awww that's cute! braeden's doing the same thing! i thought he had a tooth coming in b/c there was a hard white thing on his gums, but it went away so i guess it was just a calcium thing. thank goodness! i don't think i'm ready for him to grow THAT fast! lol.

hawaiimommy - Tuesday, 13 May
lol thanks! how are the twins? any teeth pop up yet?

thanks for the comment. well am trying hard to do a good job and hang in there, it just gets kind of hard working 4 12hrs shifts at work. i work for 911 dispatcher for police and fire and i have long hectic days then i pick up my lil one and watch him at night and wake up then next day and do it all over again, and days off are never the same anymore since i have my bf who is a police officer and works a lot too so i get to do it all. oh well am getting use to it, but my baby is worth it. anyhow thanks again and keep in touch its always fun to hear from other mommies especially since jj is my first i dont know much and always feel insecure about my decisions with him i like to hear what everyone else does = )

I'm in Canada - but I'm sure our products are very similar. these are called D Vi Sol. My doctor gave me 2 bottles of it.. You put it directly in the baby's mouth or you can put it in food/milk. If you can't get it, I'll mail you mine. Unfortunately I couldn't breast feed. She is 3 months 2weeks and started cereal last week. Just 15 ml at night and she doesn't eat it all. She's still getting up in the middle of the night, though. Let me know if you need the drops, but you should be able to get them

do you use the Vit D drops? you can get them at any drug store

Hi, I saw your post earlier I wrote the following but wasn't sure if you were still on. Anyway, this is what I wrote on the forumfor you, hopefully it will be of help to you: Gianna is 3 months and 3 weeks old and is weighing 16 pounds and her ped is very concerned because he thinks she is too heavy. Anyway, he told me that although they are supposed to start cereal at 4 months I should give her cereal now so she can feel as if she's full and not drink the amount of milk she drinks per day. Right now she's at 6 ounces every four hours and it's like by the third hour we have to find ways to entertain her and hope we can hold her off until the fourth hour. DH and I are concerned also we don't want to get too heavy where it's not healthy for her. Also, your baby is just adorable!!!!

thanks for the info!

hey there, your little boy is so cute I just want to smoosh him! lol. I haven't really found anything works well, they're too little to hold anything on their gums. I'll rub gripe water on her gums and that helps settle her down. the only other things I do are trying to hold one of those stuffed toys with the rubber hands and feet (they're for teething)in her mouth and give her tempra/tylenol for the pain. I feel so bad for her, I think she's got her whole set coming in at once. If you know of anything else, let me know!

About the growth spurt question, he has started eating more, won't sleep and is more fussy than usual. With everything else that is going on with him, I get paranoid if he changes too much!

hawaiimommy - Thursday, 24 April
lol good luck! yeah hopefully they won't both go through it at the same time! :-P lol. everything's going pretty good. now i'm starting to wonder if braeden's starting to! oh no!

hawaiimommy - Wednesday, 23 April
omg so fast to be teething! babies grow up too fast! lol. braeden's been drooling and he's always got his fist in his mouth if his paci isn't. i hope he's not teething yet! but we have teethers in fridge. we let him chew on one the other day just b/c he loves to put everything in his mouth, and he enjoyed the coolness. lol. let me know if he is teething! :) how's it going w/ 5 kids? i'm impressed, i think i could barely handle 2 of my own! and i work in a preschool! lol

I'm due in 28 days. I can't wait, but then again I can for the labor part. Are the two tiny ones twins or am I looking at the same baby?

navywifemomof3 - Monday, 21 April
We used the syringe all day yesterday while he sucked on my breast. He ended up sucking it rightout of the syringe himself versus us pushing it out. I also took fenugreek and blessed thistle like crazy yesterday. When I woke up at 2:30am this morning, My breasts were pretty full. I'm just having a problem with my let downs, but hey, atleast my milk supply seems to be better. Thank you so much! I'll make sure I pump today too.

busybeemom - Monday, 21 April
 You have beautiful kids!!!!

mercy - Monday, 21 April
Oh how precious. He is so perfect -you are blessed.

navywifemomof3 - Monday, 21 April
Thank you for the comment. I have been taking fenugreek and blessed thistle. I think the problem is we started supplementing thinking he was hungry and he got nipple confusion. He got lazy on my breasts and wasn't sucking the milk out. We starting using a suringe while he breastfed. Hopefully this will work. Thank you for your advice. Anymore would be welcomed!

It's not the best of relationship. She called yesterday and she said she would talk to him and i handed him the phone but they ended up talking about bull. She probably just told me she would get on him so i would hand him the phone. She won't talk to me for more than 5 minutes and it's always just about the baby anyhow. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm not going to keep on this path though. It would be easier if i was doing it all by myself instead of having him to clean up after.

kwicker - Friday, 18 April
That is an awsome pic, I love it!

eCCAbOO - Wednesday, 16 April
about the breastmilk in the eye thing: did you do it one time or 3 times a day?

1st-time-mama08 - Tuesday, 15 April
wow I can't imagine bfeeding twins, how do u do it? Is it really hard having twins?

1st-time-mama08 - Tuesday, 15 April
That's crazy that it would take so long for the pain to go away!!! It's been close to 3 weeks for me now and it's getting easier, but sometimes just seem worse than others! SOmetimes it really is just painful (the latch on) BUt once he gets going it's not so bad! :-) But i'm def. sooo glad I didn't give up cause it's the best thing and I really do love doing it!

Scooby-doo - Monday, 14 April
I'm so sorry. I thought that you were still pregnant. Last night I didn't see those beautiful babies!

mama2b - Monday, 14 April
Thank you so much. It's so hard not to worry about everything! Your comment made me feel so much better. Congrats on your twins! Double the worry but double the reward!!
