HAGEN IS COOING ALL THE TIME NOW!!!!! YAY AND STARTING TO GIGGLE! SO ADORABLE!!!

Wow, hagen is growing soo fast i can hardly believe it!! When i lay him on his belly he will smile soo big, then just roll over. and when i put him on his back....he twists his shoulders and head to where he is laying on his side, hasn't quite rolled over to his tummy yet! he is such a loving baby! We still snuggle at night, he loves being face to face with me! i guess he feels really safe and makes a little sigh and closes his eyes! i am still not working so i get to spend all my days with him. now that it is getting warm outside, we are able to go outside more. josh bought hagen a little jeep stroller its littler and not so big to take everywhere, so we can just put him in it and go..his little feet hang off the end and he likes to kick his feet!! ahah....man, i am soo in love with hagen. he is truly a blessing!! i don't know what my husband and i did to deserve him!....we are looking for a house now...that PERFECT one that we just know we could see ourselfs in. no matter how long it takes. perferably a fixer up, so we can add our own personal touch to it with a big back yard for hagen and the dogs to play in! but a house like that would cost about 170,000. they are soo expensive, i am hoping God places the perfect house in front of us and we are able to recognize that! i just pray that my son will have the best life and future possible wherever we live. i hope you all are doing great, with pregnancy and your babies!!! i love all of you guys!!! :)

Hagen Rolling over for the first time!!! April 6, 2008!!3-20-08

Hagen had his 2 month check up today!!! he got 2 shots and 1 oral medicine! he cried just while he was getting the shots, but as soon as i held him he was happy. i gave him tylenol before so he is in my bed asleep right now!!! he weighed 11 lbs 8 oz. on their scale, which would make him really about 10 lbs 8 oz on a digital scale! he is finally getting little roles on his arms and legs, but not much. he is not 23 inches tall. and is begining to smile everyonce in a while....he eats about 5 or 6 ounces....but he loves to drink about 2 or 3 oz, in between his feedings...hes always eating lol....he will be 9 weeks tomorrow!! yay i love this boy!!

Well as if we hadn't been through enough these past nearly 8 weeks...I went to the next town Odessa to look at a pickup truck...Josh & I are looking to buy a new truck...I drive a Cobalt...which was great when it was just me...going to school & Josh had a single cab truck...which was great when it was just him...we sold his truck last month....Josh has a work truck so that was no biggie...but now w/Josh, me & Hagen...we are needing a larger transportion...so that is why I was in Odessa looking at one they called us to come look at...one of my friends had called me & wanted some help w/her baby & since I was in Odessa I told her I'd come on over once I finished looking at the truck...so on my way to her apartment...I had a wreck...OMG!! I was lost looking for her apt. finally noticed where I needed to be...of course it was lunch time...I tried to change lanes...noticed that the car in that lane was traveling a lot faster than I first thought....tried to get back in my lane but the car riding on my butt...was already trying to pass me in my lane....so I had no where to go...just braced my self for the impact...I was so scared....couldn't get out of my car fast enough...checking on Hagen...I couldn't get Hagen out of his seat fast enough...it was freezing out...I was shaking so bad & crying so hard...I was talking to my husband...he heard the wreck...he knew where I was so he was there in no time...I called my mom...there were ambulances & fire trucks every where....the people that hit me were all okay...not much damage to their turck...one of the head lights...their bumper...my car didn't look bad...but he wheel was bent...so the had to tow my car off...everyone was okay...but by that night I was feeling it...I was so mad at my self...

Today we headed back to Lubbock for Hagens post surgery follow up w/Dr. Goldthrone...Hagen in weighing 9lbs & 110zs...thats a gain of 3lbs & 3ozs since surgery on 2-13-08...his suture line looks great...except one little spot that came up just last night...Dr. Goldthrone said that his body was trying to "spit out a suture"...that was okay...just scrub it w/a wash cloth during his baths...

A week after surgery...we noticed that Hagen's belly button was starting to bulge out...yep...now he has a umbilical herina...my reg. pedi Dr. after looking at it told me that it will resolve it's self after about the age of 2 & not to worry about it...Dr. Goldthorne also said that it was about the size of the tip of her pinky finger & that it will relsolve it's self about the age of 2-3...not to worry about it unless it gets bigger & his reg. pedi Dr. becomes concerened...then just bring him back here & they would take care of it...

After leaving the hospital they told me not to feed him more than 3ozs at one feeding...so I was having to feed him every 1 1/2 to 2 hours ...he was starving for food...at his appointment...the Dr. told me I could feed him what he wants...so yeah...he's eating like a little mad man!! some time up to 5ozs at once...still eating every 2-3 hours...I've started to put a little rice cereal into his bottles...hopeing that will keep him satisfied a little longer but not really working...hahaha...

After surgery when he was eating really well...he was having a hard time pooping...I swear he pooped out a golf ball...he was straining so hard for so long then it came out....I was like Holy Cow!! no way that came out of him!! It rolled out of his diaper on to the pad I was changing him on...I really think thats what gave him a herina...trying to poop!! so I had to give him a oil laxitive & talk about pooping & pooping...He filled up 2 diapers...I never seen so much poop in all my life!! I guess he had some catching up to do...you know...now he poops all the time w/tons of gas...no problem pooping now!!

Well as far as breast feeding...I really think that the stress of everything we went through...took its toll on my body...even w/the electrical breast pump machine...after that first day...my body just stopped making milk...I never became engorged...I just stopped making milk...I had to pump...because I had to measure every thing that he ate that first week...I think my body just protested & shut down...I know weird...but he is doing really good on the soy formula...

Sooo Hagen is home and doing Fabulous!! he came home in the afternoon of the 15th! he is finally gaining weight, and doesn't appear in any pain or anything his incision is already healed the dressing is off and its just a little scar! he is a happy baby, and ALWAYS hungry!!! i am soo proud of him! thank you for everyone who kept him in your prayers, it was such a scary situation!! I was terrified that my little baby was going to have to have this surgery, but there wasn't any way out of it! but i will keep updating. he has a checkup appt with the dr.'s next week to make sure everything looks great! he has only thrown up about 3 or 4 times. but other than that he keeps everything down, which is fabulous!!!!

so on 2-12-08 Hagen had an appointment w/the pedi gastrointerologist...Dr. Fittis in Lubbock...a town about 3 hours from where we live...they took a history & examined him...today Hagen really seem to be weak & not as active as he usually is...I was so thankful we were here & was praying to have answers...they put Hagen on their weight scales...OMG...Hagen weights 6lbs & 8oz...all I could do is cry...the Dr. talked to us about pyloric stenosis...kink in the bowel...food allergies...possible treatments of the mentioned possible problems...they then set Hagen up for an abd. sonogram to rule out pyloric stenosis...went to another building a few blocks over & up...the sonogram went well didn't take very long...Hagen did really good...of course they didn't tell us anything...except that they would page Dr. Fittis w/the results...so we then left & went back to the Dr. office...they quickly had us come back to a room...informed us that Hagen didn't have pyloric stenosis...so no surgery per this point...talk about weight falling off our shoulders...but still stuned that...that wasn't the problem...I was pos. that was what his problem was...they then talked about Hagen having allergies....changing up his diet...starting him on Reglan 3x's a day...but needed to have an upper GI...to rule out a kink in the bowel...so off to yet another building to get the upper GI...w/prescription in hand...I went back w/Hagen for the upper GI...watched his little tummy fill up w/the barium...Hagen last ate at about 5am...but on the way threw it all up....it was now 2pm hadn't had a thing to eat all day...so talk about sucking down the barium...my poor baby...the lady doing the test told me to watch...it would just take a min. to empty the stomach & fill the intestines...so I watched...more than 5 min. but less than 10 min. there was a little trickle...then Hagen threw it all up...he was covered in barium...his face...body...his clothes were soaked...I felt so sorry for him...the lady said...well I guess we are through...thats all we're going to get out of him...so we cleaned him up...changed his clothes...every where I looked he had that white chalky stuff...so we were waiting in the waiting room like Dr. Fittis asked...when a lady came out & told us that...it was okay for us to go...we didn't have to wait...they paged the Dr. & would talk to him...so we decided that we would go get his prescription filled...so that we could start him on it asap...then either call the Dr. or go back to the office before leaving town...my husband, Hagen & myself went in the store...leaving my mom behind to clean up the coke she spilled...we put the prescription in & started walking around looking at things...my mother walks in & says...well Charli you left your phone in the car...Dr. Fittis called...Hagen indeed has...Pyloric Stenosis...I just started crying...I was just getting use to the idea that he didn't have it...I was so scared for my baby...my mom told us that we needed to go straight to the emergency room...the ER Dr. was expecting us...we showed up...they took us back to triage...examined Hagen...took us to an ER...they come in & start explaining what they were fixing to do...they started an IV on him...it took 4 sticks....they drew blood...talk about hard to handle...watching your baby...having to go through all that...just broke our hearts...after the ordeal was over...Hagen threw up a ton more of that barium...all over the place...so they then came in & dropped a nasal gastric tube...to futher empty out his stomach...every thing they did just killed me...the Physican assistant came in...she examined Hagen...took a history...informed us that she heard a heart murmmer...that she was calling in an pedi cardiologist to clear him for surgery...what else can happen??...She then explained all about the surgery they were going to preform & answered all our questions...They were bolusing IV fluids...taking vital signs...when the pedi cardiologist came in...he exam Hagen w/the physican assistant there...he felt that the murmmer was bengin...no need for an echocardiogram or cardiac sono...but def. needs to be followed up in a few weeks after he's recovered from the surgery...which sounded great to us...he really explained all about murmmers drew us pic's...so we were comfortable w/that portion....then the Dr. who was going to preform the surgery came in...Dr. Goldthrone...she exam Hagen...talked to us...explained everything to us...we felt really good about everything at this point...then we sat around waiting on a room...they put Hagen in 108 PICU (pediactric Intensive Care Unit) they had him hooked up to all kinds of monitors...changing his IV fluids...adding electrolytes...gave him a vit. K shot...so sad...but at this piont...so relived that they found out what was wrong w/my baby...these past 2 weeks have been so very hard...knowing something was wrong...but not having any answers...watching him suffer...feeling like I was harressing his pedi DR. & now we are here headed in the right direction w/a plan...so 2-13-08 7am they show up to take my baby to surgery...so many mixed emotions at this point...so scared for him...but knowing this was the road to getting better...my husband & I got to go back to surgery w/Hagen to talk to the anesthiesiologist...at this point Hagen's IV was infiltrated & has to be restarted...they assured us that he would be asleep when they restarted it...so after talking to everyone...we had to leave...so hard to walk away...about an hour his Dr. came out...said...everything went great...it was really large & thick...surgery was the only way it was going to be corrected...that he already woke up but went back to sleep...he would be in recovery room for another hour or so...after an hour he was back in his room 108 PICU...hooked up to all the monitors...I was so happy to see him & so scared at the same time...I love that baby more than life it's self...the nurses were in there every 10 min. doing something or another...they informed me that Hagen could have his first food at 8pm...he did good..lots of monitors & alarms keep going off..but Hagen was doing really good...8pm rolled around...we started to arouse him to get ready to feed him...he threw up...so...we had to hold off feeding him until 9pm...he took the 10ml's he was aloted...but that came back up too...Dr. Goldthorne came by...said she wasn't worried about that at all...that happens...thats why they start him out on little sm. amt. to begin with & for me not to worry....1am was his next feeding of 10ml's...that stayed down...then 6am 10ml's stayed down...10am...26ml's stayed down...now it's 11pm 2-14-08 Hagen is awake...crying...wanting food...holding down 50ml's of breast milk...they weighted him a little while ago...butt naked...he weights 7lbs!!! Hagen gained 8ozs already...he feels so heavy in my arms....to be honest...after the first night before the surgery...post rehydration...he was looking better...stronger...words can't do justice to how I feel...Hagen is my life...please keep praying for us...for Hagen...that he continues to imporve & get stronger...we are still in PICU 108 & hopefully we will be getting to come home soon....he has to be able to take in 60ml's & keep it down before he can come home...he has had one very large bowel movement & passing tons of gas...peeing like a champ!! I'll up date again once we are home!!

today hagen is 1 month old! we went to the dr because he hasn't kept anything down in 2 weeks...and as of last friday he has lost 8 oz. The dr. said he is going to get him in to a gastro something specialist ASAP...so hopefully tomorrow morning i can make the 2 hour drive to this specialist and they can see whats wrong with my baby boy and fix him. i am so sad, but i know that he will be so much better after this gets over with and he is feeling better and can hold the food down that he eats!! Pray for my baby boy!!!!!

After Hagen threw up all night and was not keeping any more food down, i decide to bring him to my hometown to his dr. today! turns out, he has a horribly infected throat which is getting irrated everytime i feed him and it makes him gag, then his GERD kicks in. so a mixture of things. Anyways, i got meds for his throat today, and i am going to continue with his GERD medicine as well! i hope everyone is doing well and keep your babies healthy!

sooo...my baby just started spitting up after every feeding.....my mom talked to the dr. and we got medicine for GERD. i really hope this medicine works, its helped a lot so far, but he is still spitting up. makes me soo sad, but just like everything else, we will get through this!! he doesn't cry still. he is soo perfect...i just wish he was able to keep food down!

As of today, my little boy Hagen is 2 weeks and 3 days old! His belly button fell off last night! So i can finally give him a good warm bath! His Circumcision looks great and it finally almost all the way healed up! He is such the great baby! Hagen doesn't ever cry, he is always soo content. He will scream a bit when you start taking his clothes off because he gets cold. and when you change him diaper because he gets cold. Other than that he is always so happy. Loves his car seat, loves being held, loves snuggling me at night, and he loves his bed. Breastfeeding is going great. I am feeling a lot better now, my episiotomy is still sore, and is healing up pretty good, though i wish it would PLEASE hurry. i have lost a lot of my weight, i just can't wait until i can go running, so i can finally get off the last pudge! MY husband is sooo great with our baby. i am the one who freaks out over everything, and have to ask him what to do. I am so proud of my baby boy! My whole family is in love with him, and just can't get enough! i wish that he wouldn't grow up so fast, because i love just holding him and staring at him all day long. I see his dad everytime i look at him. MY dog izzy llllooooovvvess our baby! she always snuggles up next to him wherever he is at! she thinks she HAS to be by his side. Hagen also has started grabbing my hair. i have been peed on sooo many times, even pooped all over my stomach one time...lol. hes getting a little bigger, but i don't think he has gained too much weight. he hasn't gotten sick yet, and i am praying that he doesn't. None of his clothes really fit him, all the preemie stuff is a littttttle too small, but the newborn clothes are kinda big on him. and all of the 0-3 month clothes absolutely swallow him! and al of his clothes are mostly 0-3 months, so maybe in a month or two he will be able to wear them! i get a lot of sleep at night, because he does't really ever wake up.....i will feed him but he falls asleep eating adn i just snuggle up to him and we go back to sleep. anyways, ill update more later right now i am going to start cookin supper for my husband and I. I hope everyone is doing good and your pregnancy/babys are doing GREAT!!!...

heres some more pics....hagen has slight jaundice..so i m going to take him to the dr. here in a little bit to make sure he is okay!! i feel so much better today than i have the past 2 days. my episiotomy is hurting very bad, but i keep the pain pills in check, and today it is feeling so much better. i was worried that i had an infection or something horribly wrong down there, but its so much better today that i am not so worried about it. my blood count was low after i had the baby, and i feel very tired and light headed today. i am going to tell my dr. that as well and maybe get some iron to help it go back up! my little boy is amazing, and he makes me the happiest ever, hes so perfect!! and he snuggles me at night..i can't stand him being in his own bed beside us. he has to be right with me all the time!

MY BIRTH STORY/ HAGEN JAMES HADLEY 1-11-08 9:31AM...7LBS. 1 OZ. 20 INCH. PERFECT!!!!!! AWWW!!

WOW!!!! WHERE TO START! MY WATER STARTED TO BREAK ON THURSDAY THE 10TH AROUND 11 IN THE MORNING! WHEN MY MOM GOT OFF WORK AROUND 2:30 WE HEADED UP TO THE HOSPITAL TO MAKE SURE IT WAS MY WATER, AND SURE ENOUGH IT WAS! I GOT CHECKED INTO TO A ROOM, AND HOOKED UP TO MONITORS. DR. NAYAK CAME IN AROUND 5 AND TOLD ME THAT I WAS DIALTED TO A 4 AND HE BROKE MORE OF MY WATER, AND TOLD ME WE WOULD PROBABLY HAVE A BABY BY 3 OR 4 IN THE MORNING!..I GOT MY EPIDURAL THEN AS WELL. WELL, THEY CAME TO CHECK ME A FEW MORE TIMES, AND I WASN'T DIALATING MORE. THEY STARTED ME ON SOME PITOCIN I THINK AROUND 9, AND WHEN THEY CHECKED ME AROUND 12 I STILL WASN'T MAKING MUCH PROGRESS. DR. NAYAK CAME IN AROUND 3 AND REALLY STRETCHED ME OUT AND TOLD ME THAT I WAS AT ABOUT AN 8, AND MORE OF MY WATER POURED OUT. I WAS PRETTY DROUSY BECAUSE OF ALL THE MEDS THEY WERE GIVING ME. I JUST REMEMBER THAT AROUND 5 IN THE MORNING I STARTED PUSHING. I PUSHED UNTIL 6 AM, AND NOTHING. THEY BABY WAS NOT MOVING DOWN AT ALL, AND MY EPI WAS RUNNING OUT OF MEDICINE, I WAS CRYING BECAUSE NOTHING WAAS CHANGING AND I FELT I WAS GETTING NO WHERE. I TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR NAP AND STARTED PUSHING AGAIN AT 7AM. I PUSHED FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES THAT TIME. AND THEN I RESTED UNTIL A LITTLE BEFORE 9 AM. DR. NAYAK CAME IN AT 9 TO HELP OUT THIS TIME. I PUSHED FOR A WHILE WITH NOTHING, THE BABYS HEAD WAS NOT GOING DOWN ANY AT ALL..I WAS ALL FOR GIVING UP AND GETTING A C-SECTION I WAS SOO SCARED AND IT HURT SOOOOO BAD, BUT NAYAK TOLD ME I HAD TO PUSH!!! AND MY HUSBAND WAS SUCH A TROOPER, HE LET ME KNOW IT WAS GOING TO BE OKAY AND THAT OUR LITTLE BOY WAS READY TO BE IN THIS WORKD, AND I JUST HAD TO DO EVERYTHING I COULD TO GET HIM HERE!! DR. NAYAK GAVE ME AN EPISIOTOMY, THANK GOODNESS I COULDN'T FEEL THAT! THEN THE GOT OUT A SUCTION AND TRIED TO PUT IT ON HAGENS HEAD. WITH MY NEXT CONTRACTION I PUSHED AS HARD AND I COULD, AND HE PULLED THE SUCTION, BUT IT SLIPPED OFF OF HIS HEAD AND BLOOD WENT FLYING, THIS HAPPENED 3 OTHER TIMES, HAGENS HEAD WAS CONED FROM BEING STUCK IN MY BIRTH CANAL FOR SO LONG, THAT IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A GOOD SUCTION ON HIS HEAD. ABOUT THE 5TH TIME HE STUCK IT ON, AND I PUSHED, AND THE NURSE PUSHING DOWN ON MY STOMACH, HAGEN HEAD FINALLY CAME OUT! AMAZING. THEY SUCTIONED HIM THEN WITH ONE FINAL PUSH HE CAME OUT! MY HUSBAND GOT TO CUT THE CORD, AND IT WAS SUCH A HAPPY FEELING!! THEY RUSHED HIM TO THE SIDE TO CLEAN HIM UP AND MAKE SURE HEW AS OKAY. HE DIDN'T CRY TO MUCH AT FIRST, AND I WAS SOO SCARED. I NEVER DREAMED THAT I WOULD BE PUSHING FOR A TOTAL OF ALMOST 3 HOURS!!! FINALLY AT 9:31 AM HE WAS BORN! HE HAS BRUISES ON HIS LITTLE HEAD FROM THE SUCTION. BUT HE IS STILL SOOO PERFECT. HE HASN'T CRIED MUCH. HE IS ALWAYS SOO CONTENT. HE STAYED THE NIGHT IN MY ROOM THAT FIRST NIGHT, AND HE DIDN'T CRY ONCE. I WOULD WAKE UP PROBABLY EVERY 2 OR 3 HOURS AND MAKE HIM FEED. YES BREASTFEED!!! AND HE IS GETTING THE HANG OF IT SO WELL. HIS GESTATIONAL AGE ENDED UP BEING 36 WEEKS AND 3/4. SO NOT QUITE 37 WEEKS, BUT HE IS SUCH THE PERFECT BABY! I AM SOO PROUD OF HIM. MY HUSBAND AND I CAN NOT STOP HOLDING HIM AND LOVING ON HIM!! WE GOT TO COME HOME THIS AFTERNOON AROUND 2:00 PM. AND WE ARE STAYING AT MY PARENTS HOUSE TILL MONDAY MORNING WHEN WE WILL GO BACK TO OUR HOUSE AND BEGIN OUR NEW LIVES WITH OUR BABY BOY!!!....I AM SOO HAPPY I CAN NOT EVEN EXPLAIN IT.. HE IS MY BABY AND HE WILL BE MINE FOREVER!!!! :):):):):):)!!!!

Stitch Update!!!! 1-10-09

i got to the hospital at around 8....dr. didn't get in till 9...and the stitch took about 5 or 10 minutes to remove...seemed like forever....it hurt soo bad!!! i was crying..lol the lights in the room weren't in the proper position to see inside me to see the stitch, so we had to wait while one of the nurses ran down the hall to grab a huge light. the stich was starting to stretch, and it took the dr a few tuggs to get it out.....omg..never again! haha..anyways...i bleed a lot...well it seemed like a lot. everytime i would walk or go to the bathroom there were blood clots...but now its really starting to slow down. the dr. checked my right after he removed the stich and my cervix immediatly popped open to a 2. i was 70% effaced. i walked for about 15 minutes...ate lunch...and got monitored for about another hour or so...around 12:30 she checked me and no change. despite what all the nurses and my dr. though....NO BABY!!! I was soo sad and dissapointed. i just told them i would go home and go walking and stuff, figured that would help. but i have been having loads of contractions, but hardly any pressure, so i don't feel like i have dialated anymore...i am so sad to think about it becasue i really had my hopes set on him being here yesterday, but NOTHING! me and my mom and hubby and his mom went walking...about 4 miles!...nothing.....took a ride down some bumpy roads with hubby....NOTHING...stair stepper...NOTHING...hot bath..NOTHING..lol...nothing seems to be working..here i am on the 10th at 10:45 still preggers...why?!?!.....the nurse thought i would for sure be back up there last night...but no....probably won't be back for another week or two it seems.lol.....so anyways....no baby..i wish i did and i wish i could send yall pics of him..but..hahaha.....negative!!!...ill update later if anything happens....but i do'nt feel like hes coming anytime soon..ill go walked again later..hopefully now it will stir things up..i wanna see my little man!!!....

SONOGRAM BABY UPDATE- january 4th...36 weeks 3 days!

i had a sonogram today..last one before i have the baby!! he is measuring about 7lbs and 8 oz! i am getting my stitch removed Wednesday the 9th....at 8am. i am sooooo excited! i am hoping that the baby will start coming after that! i hope to have him on the 9th....since 9 is the family number it seems for birthdays! i am so excited i can hardly wait...its only 5 days away!! so i probably won't update again until then!! hope yall girls are all doing good! ill be exactly 37 weeks...my lil boy looks chunky on the sonogram and dr. said he is perfectly healthy!!!....

today i went to my apartment and unloaded all of our christmas presents...and rearanged our babys room...my mom helped me. we went to target and bought diapers, tons of baby wipes, baby medicines, some sheets for the play yard, some onesies, a pad for him to lay on his back on, and a cover for a chair when we go somewhere to eat, some socks.....nursing pads, a nipple protector..lol......diaper cream stuff, and other little stuff like that. it was the first time that i have actually gone shopping for him, and i am so glad that i got to! its starting to feel soo real that he is about to be here! i really hope this week goes by fast. ihave been having a lot of contractions today, but none with pressure so i haven't gone to the dr. i am going to just go to sleep and hopefully they stop. i can not wait to meet my lil boy. we got his car seat from the apt, and i am ready to use it already, i just keep lookin at it! haha. i dont feel too much bigger, but i have a lot of sensitivity on the outside of my stomach, i hate it. my belly has been itching sooo much, and ive been getting little bumps from me scratchin soo much. hopefully i will update later telling when i get my stich out. i really hope its next wednesday at the latest! i can not wait!! woot woot!!!! hope this finds you all doing so well! <3 Charli & Baby Hagen

well...spent sunday through tuesday (16th-18th) in L&D...this makes my 4th trip since week 22...I had been doing just find these last 2 weeks...since my last trip there for a bladder infection & dehydration...on the 16th during the cowboy game I started having contractions...one right after another...then started have low back pain...cramping...lots of pressure...so my mom talked me into going in to L&D...just to make sure I didn't have a bladder infection again....I was just suppose to "pee in a cup" then come home...well...i did "pee in a cup"...they hooked me up to the monitors...had a vag check...which freaked out the L&D nurse (tamera)...from then on it was....IV started...got it on 1 stick...bolus of mag....breathine shot...bolus of fluid...procardia...had to have blood drawn....they blew 2 veins getting it...my good vein for drawing blood is in my lt. arm...but that is the arm they got the IV....then a mag. drip...followed by a sono....cervix is at a 1.6cm...the L&D nurse said that she didn't have to put her hand in very far...felt the stitch...the stitch was stretching....then it was Hagen's head...thats what freaked her out...of course the strong contractions weren't helping the situation...after the sono...they gave me nubain & phenergan IV...to help me rest...no bladder infection & wasn't dehydrated either...they winged me off the mag. monday afternoon...man that stuff makes me feel like crap....it's a muscle relaxant...& relaxes every muscle in your body...not to mention they had to keep drawing my blood to watch my mag. blood level...I look like a IV drug user....burises all over my rt. arm...hahaha....so now i'm at home on strict bed rest...taken mag. every 4 hours & procardia every 6 hours...throwing in trebutaline...when the contractions are more than 10/hr. drinking lots & lots of fluids...had to take a trebutaline today on top of all the other meds...I had 20 contractions in 1 hour...they finally settled down to about 4-5 an hour....ooooh...yeah...forgot to mention...the new addition to every thing....Hagen's head is so low that I've started peeing on my self...I got back to bed after using the bathroom & I felt something wet between my legs....ooooo gross...they did a "fern test" which came back neg....they said my bladder is just leaking under the pressure of his head....what the heck!!...so yeah thats happened a few times now....lucky me....hahaha....my husband & mom took me up there....my mother inlaw & brother inlaw met us up there....I have great support...so it really makes things easier going through all of this....plus everyone at the hospital knows me & I get treated like a princess!! hahaha

Sonogram update!

Sonogram went perfect! He already weighs 4lbs and 10 oz! He getting so big, i am soo happy! He is in the 62%, so he is in the bigger percentile...yay! His eyes were open, so we watched him blink a few times...priceless! then we got to watch his heart beating for a while, and it was at 150, everything looked perfect. hes deffinatly getting chunky is what the dr. said. so i may end up having me a little doughboy! i can't wait. i get my stich out at 37 weeks is what he told me, so hopefully by then he will at least be 7 lbs and i will have him during my 37th week! Dr also was amazed by how big his Scrotum and Pee Pee were. he could not stop saying, WOW look at that! hes got a big scrotum! haha..me my hubby and my mother were laughing so hard, as he was showing us this! a nurse should be coming to my house this next week, and then i go to the dr. at the hospital during my week 34. so i will update after the nurse comes here to check up on me! oh yah, i also only gained 4 lbs since my last dr appt at week 28 i think it was. or 27. so i am now a whopping 152, from 132. YAY
