I know-- its crazy. My doc actually didnt recommend a chiropracter, even when I begged. She instead wanted to give me a prescription for Vicodin. It didnt make any sense. The change with a chiropracter was amazing-- I went from not sleeping at night and having my life defined by pain to sleeping 7 hours a night! Thanks again for your advice. You really helped this girl out.

I bit the bullet and went to a chiropracter-- got an adjustment and a deep tissue massage--ouch-- but now Im feeling a little bit better. Its a shame that many docs still wont acknowledge SPD!

Just one more question for you-- if you dont mind...
Does a chiropracter adjust backs AND hips? I thought they just worked on the spine. My back does hurt--but its usually ok. Its my hips that are killing me....should I consider a ortho specialist instead? Im not sure. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for the info! I had no idea-- I thought limping was pretty normal. I usually ignore symptoms and hold off on doctors, but a chiroprator sounds like a great idea. Thanks again and congrats!
