Sunday, 13 July I am so sorry that you aren't feeling well. I hope you can work out those iron pills to prevent a transfusion but still are able to feel ok! I have been feeling pretty good, just having a hard time eating enough. I have a scan tomorrow and a doc appt on Tuesday so I will see how much the babes have gained and if I have gained any weight (I don't think I have gained much at all the past three weeks). I hope too that I can find out the sex but oh well if we don't. I have been given boys and girls clothes so I am prepared.

Sunday, 13 July Yeah I have dropped, and she was already engaged when I went in for preterm labor four days ago. My cervix was thinning, and my outter cervix was dialated. But I was still closed, but extremely soft... I read a thing today about pre labor vomiting, and I think I am going to call my mid wife... I am trying to hang in there. m0mmyt0b3 -

Saturday, 12 July Hi! My computer is being dumb! I hate that! Thanks for sending me that site on baby weights that was interesting. Its nice to be normal, at least in once sense in all of this! I seriously have the pregnant waddle walk. I think I am still measuring at 37 weeks. I only gained half a pond last time but the babies gained 3pounds. Pretty amazing how this all works! Have a great weekend!!!! :) m0mmyt0b3 -
Saturday, 12 July Hey charlottle, what are you expecting ? hopeful2008 -
Saturday, 12 July Hiya,
yeah i still feel sick too, but like you not so bad, i dont know about you but on the tablets, you know that metal taste of iron, well after taking the tabs, i kept getting that taste repeating on me and it was DREADFUL. i think that more than anything added to the nausea and sickness, but with the spatone, ok so it tastes crap ( a little less crap the more juice you put it with ahahahaha ) but onnce youve taken it and i dont know had a biscuit or something to quickly take the taste away thats it, no more metally taste, and for me thats the great thing about it.
I have to take 2 sachests a day (as recommended by the GP) but in comparrison to the tablets its a small sacrifice, plus i love OJ anyway so its not only helping with the iron absorption its keeping my fluids up too - as a nurse im rubbish at that, always telling my patients to drink drink drink and never manage much myself! They do say we make to worst patients!!! i think its true lol.
How come you 'bought' the spatone anyway, wouldnt your GP or midwife do it on prescription for you??? I'd ask if i were you, save your pennies!
Anyway, keep me posted on how your doing, take care and im glad ive helped you
Chat again soon honey xxxx paulecita -
Friday, 11 July Hi! I was feeling sick when I started taking my iron pills, I've been taking them for over a month, and now I feel better. They don't make me sick anymore. Maybe there's another brand that's better for you. SUE12333 -

Thursday, 10 July Does standing on your head really work??? I mean I have no idea how to get in that postion with my belly soooo big but if it works I might try!! twinstwice -
Thursday, 10 July I read that one of your babes is head up again - is there a possibility still that they will turn head down again or are you getting too big? I haven't had an US for about 5 weeks now but I am pretty sure that mine are still head down - I can feel them pushing on my groin, and I feel little feet kicking my ribs. They try to stretch and their heads will move to the middle of my stomach but that is it! My next US is on Monday so I will find out more then (maybe the sex but from what I have heard it is too crowded at this stage to have a good look - I can't believe we may end up with a surprise!)
My sugars have been good and I don't need medication but it has been nearly impossible to eat enough so now they are considered about my weight gain! Arghhh! Again - we'll see what shows up Monday!
Good luck with your move. Are you packing now and getting stuff ready as much as possible? Remember to continue to take it easy - that is funny isn't it? It is more like we want to do more than we actually can anyways - and how frustrating! I am thrilled to get a single load of laundry and a sink of dishes done. buninoven -
Thursday, 10 July Hi! Oh I am so excited I met a lady about our age that has twins here in town and she said that she had a few things to pass on to another twin mom. She gave me the nurse EZ twin breast feeding pillow, Its awsome. I am so excited I have been looking for a good deal on them and ebay was the best I could find so my hunt is over for that now. Yayyy! She also gave me a double pram for the infant car seats and some matching barely used twin outfits. It is way worth it to find someone in your town to hook up with that has twins!
I hope you are doing ok with the heat. My feet a freakishly huge!
How are you doing with the iron every other day? Is that working?
My belly button is officially out!!!! You are SOOOOOO Lucky you don't have any stretch marks! I think I got all of yours!! Take care!! :) mommy-of-6-little-blessings -
Wednesday, 9 July I don't know how mine are positioned now. Last u/s they were both laying horizontally! I hope the girl turns head down, well both of them. My doc told me they both have to be head down to deliver vaginal, but I am gonna talk to her about that again! I am gonna do whatever it takes to have a natural delivery, I can't take the thought of goin into surgery!! hopeful2008 -
Wednesday, 9 July Hi Charlotte,
Well, im still feeling sick but havent actually been sick now for a few days - bit if a bonus LOL.
Just to let you know, i spoke briefly with one of our care of the elderly doctors yesterday at work and she was a little against this spatone stuff as its unliscenced, she said i should look at the ingredients and compare them to the composition of the ferrous sulphate that im on. She did suggest going back to my GP and asking for a different preparation of iron tablets as there are many on the market.
So im a bit stumped really and not sure what to think about it now, I will speak to my midwife though tomorrow and let you know what she says about spatone.
I know what you mean about 'this pregnancy being the pitts' i feel much the same for lots of reasons really, it cant be half as bad as yours - having twins, that must put such a strain on you - knowing how im feeling, i REALLY feel for you!!!
We found out at 20 weeks that we were having a boy. I was a bit shell shocked at first cos i really would have loved another girl, however im ok with the idea now and am ready to tackle whatever challenges having a boy presents me with, I look at it now as a priveledge in knowing what it is to have both girls and a boy. Hmm, we'll see when im surrounded with stawars and aliens instead of dolls and fairy stuff hahaha.
Im counting down the weeks too, till i finish work that is! Im finishing at 37 weeks - which is a bit of a tall order on myself considering the nature of my job, however im desperately trying to get to that point in order to give me more time off with the baby once its born.
I am struggling a bit already but my saving grace is that i only do 3 days a week, so although i have 6 weeks left at work, thats only 18 more shifts!
Do you know the sexes of your babies? and are they identical? that would be so awesome to have 2 babies looking exactly the same - if not confusing telling which is which haha.
Anyway, take care and look after yourself, good luck with everything too

Tuesday, 8 July Hey there! I was having trouble with this site this weekend. Any way, Yes I am getting ready for this to be finished too. If they came tomarrow I wouldn't feel cheated in any way. Of course its too soon for them, but I would be fine!
I tried that support belt but having something on my tummy made it itch like crazy.
I loved that story about the tub and being stuck! I can just imagine!! I hope Tony had a good giggle. :)
We had a good weekend my boy gets hiccups all of the time. Its pretty cute.
The skin on my tummy is so tight is is starting to feel numb. Is that happening to you too?
It is supposed to be 101 degrees tomarrow and the next day Yuck! Thank goodness for air conditioning!
Is it very much harder this time around with twins than it was with your daughter? I keep thinking that peope with one baby have it pretty easy now. Just wondering?? Take care have a great week!!~~ :) hopeful2008 -
Monday, 7 July Hi,
thanks for the message!
They put me on ferous sulphate, thats whats making me so sick,
having said that ive just been reading about Spatone, its apparently a natural spa water in a sachet that is naturally high in iron and they reccomend 2 sachets daily, ive read reviews on it and they say that none of them suffer any ill side effects. i gota see the midwife on thursday so might ask her about that, in the mean time im persivering with the tablets and trying to eat.
Trouble is have to have them cos my bloods came back with a low Hb! not cool hu, never mind.
Good luck woth your twins - wow that must be great having 2 little bundles to look forward too,
Take care and thanks again xxx buninoven -
Sunday, 6 July WoW!!! I can't believe that you are in week 30!!!!! WoW! This is really going fast now!
They won't induce me before 38 weeks bummer. Sept 8th is my scheduled induction/ c-section date. Whatever the kids want to do! I am still determined to get them out the last week of august. It is still in a super healthy age range for them. It is just so weird to think next month we will be real moms. When does it all sink in?? :)
Do you have much swelling at all? I am cankle sausage fingers queen! My blood pressure is still fine. I would worry if it came and went but no, its all of the time!!
Ok, I just did the math and CRAP! I have gained 50pounds!!!!!! Big MAMA!! I am counting a bunch of it on all of the puffiness and then just at birth maybe 20lbs gone instantly. But still!!! Yuck!! My Dr said my gain is perfect and the babies are thriving. I can't wait to go on a diet!!! Hopefully breast feeding will be part of the magic fix!
Have a great weekend!!! :) twinstwice -
Saturday, 5 July How did your glucose test go? You probably won't get the results until next week I imagine? It hasn't been a problem controlling my sugars with my diet since I eat every two hours anyways (too big to put too much in at one time) and I have even been able to eat some foods I thought would be questionable. So no shots yet, but they say it may get worse with time so I have to continue to watch.
No date yet for me. I want to go as long as possible, even if I am uncomfortable. My husband is off from about week 35 until the end of Sept and we have family help with the girls from July 15 on so I can take it super easy!
How was your class?
