Hi my name is shawna, im 24 years old have been married for 5 years to my husband donny he is 26. we have a beautiful 3 year old named charlotte. A little over a year ago i was pregnant and misscaried, we got disscouraged and were afraid to try again but decided to go ahead and i am now a little over 5 weeks pregnant. Still kinda worried about what happend last time but excited to welcome a new life to our family. :)

January 31st,

just thought i would write something in here since i havent yet, i kinda wanted to wait till my doc apt so i have more to talk about but oh well ill start now. So im now in my 6th week and it is a relief for me because this is where i was when i misscaried during my last pregnancy and i feel fine no signs whatso ever of it happening at least not now. I know im not out of the woods yet which is why we havent told anyone yet that we are expecting again, at least not until we go to the doc and hear that little heart beat which is only in 2 weeks so i think i can hold off. and im glad to be having signs of pregnancy which i didnt have the last time around which made me know something was wrong. I have been having heartburn latley from things you would never in=magine could cause it lol. Ive been having a hard time sleeping i just toss and turn all night wich is wierd and when i do sleep i have crazy dreams. my boobs dont hurt but my nipples (HAHA) are really sensative and hurt when touched. i have not morning sickness yet but do feel a little sick now and then, nothing bad though. i have been wanting to eat nothing but mexican food and lemonade 2 things i craved like crazy when i was pregnant with my daughter. I havent gained any weight yet which is good for me because i dont want to gain any more than like 20lbs. you may laugh at me but its a real goal i gained 65lbs when i had my daughter at that was horrible i was 145 when i got pregnant and was 200 when i deliverd and it was so hard to loose the wight after. my doc kept yelling at me for gaining 10 lbs each visit because of the complications that come from being heavy and haveing a big baby and diabeties and all the things that come from being BIG! soooo this time im gonna do all i can to kep the weight off only for my health and the babys .... anyway till next time

~ February 3rd~

ok im 6 weeks and 5 days today, i cant wait till my doc apt on the 13th to see how everything is going. I still have soar boobs, still having crazy dreams and im up like 4 or 5 times at night peeing alredy, that is driving me crazy lol. Ive gained about 2 lbs wich im kinda sad about to already be gaining but i know its gotta happen lol. I cant wait for my belly to start showing so i stop just feeling flabby ha ha. so yesterday i noticed that my emotions are all crazy. I was so sad and felt so unloved by my husband for the stupidest reasons like i wanted to make him dinner when he got home and it was late like 9 pm and the hanburgers i was gonna make went bad like 2 days before and i didnt want to cook them in case they made us sick. so he was like well i wish i would have known so i culd have picked something up and it made me feel like crap because all i wanted to do was make him dinner for working on the weekend. I even waited to eat with him. he was not mad but i felt like he was mad at me so i cried ha ha. im such a baby. normally i would have just been like opps oh well ill go get something else and be done with it. anywy i ended up making him something else but i just felt crappy and i knew i was over reacting the whole time i just couldnt stop lol. Oh and i forgot to send a bill out on time and i tiold him and he was kinda mad and i freaked out like why are you mad at me it was an honest mistake...... oh im just a crazy pregnant lady ha ha.

February 5th...

for the last 2 days the morning sickness, corection all day sickness has finally kicked in and been affecting me. its not a wonderful feeling ugh. i just ate a bowl of cereal to make my tummy feel less quiezy and it only made it worse.... mostly because i hate milk and i guess this feeling only excelerated that hate lol. anyway off to get ready for work....blah

February 9th...

Had some reddish/brown spotting last night when i went pee. not a lot and i had to go up in (sorry TMI) to get the rest... am scared now because i had spotting twice last time before they brought me in for a blood test to inform me my counts were very low and i would M/C. I really dont want this to happen again... i still have pregnancy sypmtoms, something i never had with the last one so that keeps me positive. But i guess we will see im going to call my doc asap and i already have a apt on the 13th...

February 13th

had my first apt today and had a ultrasound... saw the little baby and saw the heartbeat wich made me sooooo happy. the heart rate was 150! pretty good. now im ready to start telling people now and be really excited. as far as the bleeding she said i had some old blood under my bladder around the vaginal wall where it could have come from. she said i also have some very small cysts around my overies but nothing big and horible... so yay... I know anything can happen at this point and im not 100% out of the woods but you cant spen the whole time unhappy and worried... oh and she said the baby was a little small for being 8 weeks so im motre than likely around 7 wich makes sence, since it took nine days after my period for the BFP to even show up... but whatever YAY lol here is a pic of the butter bean

February 23rd

Nothing new to report other than the killer morning sickness that has taken over my body.... i cant stop feeling so crappy and throwing up... hopefully this will be done with soon

March 9th

again nothing new to report... been dealing with the m/s all day and have gained 8lbs :( mostly because i have to eat every 2-3 hours or else i keel over and die lol. ive noticed that my m/s isnt soo bad in the actual morning anymore or at least for the past few days but it definetly has not gone away..... i have my second doc apt on the 12th so ill update then.... :)

March 12th

heard the heart beat for the first time today and it was 190!! the doc said thats fine and prolly because the nurse before her used a crappy hand held doppler and could not find it so she said she made me nervouse and got the baby all pumped up on adrenaline lol and the baby was moving around she had to chase it lol. Also i have had two diffrent co workers tell me this week that they had dreams about me with a baby girl!! crazy huh?!

March 30th

Been feeling some fluttery movement from baby the last few days., and no im not crazy i know im only 14 weeks but its my second baby and i know what that feeling is. I can only feel it if im being still like on the computer or watching tv. Ive had to pee alot more during the night i get up maybe 2 hours apart to pee but thats mostly because i havent been sleeping good and wake up thre the night then cant go back to bed cuz my bladder feels so full and to top that off when i pee its like a tinkle! lol. i have a doc apt next wed so we will get to hear the heart beat again im interested in what its at.......

April 26th

Its been awhile since ive wrote or even signed on... baby moves all the time! i started feeling it awhile ago but now its little kicks and pokes here and there. morning sickness is about gone but i still get the urge to puke every now and then. I get to find out the sex in just 3 days and im excited!!! I started buying a few things here and there that i need but other than that i know once i know what it is ill go crazy shopping especually if its a boy because ill need clothes, if its a girl im set from my daughter.... we will see....
