hey ive been having a sciatica problem w/ my back & my doc told me to do crunches, leg lifts and a heating pad. also, take some tylenol. hope that helps!

Getting comfortable for sleeping seems to be a constant problem for me too. If I roll onto my back in my sleep, I wake up with a backache. And yeah, what to eat!? But my little girl is also very active, which is great (if sometimes uncomfortable). Moan groan!! But really, all is going well and most of the time I'm quite content.

I think it's nice if hubby can choose Baby's name. You get such intimacy with the baby during pregnancy, and he's kinda left out, but picking a name is an important thing that he can do for her. Although we've always had to negotiate on names, he always gets the final say.


I'm at a nice place in my pregnancy right now. Seem to have figured out how to best avoid the leg cramps and backaches, and mostly I feel pretty good, and happy to be pregnant. Little Penny is kicking to remind me she's okay, too, which is great. It's so nice to know she's a viable baby already and just getting a little more maturity and baby fat ready for her birth!

Hey , the best thing I have found for my heartburn is called DIOVOL its in a liquid form and you can buy it at any pharmacy. Its also 100% safe for pregos :) Hope that helps!!

I've been using Gaviscon and it's working awesome - my heartburn isn't the kind that keeps you up all night or anything tho. My doc gave me a perscription for prilosec (not sure if thats how you spell it) IF it starts to get worse. Hope that helps a bit. xo

Hello! Looking at your week-by-week post, I know some gentle antacids are safe, but avoiding it in the first place is obviously a better option. Try eating small meals 5 or 6 times a day rather than getting really hungry and eating too much at once. Also avoid spicy and greasy food. The worst meal I ate that kept me up all night with heartburn though was bland steamed fish and snow peas, so maybe just watch your diet and see what kinds of food you're more sensitive to and avoid those. I can eat curry or garlic spaghetti and meatballs, but not steamed fish??? Go figure!

Zantac 75 or 150 is safe. I take Prilosec otc. some doctors say it is fine others won't. See if the zantac works for you. If it doesn't ask your doctor about prilosec. I have been taking it ever since I was prago and it has helped when zantac didn't ever touch it. Take care. Eat small meals, no acidic foods, ect.
