My DH and I got our BFP on 2/26. I went to the doctor on 2/29 and it was confirmed with a blood test. Progestrone and HCG levels were where the doctor wanted them. I am a bit scared b/c have been cramping, but doctor said it was ok b/c there is no blood. I go back on 3/31 for first ultrasound!! i will be 9 weeks and hopefully they can confirm my due date! Had my first ultrasound today. Everything looked great per the tech and doctor. The baby's heartbeat was 194. I'm going to frame our baby's first picture tonight when I get home from work. The doctor said that it seemed that I was have a pretty normal/perfect pregnancy. I haven't had m/s. I am tried all the time. I am very excited- not to far to go until the 2nd trimester, I'm 9w4d.

5/2/08

Went to the dr today. Heartbeat was 155. We get to find out what we are having on 5/30! I am so excited and amazed how fast the weeks are going by. No complaints-everything still going great.

5/30/08

Found out that we are having a BOY!! Tech said everything looked great-even a few days ahead on somethings. Heartbeat is 148. Now I can start planning a bit better!

I agree with using the correct terms...I was just raised and am still around parents who use a made up word for penis and vagina. I am not sure why my parents and everyone around feel like they have to make up a name for it. I guess for pronunciation purposes.

I know I think its odd too...thats why I said I do not agree. My pre-pregnancy weight was 140 and I am 5"7...everything on-line says we should have gained between 10-15 pounds now and he says 5 pounds (just his opinion) other then that he really is a great Dr...(I had 2 miscarriages and he was so kind and supportive) I am going to watch my weight but not obbess about it..I got it off last time and I will get it off again! The protein thing seems to be working as my weight has slowed down

Hi there- Well i saw my doctor yesterday. He said i am experiencing muscle pain. He suggested i put hot patches and take tylenol every six hours.. he also recommeded that i get someone to massage my lower back area..Last night i tried to putting on hot patches and it helped a lot. Hopefully, this pain will go away. How are you feeling? Hope all is well! I posted two new u/s pics of my lil man. He is doing great. :)

if i may suggest, its garage sale season. with my daughter i think i speant 100 bucks and came home with clothes until she is 2 years old and its all tommy hilfiger, gar, old navey and such name brand clothes and its beautifyul stuff too!!! i am doing hte same with my son and right now i have stuff up to a year. and most of it is the same. there is also a girl at my play group that wants to swap baby clothes. she has two boys and i have my dd daughter. i have 12 rubbermaid tubs of baby girl clothes to swap. supposedly she is having a girl. in two weeks she will know for sure and on tuesday we find out for sure too! so im super excited!

I also feel it on my hip bone. The pain is horrible! I will let you know what the doc says. Im actually starting a 6 week pregnancy yoga class on July 30th. I hope the pain goes away soon....

Oh goodness Im having the exact same problem when lying on my side! This morning I woke up & felt like an old lady! I had to rub it and lightly punch it for a good 5 minutes before I attempted to get up. I find that doing yoga helps and stretching every day as well. If you haven't tried stretching I highly recommend it.
