First few days home:

July 21- First day home. ((Finally))

July 22- Weight Check at DR: 4 lbs 8 oz (he was around 4 lbs 6 oz when we left the hospital)

July 25- Weight Check at DR: 5 lbs (half a pound in a few days.. woo hoo!)

July 29- Weight Check at DR: 5 lbs 8 oz

August 8- Weight Check at home: 6 lbs 8 oz (wow! getting big.)

Friday, November 23- The day after Thanksgiving I took 5 pregnancy tests and they were all a strong and clear POSITIVE!

Monday, December 03, 2007: 1st Prenatal Appointment: Nick researched DRs and found one that was voted one of the top Ob/Gyn DRs in the US in 2006, who was also at the hospital we wanted to got to. At our first visit I had all the blood work and physical check up done. He performed an U/S, at the time he explained that he could see the sac but he couldn't 100% confirm my pregnancy. This made my heart drop. I have never really had regular periods so before I became pregnant I had been recently diagnosted with hypothyroidism. So, since my periods were irregular we couldn't figure out exactly how far along I was. But he figured I was about 5 weeks or so. Next, we were scheduled for another U/S, when he could confirm my pregnancy. It was going to be a LONG two weeks.

Monday, December 17th, 2007: Ultrasound: 7 weeks 6 days: This appointment was the most nerve wrecking but exciting so far. I had another U/S and very clearly we saw our little bean! The heartbeat was nice and strong! The U/S tech gave us an estimated due date of August 1st and told us that our baby was about 13 mm. Our DR came in and congratulated us! It was an awesome early Christmas gift!

Monday, January 14, 2008: 2nd Prenatal Appt: 10 weeks 6 days: I was hoping to hear our baby's heart beat but we did another ultrasound instead! He or She was bouncing around like crazy! Our "Big Ultrasound" is scheduled for March 10th.. so we have to decide if we want to find out the sex!

Friday, January 23rd, 2008: YAY!! One down!!

Monday, February 11, 2008: 3rd Prenatal Appt: 15 weeks 6 days: We were able to hear our baby's heartbeat today! Everything else is on track. Hope everyone's doing great.

Monday, March 10, 2008: 4th Prenatal Appt and Ultrasound: 19 Weeks 6 days: BIG DAY! We had our ultrasound today and saw our little baby.... who made it very clear that HE IS A BOY!!!! He is 10 oz and 9" long and his heartrate is about 146 bmp. We were also given a new due day of July 30th.. two daya earlier :) Not much, but I'll take it! I hope everyone is doing great and if you're finding out I can wait to hear what you are having!! Take care!

Monday, April 07, 2008: 5th Prenatal Appt: 23 weeks 6 days: Everythings still on track! Jaxon's heartbeat is nice and strong!

Friday, April 25, 2008: 26 weeks 4 days: My back and stomach were hurting a little today so I left work early. I just felt uncomfortable all together. Also, allergies are kicking my butt. SOOO on the way home I was feeling kind of weak :) and decided to treat myself to my favorite sweet tea from Dickey's BBQ. The lady checking me out (who I'm pretty sure was pregnant) gave it to me for free.... she has nooo idea how she made my whole day!

Thursday, May 1, 2008: We moved into our new home today!! I LOVE it! Moving + Pregnancy is not fun but we got moved and unpacked in one day :) Oh and I noticed today...

Monday, May 5, 2008: 6th Prenatal Appt: 27 weeks 6 days: Jaxon's heart sounds great still! Glucose test results came back and everything is fine, but my iron is low so I need to start taking some supplements.

Thursday, June 19, 2008: 8th Prenatal Appt: 34 weeks 2 days: Everything went great! Jaxon is head down still and his heart sounded great!

Thursday, July 03, 2008: 9th Prenatal Appt: 36 weeks 3 days: Things are still going strong! Had my GBS Test, ewww.. :) For some reason I was really nervous at the appt, I thought I was going to pass out waiting for my DR maybe because we're getting so close!

Friday, July 11, 2008: 10th Prenatal Appt: 37 weeks 4 days: The Tuesday before this appt. I went in the my DRs office because I wasn't feeling Jaxon move much. They performed a nonstress test but he was sleeping most of the time so they made me drink soda to wake him up. They said he responded well then checked my blood pressure and checked for any dilation. My blood pressure was high and no dilation. DR said I was fine though. So, my appt. on Friday was fine, still no dilation and blood pressure is a little high too. But thankfully, Jaxon's heartsounds great still.

there is nothing new really...just work and very tired lately and I cannot stand this heat!!! it was 101 today...i had the AC on full blast all the way home and i still was miserable...bring on the GA summer!!!

I just had the Group B test on Wed and it was really no big deal. They just take like a cotton swab to your vagina and your butt but it is quick and painless. Wait til the doctor starts to check if you are dilated, that is not a lot of fun.

I just had my GBS on tuesday and I was kind of weird about it but my doc did it really fast and like the others have said its just a long q-tip they swap your vagina (they dont insert it very far just a little) and they go to you butt. But they dont insert it in your butt. Like I said my doc was super fast. Its nothing really. Dont worry about it. Good luck with everything

Hey hun. The strep b test is probably one of the easiest non painful things that you get at the ob. They just do a light swab of the outside of your vagina and your bum that easy!!! I had mine last week and if anything it tickles lol! You will be fine:) Good luck with the pregnancy

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the baseball shower. We had put on the invitations that the theme was baseball and the people that are coming know what a huge fan my husband is. Also, it's a small shower so if they don't get, we'll just tell them we're headed to the ballpark for lunch. LOL

Glad to know I'm not alone!! I get those pains in my hips too when I get up in the morning. Feels like I've been riding a bull, It has to be all the extra weight we're lugging around. Had my pre natal this morning and I gained 12 lbs last month!! Makes 35 all together. We went on a long road trip though, so I'm blaming it on that. Off to buy a bathin suit and totally step up my exercise. Have a great day!!

NO!!!! She was so stubborn. I was there for almost an hour just trying to get some shots of her cute little face. They had me drinking cold water, laying on my side, walking around!! It was funny. The u/s tech even felt bad so is having me go back in 2 weeks for free to add more to my DVD, so hopefully she will be good then. I am going to post pics today so check them out. How did yours go?

haha i have totally been sneaking on my registry to! lol some things that i got so far that i have had sent to me from people who cant come to my shower is my crib bedding, an some decorations that match the crib, an then i got lots of clothes an diapers..., not many people have been buying stuffoff my registry either which is strange to me because my shower is saturday like yours... so idk.. maybe people dont know how to use a registry?! lol i know that my boyfriends step mom got my stoller car seat combo... an then on the 1st im ordering the crib and changing table!! ahhh i cant wait!!! so how do you like the new place?
yes she does get the hicups like 3 times a day literitly lol.. she must really be preacticing her breathing skills! lol

I can't wait to see some pictures!! I have had two little miracles and every aspect of pregnancy still amazes me :) The yawning videos are so neat, I seen one on you tube. My family is doin really well. Everyone is adjusting to the new little one bein around. He fit in perfectly. Its almost like he was always here. :) Its amazing how your life will function the same around the new little one.

LOL I'm in pretty good spirits about too. I just really can't wait for my little guy to get here. I think riding in a car for 6 hours and being in heat played a role in my swollen feet and ankles. The true test will come today since I'm back at work and it's chilly once again here in Rockford,IL.
