In my 2nd trimester now-- steadily making my way toward the third... I was able to hold out at the ultrasound!! I'm going for the big surprise... There aren't a lot of true surprises in life-- why not let myself have just one?!

My biggest concern right now is child care for after I have the baby. I wish I could be a stay at home mom for the first few years, but that is not possible...

I'm currently at week 26.......very happy. Feeling good. Hope the same for all of you!!!

Getting ready for the babymoon!!!!!!!!!! :o)

My GF is a cancer/gemini. I cant stand her Cancer side. Love the gemini in her. My boss is a gemini. Love her.

So I'm hoping that we, wait I"m demanding that she come out before the 21st. lol

I've had the same discharge. I asked my doctor about it and all he said was it was normal to have an increase in discharge at this point. He didn't really confirm that it was my mucas plug, although I did take that as a no since my lil' girl hasn't even dropped yet. But who knows... Okay, I probably wasn't much help. But at least now you know you're not the only one with snot like discharge. Oh... The joys of pregnancy.

Yeah that's the good thing, work is keeping my mind off of other stuff. I'm not sitting around at home twiddling my thumbs. I have no kids at home so it would be super boring. I do not watch soap operas. So work has been a blessing in disguise.

you might want to go and get that checked out because if your water broke and it has that meconium in it (I spelled that so wrong) then that would be green.

Lmao, I know right. They want the baby saggin from between ur legs. I know she's dropped because I have to tinkle every 5 minutes.

Ok so had my doc appoinment this morning. Yeah so my doc is silly and I think he's great. But he drives me crazy. He told me I will have the baby before August. I'm like ha ha very funny.

It's normal for your weight gain to stop or to even lose a few pounds at the end of your pregnancy. A few appts ago, I lost 2lbs, then I had another appt and didn't gain anything. Pregnancy is a strange, amazing thing!

Yes I was pregnant 17 years ago. My son is now 16 years old. I say wow sometimes when I say that. It seems like yesterday when I had him.

Yeah I told my boss today that next week will be half days for me. I'm just tired. But of course I may end up staying longer than that anyway. I have so much fun up here.

 very nice!!!

To be honest, I was sooooo happy to not be pregnant after I had my son. It took me 17 years to get pregnant again so you can see I'm not a fan. For those women who enjoy it - Whatever floats ur boat. Pregnancy does not float mine.

Well I'm sort of leaning towards not inducing and just working half days next week if she doesn't come soon. But we'll see.

Right now I'm having major issues. I coughed and about tore something in my lower adbomen. It hurt like hell. Now I'm having these horrible weird pains when I tinkle. It feels like she's going to fall out.

I'm trying to remain positive and upbeat but when I walk through the door at work I look angry. my boss typically takes about 45 minutes to get me laughing again but it's just so darn hard to sit here all day miserable. I'm grateful I have such wonderful bosses who are understanding and lenient. They are great people to work with and for. It's just so hard to stay in a good mood. I get there but as the day winds down, so do I. *sigh*
I haven't had contractions or nothing. I think she's going to hold on for awhile. I told my doc one more week and you'll have to break my water.

raynbowmami - Monday, 2 June
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I break down and cry every monday morning in the shower. I'm just so tired.

raynbowmami - Sunday, 1 June
Well you have to have at least 55 employees in order for the FLA to work for the company. We only have about 35 employees. So it doesn't have any bearing. I will use my vacation and sick time and then the rest is all on me.

raynbowmami - Sunday, 1 June
Unfortunately I only get paid for two weeks. My boss would rather I only stay out two weeks but that's not going to happen. I'm taking at least 8. I have to. I need the rest and I know with a newborn I'm going to need it.

RaynbowMami - Thursday, 29 May
Well I think the pitiful look on my face as well as the sound in my voice told him that he may be forced to induce me. If I wasn't still working I'd go ahead and let nature take it's course. Girl I'm tired. I cried all the way to work from the docs office just thinking that I'd have to work another week.

mooter406 - Sunday, 25 May
ha ha.. its a race.. who will be first.. im excited taht i lost mine too.. it means were getting really close now and it could be anytime

RaynbowMami - Friday, 23 May
Nawww I'm not feeling Chakka too much. LOL

Funny thing I only waddle when I'm in pain or I have to use the bathroom and I waited too long. I also do it if I've been sitting too long. But my GF told me yesterday that I still walk pretty normal to be 9 months.

It could also mean she hasn't dropped yet - which I don't think she has.

RaynbowMami - Wednesday, 21 May
Yeah they do feel like their opinion is what we should go on. LOL I'm like when it's all said and done your opinion is what it is - irrelevant. So just don't make any comments about it. I guess these hoodrat fools around here want me to name her Chaquandra or something. LOL

that would be crazy to have your babies that early... i dont think i am prepared for the baby to come like now... haha! But i do hope he comes maybe a little early like 38 weeks or so... i guess we will see...we are taking the one day childbirth class too... they had one that was weekly also but the only one available ended on my due date.. so that was no good.. I hope you are having fun at the wedding!!!

I have pain in my lower back too. In the morning, I absolutely dread having to get up it hurts so bad. I feel like I was hit by a truck during the night.

Steffy-cant-wait-for-June!!! - Wednesday, 7 May

froggy - Wednesday, 7 May
