lot of bodily fluid downstairs and I too have to change my underwear and the smell isn't smelly in fact quite pleasant sorry tmi. I am not sure why and will be talking it over with my midwife next week x

sharra - Friday, 4 July
Hi, yes, I agree with mommy2beinoct. I had the problem with my first and it was only pee and discharge. I have a slight problem with this one. It is easy to tell if it is your amnotic fluid- they use a ph strip to test discharge and off you go. But, do check in with doc. Good luck sweetie! If you find out it is pee. Use Poise Pads- the smallest liner works the best for our situation and it controls oder.

mommy2beinoct - Friday, 4 July
I would check with your doctor. My Babys dad's mom also had the same problem when she had her second son and just thought it was her not being able to hold her pee but it ended up being her amnotic fluid slowly leaking and she ended up delivering early, and it sounds close to the same symtoms. Its probably nothing but its better to make sure then to not know at all. Good luck!!

Bangel - Friday, 4 July
I just started week 25, and the discharge has increased so much. Its quite annoying! I haven't asked my doc about it, but thought it was normal from everything I've read.

mama33 - Thursday, 3 July
I read somewhere about B vitamins helping with acne during pregnancy. I think it might have been B6 but maybe B12. You should look into it! I got back-acne (bacne) but since no one sees there I am just letting it go. Good luck!
