That is so cool you have your twin classes coming up! You will have to let me know what they tell you! Mine are in about a month and its just one day for a couple of hours. They have a parenting class I will go to in a couple of weeks but its for one baby. I thought there might be something for me there. My boy I felt right away bunches and now he is the quiet one. Don't worry about going into the messy details with me, I don't mind at all! Thats the fun stuff that no one tells you about. How long have you been dribbling too? Is it going to be like this here on out? One of my patients at work today is a twin and she was 17 and she said she loved being a twin. I asked her the best part and the worst part, she said its so great to have someone who is always there and knows you better than you know yourself, like an old married couple. The worst was being lumped togeather in everything, no seperate identity. the mom said they were born 8weeks early and they were 3lbs each but they made it through with no major trouble other than the first initial weeks of being in the hospital. Its fun to hear a happy ending!

Hi, How are you feeling these days? I am anxiously awaiting my scan to find out sexes!!! Just one more week! Atleast all the ms, fatigue, etc has passed, and I am finally able to enjoy this pregnancy!!!! I have started the stroller search in earnest. I will either need two double(and never go anywhere alone) or a quad. I am also deciding what to about high chairs etc. I will need four, which will take up lots of space or I will need to move the current babies to the table earlier than I usually do.Thank goodness that is something that can wait until we reach the point of need. I will need a stroller from day one practically. So, the search is on!!!!!!!!!

Hi Charlotte,
How are you feeling?? Good I hope...Great to find a good pram...Ive found some nice Graco ones my mom will be purchasing for us along with the car seats (thankgoodness) I really dont have anything yet, but will by the end of june as im getting 2 cribs and playpens, and then theres my shower...were in the middle of a big move, so were planning on aquiring everything after we move on june1st...I cant wait to be settled and start nesting!!
Had an u/s today, and all is well. 2 boys for sure. They weigh 0.8lbs each, and still not sure if theres 1 or 2 placentas, but they each have their own sacs...
Not sure if u mentioned it, but do u know what your having?? Any baby is blessed. We just pray for them to be healthy for all of us...
Best wishes and keep me posted on your pg.XO

Well, everything is fine. He say's it is normal to have light spotting after or during intercourse. He said the cervix is very delicate. Even when it is just poked with a Q-Tip it can bleed! Thanks for the concern, but thankfully all is well!

That is so great you get paid time off! That is an amazing benefit!! No, its unheard of here to get paid during maternity leave. The employer will still pay your medical insurance premium but thats it unless you have vacation time stored up. They can't legally replace you at your job for 3 months, if you are out longer than that the law allows them to hire someone else to fill your position reguardless of what your occupation is. Most places won't ,but if they are big turkeys they might. So we have the chance to save up for my time off of work! My girl moves tons more than my boy, is that how it is with you! She is very busy in there! I get scared sometimes because he moves so much less. The Dr said he is just in a position where I can't feel it as much. Are you at the point where you have to use the restroom all of the time again. Ugh! It seems like every few minutes I am in there and nothing! Fun!

buninoven - Tuesday, 20 May
WoW! You are pretty much just home growing babies, that is so great! So far I don't have any big symptoms that are keeping me from working and when I am there all I do is sit, so I guess I get to keep going. Part of me wishes I could just be home growing babies too. We don't get paid time off here, they just pay for our insurance for 3 months while we are gone, unless I have vacation time stored up no actual $$. We put some of our tax returns away and that will cover expenses while I am off of work. Is there anything you an do for your back? That must be no fun when you can't get comfortable. Its already hard enough to get comfy without that to deal with too. Your colors sound really cute too! I tried to go neutral too. Are you going to get 2 high chairs for feeding? My friend showed me how to put my breast pump togeather, that is just so weird that it is for me. Sometimes it feels like all of this stuff happens to other people, not me. Sometimes I just am in shock that I am having kids. I have watched all of my friends get pregnant and have them and thought, maybe someday. Then I think not just one but 2!! This is going to be a fun ride for sure!!

KristenK - Tuesday, 20 May
Congrats Charlotte!!! That is awesome!!! Is your daughter excited? We really don't have that much more time left. They scheduled my c-section for 09/09/08!! We are getting closer and closer!!

buninoven - Monday, 19 May
Congrats on the pram!!!! That is great!!! I registerd for mine and my mother-in-law said that she wants to get it for us. I Just need to get one more crib skirt for the other crib and I am done with the decor for the most part! What is your baby room going to be theme-wise? I am doing red and white gingham with tan walls and white trim. Red and white is boy/girl neutral. I have a white changing table, the matching red and white changing table pad, matching white baskets with the red and white liners. I even have the red and white light switch cover! My cribs are white with red and white gingham bumper pads, diaper stacker, sheets and cribskirts. My friend is making the matching quilts. I will do white dressers and toy boxes, I registered for those. The curtains are red and there will be a red rug on the wood floor. I have a little red and white sign above the cribs that says "sweet dreams". Early on I bought a stroller with a car seat before I knew there were going to be two! It can be the back up one! I went to my nieces birthday party and my sisters motherinlaw asked how much weight I had gained! What do you say to that? I hope you had a great weekend!!

twinstwice - Monday, 19 May
Oh my back is pretty brutal, along with my pelvis (front and back - an old sports injury) and the front of my one hip! And my stomach feels like it is being ripped apart!!! Yes, induction at 37 weeks would probably be good, though the first little while was so rough with absolutely no sleep when the girls were born I just don't know which is the lesser of the two evils! Ha!

Do you have stretch marks? I didn't get any last time, and so far so good but I don't know how lucky I will be this time since I am so much bigger!

But I have to say me and the girls have been having so much fun out at the parks now that it is nice outside. It is so much fun to watch them discover the world!

TWINSX2 - Sunday, 18 May
I know, my DH is excited about all of our sports team potentials!

TWINSX2 - Sunday, 18 May
I know, there are so many things that I love about being pregnant but at some point you have to say ENOUGH. I have definately reached that point ;)

TWINSX2 - Sunday, 18 May
i will not be having anymore after these two!!!!! We were awaiting our vasectomy date when these were conceived, so that will be taken care of soon:) How about you, Anymore on the horizon?

buninoven - Saturday, 17 May
Have fun at your big event tomarrow! I bet you will get lots of smiles from people looking at your cute tummy! It is 97 degrees today and I a melting! Luckily our house stays pretty cool but to go outside UGH! Who knows if I will make it to 36 weeks I am pretty sure I will be out early, they really spoil me at work so its not much different than sitting around at home & I get paid! Its a tough call! My back is doing well, its just my feet get sore if I am on them too long. We had a really good time on the dinner boat last night! Super Fun! Can you believe Angelina Jolie is having twins in august too. I hope you feel better for your big event! Have fun! :)

ErikaS - Friday, 16 May
Hi,
Im feeling pretty great thankfully. My back gets bad sciatic pains at times, and I know its time to stay off my feet, but other that getting tired quicker, I feel good. Hope u do too...I love the thumb sucking pics. So adorable!! My next u/s is in a week. I cant wait.
I was told they cant tell if theyre identical or not...how come many other women know?? Is it that 1 or 2 placentas are present on scan??
: )

TWINSX2 - Thursday, 15 May
I know what you mean, people could not say enough about how hard it was going to be. It would have beennice to have even one person stop and tell me how great is was going to be!! Because the truth is, they have been my biggest joy! It is so sweet to see the bond the have with each other and how they have bonded so quickly with my other children. It's like, they have never known solitude, so they love having other people around and somehow naturally know how to share!!!
I am very anxious to find out what thse are!!!!I I hope they can tell me on the 30th when I have my next "quick" scan. The tech that will doing the scan has done all of the scans on the last two( this being the third) pregnancies and I think she is just as anxious as I am!!!

hiddensurprise - Thursday, 15 May
Hi...well so far they cant tell, because it looks like they share one placenta , but they do have each their own sack...so maybe May 27th we will know , if identical or not and what sex they have....have a nice day :)..

buninoven - Thursday, 15 May
I felt a million times better today! My dr said I could work until 36 weeks, bummer. Who knows what will happen between now and then. I will stop when the kids tell me to! My blood pressure is really good I check it at work all the time. We are going on a dinner boat ride tomarrow, I am super excited! Its the one we got married on! Super romantic! It would have been nice to have a glass-o-wine, oh well, next time! I have one of those super back Shiatzu massagers from Bed bath and beyond, it is worth its weight in gold! It might be a good investment for you and that back of yours! Feel better soon! :)

TWINSX2 - Thursday, 15 May
My twins have been the easiest babies, so prayerfully, the next set will be just as good!!!! How long have you known what the sexes were? Were you surprised by the news of twins?

twinstwice - Wednesday, 14 May
I don't have any scans scheduled yet though I would imagine I would probably have a couple in the summer as I get closer to delivery date to see how they are growing and what position they are in.

Glad you have found something to help with the back pain. How is sleeping? I am already having to totally wake up to turn over as it is getting more difficult!

And don't worry about asking questions, I don't mind. I know it would have helped me before to have someone to talk to about the pregnancy and life afterwards!

weekazarr - Wednesday, 14 May
Thats good... i get a scan every 4 weeks here lol
yeah i got the Lux Babystyle twin pram lol its a side by side pram and it has 2 seperate seats which lie back seperatly which i wanted! the only thing is its sooooo big lol i think i will be "downsizing " it asap lol

xx

ErikaS - Wednesday, 14 May
OMG! Your ultrasound pics are so cute! Im expecting 2 boys and almost 20 weeks. All the best.

TWINSX2 - Wednesday, 14 May
I do have my family close, and my MIL will come stay 4-6 weeks when the twins are born. I think having twins a second time around will be easier for the simple fact that I do have an idea of what to expect!!!!
Hope you feeling well! I am sooooo glad to be out of the 1st trimester and the ms is starting to fade!!!!!!!

weekazarr - Wednesday, 14 May
awww good....your boy is 14.7 ounces
and girl is 14 oz so i think thats right on track....
i am so excited..i cant wait to go spend money on tiny pink and blue clothes lol... i can get thier going home outfits haha
I go back on 10th june for another scan...do u have one around then too?

karen xx

buninoven - Wednesday, 14 May
At my 18 week scan they told me both kids were 9 oz but they hadn't mentioned anything since then. At 24 wks I get another big long 2 hour scan so I bet they will tell me then. Bummer about your back! I am getting the dizzy nautious heartburn with a headache. Its better today thank goodness! Sometimes this isn't so much fun. One girl at work today was trying to help and make me feel better by asking "How do you eat an elephant", the answer is "One bite at a time, just get through minute by minute hour by hour, day by day! Pretty soon this will all be over!" It kinda made me feel better. My sister told me she read somewhere that diapers.com has the best deals on diapers, it might be worth checking into!
