Hi!
My name is Cate and I am pregnant with our 4th baby girl, she is due to make an appearance around June 9th and we can't wait.
We already have Hannah (6), Phoebe (3) and Martha (1). I know it is going to be hard work having 3 little ones but at least they will be great friends (I hope) and always have each other to play with.

3.2 hours ago I have not had an internal either, i have no idea if i'm progressing at all! I could be 3cm and have no idea! I dont know when i'll find out either. Dont get me wrong, i'm not complaining about not having my OB's hand up there feeling around, but it would be nice to know if i'm anywhere close! mariela14 -
4 hours ago Why in the world wouldn't you see your midwife until June 9?? What if you go before that? polingn -

30.9 hours ago Hi,
I am all for doing what is best for your family in this, and yet for us, I wanted to consider home birth for my 1st. My hubby felt way uncomfortable with it, so we never have. I have been very thankful many times to be in a hospital. I won't bore you with the reasons why but I know it was best, for us. I hope that helps...just my experience. I have friends who do it at home-one has had 5 at home. lisat -
44.4 hours ago I am in the US. Some things seem to be much more relaxed here than there, but at the same time some things seem better there.
Funny story for you...
After my sister had her second one, the drs gave her a hard time about getting her tubes tied. She looked at the dr and said that's fine, but I am going to my lawyer to draw up papers that says your going to support it if I have another one, because I sure can't! LOL Needless to say, she got her tubes tied after her second child. lisat -
46 hours ago I told my dr that I wanted my tubes tied, and he asked if I was certain. I said I was, and they gave me the papers to sign. My drs are usually really awesome about any decisions that I make. They tell me the consequences, but let me do whatever I want. I like it that way. fristtimemama -

Sunday, 18 May LOL, it does make me wonder what they really know! Have you had the same midwife for all your pregnancies? Well, anyway... Congrats and good luck!!! Take care! mariela14 -
Saturday, 17 May Yep...Carlos Matthew. : ) We're pretty excited. We picked it out as soon as we found out it was a boy. mariela14 -
Friday, 16 May What do you mean is my name sorted?? mariela14 -
Friday, 16 May Maisie Lynn? Maybe every day I'll leave a new suggestion on your page. : ) mariela14 -
Friday, 16 May hahaha...i guess so...i never thought of that! : P mplsmama -
Friday, 16 May How funny, Maisie is our #1 choice for a girl's name! If we have a girl, she will be Maisie Pauline. Not that I think that even goes so well together, but Pauline is my middle name, my mother's name, g'ma's, etc... it goes back many generations & I'd probably be shunned from the family if I didn't use it! :} mariela14 -
Thursday, 15 May Maisie is cute, but she has to have a unique middle name to go with it...Maisie Bell? Idk...just throwing something out there. lol. prego1018 -
Thursday, 15 May Whoa! You better go in fast! How many weeks did you go with all of them? prego1018 -
Wednesday, 14 May So, did you go in when contractions got intense? prego1018 -
Wednesday, 14 May Yeah, I have never had back pain in my life until a few days ago. It was pretty bad for 24 hours, then went away all of a sudden, then came back later last night with stomach contractions. I know they say if contractions are closer then 5 minutes come in, if there are so many an hour, come in. I am getting that, but it always ends up going away. I am REALLY not going in until my water breaks, or I want to rip my husbands head off because the pain is so bad. So, I'm just going to say that it's the practice contractions, which I think is stupid. Why does there need to be all this "practice" ?! I never liked practice! prego1018 -
Wednesday, 14 May Back pain: Uhh, YEAH! It almost feels like I pinched some nerves. It comes and goes, and when it "comes" , it's bad. It will actually bring tears to my eyes. I got an 85 minute pre natal massage yesterday with the best massuese I have ever had. Back pain is still there. I'm almost 100% sure my baby is facing forward which caused your back to hurt more so than normal. I feel hand movements really low in the front and the ultrasound only showed 2 arms, so I'm pretty sure he is head down facing my belly button.
I also get a little nervous about this being back labor. Don't think it is and refuse to go into the hospital unless I have some serious contractions that make me want to scream. I'm not one for being sent home. A little to lazy to make an unnecassary trip.
Hope your back feels better! mariela14 -
Wednesday, 14 May It's true! Mine does too. It was funny-last night I was standing in the kitchen and I just looked down at my belly and he wasn't moving or anything but one side of my belly was bulging out and the other side was just normal. lol. I don't know if he was stickin his butt out at me or what but it was kinda funny. mariela14 -
Wednesday, 14 May and punches... mariela14 -
Wednesday, 14 May My baby hasn't really slowed down either. He has his quieter days but there have been a few days the past week where he just doesn't stop. He's going crazy down there and just kicks and kicks and kicks! sticker -
Saturday, 10 May They take the baby for two hours after birth just for observation. You get to keep the baby in your room afterwards. catsa79 -

Wednesday, 7 May OH my best helps for labor besides the epidural at the end of my last (: , have been hot showers and being as relaxed as possible. I think that's part of what happened with the last one-I trust that the Lord had His perfect plan. HOwever I think I allowed a couple too many people in there, AND my midwife quit work a few months before AND the OB they sent I didn't know at all.....don't know how I could have controlled any of that, maybe more prayerful and focused on the right things...also the nurse I had at first was on my nerves...maybe I should have had someone ask for a new one??? I just couldn't breathe and relax as I had with other babies. WE tried different positions, etc and were headed for C section b/c of the way she was positioned even tho I was almost fully dilated. Hope that's not more info than you care to have....I expect this one to be pretty smooth sailing as others were , relatively.
