Don't really know what to put here but I have just completed my degree BA (hons) Fine Art @ UcCA - I graduate the day before my fiances b-day on the 8th July. Its all happening graduation with certificate in one hand and baby in the other... if someone was to ask me what I was going to do after I finished uni I couldn't honestly of answered it =) now am moving out my flat into a house - baby - will get a job eventually to keep me sane =) been hard enough being a student with no money.

I wouldn't be able to do all this with out my amazing fiance ♥♥ Deano ♥♥ who means the absolute world to me!!! He is a sound and light engineer/installer also dj. We have been together for 2 1/2 years on her due date. He proposed to me on the 10th November 2007 ♥ with a very expensive white gold 1/2 carat diamond ring =D We then found out not long before out 2 year anniversary that I was pregnant and on my 22nd b-day when I had my routine 21 week scan I found out I am expecting a little girl... the best b-day present!!!

Hi - sorry. Been dealing w/ a bunch of crap here at home. Well my dr appt went well, I guess. She said I'm dilated 1cm - it really hurt when she checked! Was bleeding for 2 days afterwards...not heavy or anything though. And I'm scheduled to get induced Tues/Wed. I go to L&D this Tuesday at 5pm and their going to put some medicine or something on my cervix to soften it. She said I may go into labor w/ just that. But if not, that morning they'll give me the pecocin or something to bring on labor. So, either way - I'm going in Tuesday at 5pm and leaving w/ lil Maddy!!!

Crazy huh????!!!! I'm sooooooooooo nervous!!!!!

Wow - sounds like your labor did not go all that well...like you were very uncomfortable and in a lot of pain for a long time! As soon as I get there I'm asking for the epidural! I'm so nervous...just don't know what to expect, ya know? Everyone's different. I go to the dr on Wednesday so we'll see if I've progressed at all. I have a feeling I'm gonna go past my due date (my dr agrees) and that I might even need to be induced. ugh - we'll see. Hubby comes home tomorrow night, I'm so excited. I'll feel so relieved knowing he's home. Once he's home I'm ready any time!

How does it feel being a mommy now and taking care of this little tiny baby that you made? Does it come natural to you or do you feel like out of sorts and stuff? I'm so nervous...and excited at the same time!

OMG!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry, I haven't been on the computer much lately - been so busy w/ everything else! Maddy's still nice and comfy inside...I went to the doc this morning and she said that my cervix is softer and thinner, but not dilated at all yet. Which is good, cuz hubby won't be home until Monday night :) I have a feeling I'm gonna go past my due date. I'm picking his 9yr old Rachael up at the airport on Sat. She's gonna stay the summer up here. So that'll be fun - lookin forward to seeing her on Sat!

ANYWAYS - - - enough about me...so tell me about your new little one being here!!!! Everything went okay in delivery? Tell me all about it!

I know, I can't wait to dress her in these adorable little sun dresses and stuff. I have the cutest little bathing suit for her w/ matching flip-flops and sun hat! Anyways - going to get back to cleaning. Today I cleaning and organizing our bedroom - which I really wanna do cuz that's where Maddy's gonna be sleeping, with us, so I want to make sure there's no dust on the tops of the door frames and the fan and stuff... Ugh - same thing here w/ the sleeping. Been sleeping awful. I can only sleep an hour at a time - have to pee or turn over (which turning over is getting harder and harder to do now!) Plus I'm always hot now cuz summer's almost here. THANK GOD I don't have to be pregnant all summer long!!!!

I know what you mean - I moved up here to be w/ my hubby, and I moved away from all my family and everybody. We were only supposed to be up here a year - and it's going on 3years! So after this summer, we're gonna (definitely) move back down to FL where all my family and everyone is. So I'm not decorating a nursery or buying all this baby furniture and everything yet - I'm gonna wait until we move the end of summer. There's no point in putting all this work into a new room when I'm just gonna have to do it over again when we move - - plus Maddy will sleep in our room in her bassinet for the first few months anyways. So we just got the bassinet, changing table, glider/ottoman - stuff like that for now. We'll get the big furniture when we move. Sucks cuz I'd so love to decorate her nursery before she comes, ya know? I can't wait to move though and get the hell outta here!!! lol

How have you been feeling? Are you sleeping at all?

Time's not really going all that slow for me. I've been keepin real busy cleaning and organizing everything! I'm totally nesting! lol I have this long list of things I want to do cleaning and organizing and stuff. I want everything nice and clean for when Maddy comes. Plus we're gonna be having loads of company over too, so I want everything to look nice. Know what I mean

That's great about your school! What a relief all is finally done, huh? :}

I wouldn't have gotten maternity pay anyways at my job becuz I contract work. I basically worked for myself - made my own hours and stuff, but i did work for a company that paid me. So I'm my own boss, but don't get any benefits or anything though. So it just sucks cuz I was planning on working definitely until Maddy was born - and soon afterwards too. Oh well, can't do much about it now. We'll just have to watch our $$ a little more careful now.

My hubby was out of town when our childbirth class was, and there's not gonna be a next one at our hospital until later in June, and Maddy will be here by then! So I'm just gonna buy one on DVD or something and we'll watch it together. Cuz I'm not gonna schedule us for another one some place else cuz he'll probably just be out of town again. So this way we can watch it together on DVD. Better than nothing! :} Then I have my breastfeeding class on the 12th. Do you know if your gonna try to breastfeed or formula feed?

Hi! Sorry I haven't gotten back to you in so long. Been real busy and last Monday I lost my job so it was a rough week for me last week. I contract for this company owned by 2 partners - and one of them isn't doing his job and bringing in business like he usually does, so they can't afford to pay me right now. They said hopefully for only a couple weeks, but we'll see - I'm not holding my breath. At least now I can focus on getting everything done before Maddy comes next month! Hubby and I went on the hospital tour yesterday, man is that labor and delivery room SCARY!!!! lol I just wanna get that part over with and get to the postpartum room!...I like that room much better!!!! lol

So how have you been feeling?? Good I hope!

lol same here. I still wanna get so much done before she comes, so I'm really hoping she doesn't feel the need to make her first appearance early! We finally got the storage this weekend and moved the big stuff into it so now I'm just doing things (on my list! lol) one by one knockin them out gettin ready for lil Maddy! But there's still so much to do....it feels like anyways!

I'm sorry your having such a hard time. It's gotta be so stressful dealing w/ school and graduation and professors right now. I'm so emotional lately too. I hate being so emotional. I cry over nothing and I get so angry and stressed at everything. Are you tired ALL DAY too? I am. I feel like I could sleep all day - but I have too much to do to even take a nap! Oh well...less than 2 months now. I'm not sure if I want her to hurry up and get here or if I want her to stay put awhile!!! Both thoughts scare the hell outta me! lol

I'm sorry. I know just how you feel. My whole family lives down in FL - and I moved up here to CT a couple years ago to be w/ my hubby (his mom passed away so we moved up here to be near his family for a little while). I feel like I have no one up here except for him, and he is away A LOT. He goes on 2wk trips sometimes and then he'll be home for a few days and then he lives again on another trip, and when he's home he's usually so tired from his trip. I feel bad asking him to do all this stuff when I know all he wants to do is relax - but it's not like I can lift all these heavy ass boxes and get them into storage by myself. Know what I mean? Right now he's outta town again - this time shouldn't be long, though. He should be home on Wed. And hopefully he'll be home this weekend so he said we can get the storage and move stuff into it. I hope so. That's whats holding me back from doing all the stuff I need to do - need to make room for lil Maddy so I can start getting everything ready for her. May is going to be such a busy month and it's gonna fly by - then June will be here...CRAZY!!!!!!

I am sorry your so frustrated w/ the mess and all. It's so frustrating when you both have so much stuff and no room for it all. Then everything just looks so cluttered and messy all the time. I know exactly how you feel. That's why I wanna rent out the storage space so we can store stuff we don't need now until we move into a bigger place...

I know exacty how you feel. It's like I'm so busy doing little stuff like cleaning, dishes, laundry and cooking that I don't have time to get the big stuff done I want to. Especially working 40+ hrs a week. At least I got the front and back porches cleaned up last weekend - that was on my list! lol
I still wanna get the carpets shampooed, rent storage and put away a bunch of this big stuff to make room for the baby stuff...
got a lot of things like that I need to do that I need my hubby's help w/ - and he's so busy w/ work now who knows when we'll get the storage so I can start making room for baby! SO FRUSTRATING!!!! It gets a bit overwhelming sometimes cuz I feel like lil Maddy's gonna be here so soon and I just wanna have everything clean and ready for her ya know?

lol I know I get so exhausted doing just about anything - I get so short of breath it's crazy! We'll be moving too the end of this summer. Going to move closer to my family and closer to hubby's other daughters. I can't wait! I am just glad winter is finally over!!! :)

Hi! Sorry haven't gotten back to you, been so busy lately - exhausting! I'm so sorry you weren't feeling well, hope your feeling better this week. ;)
I took my dogs for a walk this morning, and we live on a steep hill - - - BIG MISTAKE!!! I got down the hill, then coming back up got about 1/2 way up and almost collapsed! I was so short of breath I could barely breathe! Stupid me for thinking I could climb a dam hill when I get winded just putting on my body lotion these days! lol

yeah, he actually paints them pretty good, too! :) I hate blood tests too. Had mine last Monday. All is good :)
Was cleaning all weekend - so hard to bend down and stuff...and I get out of breath so easy! Just walking up the basement stairs I'm out of breath! Crazy - - happen to you too?
